Chicken and veg, chicken or broccoli and stilton would be my suggestion. Hope you feel better soon. I have a chicken breast thawing... I'll either cook a chicken dish or make soup. I need to feel better because my grandkids and three of my kids are at the Zoo, and my daughter and son-in-law are staying the night when they all get back. 3 1 3

Bucket1 Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I ran out of tissues so have been using kitchen wipes instead Definitely buying some tomorrow. I didn’t remember seeing this so I thought I should explain to Man that autocorrect changed bloody into bluefish so many times that we have conceded defeat and now use it to mean the same thing. 3 2

I am a big fan especially with freshly ground black pepper. The flavour profile does change depending on the pumpkin used but the sweet nutty flavour is so good. Some folk like a dash of cream or sour cream mixed it but if the pumpkins are ripe enough I don’t think it needs it. Crusty bread is always a good accompaniment Now I’m hungry 2 4

So any ideas simple ways to try it will be considered, I may like it or I may not. It is a great winter soup. Hearty thick soup to fight the cold temperatures. You can add flavours like a bit of ginger to add warmth to the taste profile. I think that’s why I like a good dash of black pepper, it adds layer of warmth Edited April 22, 2023 by Bucket1 Pepper 2 4
