  1. Well it was a better than expected run for the USA considering we were in the "Pool of Death". Oh well, maybe 2018. For now, GO COLOMBIA!
  2. James Rodriguez of Colombia.
  3. Its not even called Shampoo anymore, but changed it's name to Voyeur. I think that was around 2009, before I moved down here. It's the only after-hours gay club in the city, but I've never actually been there before.
  4. I was wondering what that meant too. For Philadelphia, there is a pretty stable gay life here like any big city. Theres a neighborhood here referred to as the Gayborhood, although thats not its official name, because most of the city's gay life is centered there. Although its now an expensive, gentrified urban neighborhood and no longer the gay ghetto it was 15-20 years ago. Regardless, much of the city's gay life is centered here, and there are many gay bars, clubs, restaurants, several bathhouses, and gay-themed businesses. They even have little rainbow flag markers attached below all the street signs in the neighborhood. Not many gays live here anymore though, as the younger ones have been priced out and the older ones have moved to other neighborhoods or the 'burbs. Our new neighborhood that I'm moving too in a couple days is apparently becoming the new gay ghetto in the city.
  5. What kind of "gay life" does your area offer. Does it have lots of gay clubs, bars, bath-houses, stores, and groups catering to gay people, or is it virtually nonexistent where you are?
  6. Which reminds me, this is probably my favorite Glastonbury performance I've seen.
  7. Thats pretty cool. I've seen lots of clips of Glastonbury, but never knew it was on a farm or that it was for charity. The big one around here is the Made in America Festival, which Jay-Z has run for the past couple years now. Its really cool because it's held on the Ben Franklin Parkway, right in the middle of Center City Philadelphia.
  8. Thanks. You have no idea how much I was holding my breath every time an update came on screen from the Ghana-Portugal game.
  9. I noticed that many of the "Hottest of" lists only include star players, and often leave out the second-string guys, who are usually the youngest and the hottest. DeAndre Yedlin, a 21 year old US player. He plays for Seattle in the regular season.

    Art?

I guess what it comes down to is that art is in the eye of the beholder. To me, abstract or "modern" art will never qualify as art, but to others that first painting I posted in my post above would qualify as a masterpiece. I'm a pretty concrete, get to the point person, so I'm not a fan of standing around a picture and having someone ask, "what does it mean to you?". I prefer art that a.) conveys a political point, or b.) conveys a grandiose image of something, such as the second picture I posted above. But again, to each their own I guess.

    Art?

Anything that a normal, everyday person can do is not art to me. Anybody can lose their virginity, so what this kid was not special enough to be called "art". Its just attention whoring in my book. Its the same idea with paintings, where a famous "artist" can paint a bunch of swirls and dots on a piece of paper and it'll be called a "masterpiece" and sell for millions to some rich guy with an ego. This is not art. This is real art though.

    Art?

It seems more like attention whoring and a publicity stunt rather then "art" to me. *shrugs*
  13. No! A Democratic political machine city that is corrupt??? Impossible.... On a side note, congrats and happy birthday!
  14. Which is why being a twink is a poor long term investment and I'm thankful I never was one. They rarely make the transition to twunk, and usually keep their bitchy, queen-bee attitude but no longer have the looks to keep people interested. Of course this is a generalization, but theres truth behind every stereotype.

    Art?

After reading what really happened, this kid is now an even bigger toolbag then when he first announced that he going to publicly "lose his virginity".
  16. Enjoy. Good to know too that you may finally be getting out of Mississippi.
  17. Damn you Mark, you beat me to it.
  18. "Little did they know of the pedophiles who lurked behind the screen." LMAO. I remember getting those free trial AOL discs in the mail all the time back in the late 90s, early 2000s.
  19. What? If that was true, half of my high school class would still be at the maturity level of 15-16 year olds. Our valedictorian, who went to Princeton and just took a job with Apple, used to toke up quite frequently back in high school. Hell, the majority of the kids I took AP classes with were the biggest smokers and drinkers in the school. I've seen enough anecdotal evidence to know your claim is totally false. Don't buy into the government and religious propaganda against marijuana. I personally think smoking it is stupid and a waste of money, but that is no reason to legally ban it. Its a waste of police resources anyway. *cries silently for the soapbox*
  20. If they were trolling that would literally being the funniest troll I've ever witnessed.
  21. An oldie but a goodie. Southern Cross, by Crosby, Stills & Nash.
  22. I feel like being a twink is something that only pays off for a few years, then seriously comes back to bite you in the ass once you get past 25 or so. I mean, where else can you go from twink? I guess you could maybe become a twunk, but how often do we see that. Usually they just end up being bitchy, bitter fem queens.
  23. You mean the kind that are way too old to still be twinks, but still hit the clubs every Friday and Saturday night thinking they are still the hot shit they were at 19 and 20? I see far too many of those at bars and clubs.
  24. That was the first thing I thought of when I looked through the 'likes'.
  25. Sweet jesus, I felt like I was watching a horror short-film with that thing.
