There are always words for certain generation or certain purposes and there are term protected that you can't use it for something else. So I was wondering the word "slut" is a protected word for females with special abilities or can it also be used for male? I need to use this word properly.

I have a feeling she's one of those parents you want to have her in your contacts as the emergency but you have to make sure during parent-teacher meetings stay out of her radar. First of all thanks for sharing a piece of you and your experience as a parent. You probably know it but I'm gonna say it again. You are one hell of parents. The kids on the leash with the cereal box and a mom who has surrender to the will of the demons....there were so many things I kept on nodding as I read your comments. The shopping drama was mostly avoided by go shopping alone. To be honest it was no fun to sit with the kids until the tantrum was gone, and the younger one can throw tantrums lasting an hour. I guess I need a private course on how to make the kids not involved with social media. The kids are still young but I see that the time is limited before it's too late. I can claim it's a bit different here with kids having to take responsibility for their own basic needs at kindergarten and school, they have to clean up after themselves and so on but I guess it's a skill they forget later 😅 One of the things other parents don't like about us is the kids had their own phone, laptop and flat-rate screen time from a very early age, they have even access to sweets unsurprised. What they don't see is the strict rules ( expectations) and reality of having more control. We call it the LIST.its a list of their chores to do before they ask about watching tv or playing computer games. There were nights kid1 went to bed crying and totally frustrated because she wasted so much time and didn't manage to finish things on time. It's a good feeling that they don't blame you for not allowing the screen but admit their mistakes. What many parents do is simply giving their phones to the toddler to shut up, what they are doing is giving the full access to the adult world, they can buy things, send my boss random pictures ..., so no, they had their own phones totally limited. I'm just thinking maybe they should get their own platform.... As for school I try not to get involved because it won't end up nice. Like you, we try to talk about the incidents and find solutions, I heard the kid is really problem solving oriented and the teacher was glad that kid1 tried to find solutions for other conflicts. So just Reading your comment was very helpful, at least I know I am on a good way. The teenage years scare me but I hope everyone survive without much casualties. BTW @Krista you have my full respect, you even make @Jason Rimbaudbehave. So I know I gotta be careful around you.😇

Not from an early age. Here they watch everything in German so they don't see the need yet. But they have to learn it at some point. And yep Crepes are better or I don't care as long as I don't make them. 😅

Nope, they can really do it. Hours of threatening and exercise have been used to achieve this goal. Every morning Kid1: can I have my phone? Me: nope, make your bed first Later Kid 1: can I have my phone? Me: ok but only 10 minutes 10 minutes later Me: get ready for school Kid1: oh ...and I'm very hungry Me: what do you want to eat sweetie? Kid1: pan cakes Me: good idea, do it yourself. I gotta get back to work. The eggs are in the fridge, where they always are Kid1: but I can't make pancakes, I can make crepes. Me: then make crepes, and get ready in 20 minutes. Kid 1 makes crepes because that's the recipe could find. 15 minutes later, Me: brush your teeth and just go. You have 10 minutes to get to school but I have a meeting so don't disturb me. Kid1: but....I haven't eaten yet ..... And after several weeks of complaints from the teacher ( being ignored by the parents) and the kid going hungry to school she finally figured out playing on the phone early in the morning is not good and if she doesn't make her bread and breakfast, nobody else does it. I must confess, Kid 2 is work in progress but kid 2 is younger. So nope, it's not lying. It's just a matter of who's more stubborn and who gives up first.

I guess I'm gonna get the kids t shirts with " "we are looking for a new home and we even make you breakfast " Then leave them at some playground and run. It might work on someone desperate to have cute pets who can talk.

When you have to go through all the trouble, sick days, sleepless nights, heart broken teenagers, empty bank accounts, there should be some rewards to it. BTW, the kids are really cute and actually its important that they visit the states to learn English, so do you want to have them for a year? You are allowed to try all your creative ideas ( within boundaries).
