I am running out of soup weather… my plan for lunch today is a ploughman's lunch outside to enjoy the day :)

Its not soup it stew:rofl:

Soup

Soup is a primarily liquid food, typically served warm or hot, made by combining ingredients such as meat, fish, or vegetables with stock, milk, or water. It often contains pieces of solid food and is known for its comforting qualities.

Stew

Stew is a dish made by cooking solid food ingredients, usually meat and vegetables, slowly in liquid within a closed dish or pan. The result is a thick, hearty mixture where the ingredients are well-blended and tender.

And both are very tasty(especially if homemade), warm and welcoming in the colder months.

Did you know that Yorkshire pudding can also be a tasty sweet treat? If you leave out the herbs, they have a neutral flavour. After cooking and allowing them to cool until warm, you can then top with jam (jelly in the US), syrup or any sweet topping to give a tasty sweet treat.

If you like Yorkshire pudding as a sweet treat, you could add spices like cinnamon to the ingredients, but I'm not sure how much you add, you would need to figure that out for yourself.

Or you could add ground Earl Grey tea and sugar to the mix for a tea treat.

Also works on toast :)

Create your own with a spice or coffee grinder
