It made me realise two things:- There's nature to be found even within a concrete jungle. You just have to have the eyes to spot it. It's still sometimes possible to take a decent photograph even if I haven't got my expensive DSLR camera with me. Lovely. 4

Popular Post dughlas Posted March 9, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 9, 2019 1 hour ago, Marty said: Not sure - maybe try googling something like "how to distinguish clan tartans" or something? All I know is that with in Scotland each clan has it's own particular pattern and colours for its tartan. Tartan is hardly ever worn in Ireland, and I'm not sure whether there are different Irish clan tartans. I suspect (may be wrong) that an Irish ceremonial kilt is normally just green. Oh! Red hair is quite common in Ireland. There are some Irish family tartans, Kennedy, O'Neill, etc. but primarly the Irish wear County tartan or solid colors, green, blue, saffron. There are no Irish Clan tartans that I am aware of. The lad in the green tartan the earlier photo is wearing Irish National tartan. 5 2

No Irish in the line that we know of the family is from Lancashire. Red hair is a gift from the Norse. 3 1 5
