And I feel obligated to mention that Morgan's family is predominantly Irish. 6

Marty Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Morgan (as a first name) sounds more Welsh than Irish to me... And over this side of the pond it's a bit like Leslie, in so far as it's a gender neutral sort of name. But I believe it's predominantly just used as a girl's name on t'other side o' the Atlantic... 4 1

Three possible reasons why that I'm a bit reluctant to do so, though... It's fun having a bit of anonymity on GA It'll be even more fun seeing what Albert comes up with in his search Although I am currently clean shaven, I'd worry that photos of me in my bearded years might cause Gary to get just too excited. I'll try to control myself, Marty. 7

I said "predominantly". There's a bit of Welsh, some French, and a hint of Swiss, I think. Aside from that, I'm more accustomed to Morgan as a first name. Including my hubby, I've known five males named Morgan. But only one female, however. 4

It was only when some new player asked me why I was role-playing a female character that I found out that Morgan could also be a girl's first name... 4 3
