I'm glad I live on the 5th floor and far away from Bangkok.

We have a huge fire burning here that is so bad it is in the dangerous range for smoke. We have all the windows closed and we can't run the Swamp Cooler.

I can't believe that the peeps haven't commented yet on Gary's western.  I have to tell you that kbois has also written an excellent short story on a nonbinary person living in a home with a mentally ill mother.  It is a tour de force that deals realistically with the individuals without being dark.  There are warnings, so you have to be careful, but I felt uplifted at the end.  I highly recommend that story also.  

I beta'd for AC Benus' short story "On the Grass" and can also recommend that story.  This year's anthology has some great stories!

Smoke is very dangerous.  Here in Chiang Mai during the burning season the PMI can get up to the 300-400 range.  We have three air purifiers, and keep the air inside down to safe levels.  I hope you don't have the problem for long.
