    Don't have a tree this year, so here is a picture from 1997. My mother was 84 then and suffering advanced dementia. This was her last Christmas at my house.

    Wow. I liked this story. Because it has different points of view. We choose our path. Life forces us down another. All the characters are making choices for themselves and the ones they love. Each choosing and changing each others' paths. Each trying to do what is right in an impossible situation. Who's fooling who? Sam

    Check out this story. The Arrangement by DanDevDrew. If you haven't already. I don't care that it is in progress. Yes I get excited. And this story does it. And yes I appreciate being read, whether by a reader or just a really great guy.

    I follow this thread for all the wonderful song links. It has lead me to some interesting places and so thanks to you all for that.

    I write short stories. I mean that literally they are short and I still have trouble finishing them. Maybe a few I could label finished even though I haven't. The stories are unfinished for the reader but also for me the 'writer'. Maybe that's because life is often left unfinished. I simply write where the words take me. A member here recently posted a new chapter for his story on GA which I really like, after a very long wait. I was so happy to see this. For me the reader and for him the writer. His story is well worth the wait.
