  1. Thanks. I take the hugs and it hurt badly when writing
  2. They are not really ice cream
  3. Can I have your gaydar? Mine is broken. It can only react when a guy is deeply involved
  4. Let's be honest: most people judge other people's intelligence based on how well they speak the official language of the country they live in. Imagine standing in a long line at a registry office or a hospital. In front of you is someone desperately flipping through papers and checking their phone, trying to explain something in broken English. They struggle to find the right words while the queue behind them grows longer and more impatient. How many people in that line immediately think something negative about that person's intelligence, education, financial status or social skills? Probably more than we'd like to admit. The same thing happens with accents. Certain accents come with stereotypes attached to them, whether they deserve them or not. Someone speaking English with a French accent? Romantic. with a Spanish accent? An immigrant. with a German accent? cold, efficient, and secretly plotting to conquer the world with a Russian accent? Oh Dimitri don't kill me... Now, let's say I happen to speak two of the not very friendly languages mentioned. So, according to popular imagination, I am a heartless murderer with a friend called Sergei who plan to reconfigure your Porsche and drive it at 300 mph down the Autobahn to kill the US president. The reality is far less exciting. In fact, my intelligence—and occasionally my very existence—has been questioned so many times that I've learned to ignore these thoughts and try to laugh about it rather than bursting into tears. At least I can speak both German and English, in perfekt German accent strong enough to confuse modern technology. You don't believe me? Ask Gemini in my car. Whenever I try to answer a message in English using my heavily German-accented English, it becomes so confused that it eventually gives up, announces that it has absolutely no idea what I want, and practically calls my husband to deal with me instead. So where am I going with all of this? First, can these kinds of assumptions and biases be realistically applied to fictional characters? Second, since it is Pride Month, is it possible that people combine accent-based stereotypes with assumptions about someone's identity and judge them before they know anything about them? Humans are remarkably good at making conclusions from very little information. An accent, a mannerism, a flag pin, a hairstyle, a partner's hand in theirs—and suddenly a complete story has been invented about who they are. The frustrating part is that these stories are often wrong. For every step forward society takes, there always seems to be another step backward somewhere else. That said... What was the question again? I know...let's raise more awareness to the important critical topics of LGBTQ+ community than dressing up and lookig drag. Has someone seen my skirt and mascara?
  5. Thanks for sharing. Although everyone knows such tragedies might happen, it always hurt when it does. Wish their families peace.
  6. Liam covers his ears ...why should he...
  7. That kid is smart and we are no pervs. Glad I could entertain you.
  8. I don't have a key myself and because of the kids they have easy access. But they knock....most of the times. Don't worry

    Chapter 1

I hope Rhaelce has suffered as well. Poor Malik finally admitting things.
  10. I'm old enough to drive
  11. It doesn't help that much. I was very angry after the prologue...I try to keep going but idk.
  12. This is so sick and I'm just talking about how I feel and I don't know if I should continue. It still makes me wonder....

    Clarity

Thanks for the update. It seems like there won't be any happy ending and Gabriel is one unlucky guy in catching the mysterious man.
  14. Gonna check at some point. Thanks

    Fore!

It depends if the cow moves or not. I mean if you wait long enough it comes to you
  16. That was funny though a bit crazy and im glad I don't eat meat. So I gotta dig in all your stories and find Addison and Stanleys universe. Addison is a bit off but it's still tolerable funny.

    Fore!

That was one hilarious story. I know golfing is not my thing and I am good at it in the level of Addison. I see the ball I see the cow but it simply hits the cow on the head.
  18. That should be enough motivation to finish your stuff. Many people like reading completed stories.
  19. Thanks for all the thoughts, changes and all the work you put here. So to the question "What parts of the site are hardest to use on mobile?" Posting a new story and trying to edit it can sometimes get quite annoying. The spacing doesn't work or the paragraphs are a mess after moving parts a few times. These problems do not exist in the desktop view. It's really easy to post. "What author tools or feedback would help writers stay motivated?" There are already lots of nice ways to motivate authors but maybe more visualized statistics of views, likes, reviews. Or some extra forum like section for authors to discuss thoughts with their readers. I mean of course they can make things on forums but people who read forums do not necessarily read the story and vice versa. So maybe something like a prologue section that authors and readers can discuss the certain story.
  20. I like the or logic but you have a good point. Limiting things and giving fewer options lead to better results
  21. It's cool how the widget appears on top without being imposing. I mean I can easily navigate to where I want but if I scroll a bit I can use the guided search. It works pretty well but is it me or I can choose one genre i want and add several genres which I don't want? Can't I choose several genres? Another thought for someone who is new and doesn't know the GA structure, if I choose recent stories, it gives me the recent stories but of course not from the beginning of a series/ books. So I might end up starting with a second book from a series. Is it too much to give a warning or additional choice? Sorry Myr, my brain works in a way to make things fool-proof and avoid accidents. 😅

    Chapter 11

That was one of hell of a cliffhanger/ ending. I started with oh avatar and ended with...what?! What did just happen? Did Rhaelce just dumped Malik because he has super powers. They will get back together, right?!

    Chapter 10

That was an intelligent sad way of showing Malik's past and his guilt. Will the nightmare get worse so Rhaelce gets closer to Malik? I wish I had read this chapter earlier so I could use the "innocent " question of knowing the word kiss to kiss some of those cute Japanese boys.😅,,

    Chapter 9

Apart from being so classical? At least her name is not mononoké. Sorry for me it was lamely funny. It's absolutely fine and a great choice of name. Why do I keep on saying the wrong things?😅 I apologize. BTW not my type of story to read but you got me hooked. ( All is positively meant).
