@ColumbusGuy @Timothy M. Guys, pictures slow down the system and page loading speed. Stories are meant to inspire visuals in the imagination of the reader, so putting in images is counter to that anyway. If you really need to share an image, place it in a post in a story topic in the forums and link to it in the chapter notes. Just don't put images in stories. This information was in the FAQ, in several places, and always has been.
-
The key here is 'a picture I inserted in Chapter 1'. Pictures do not belong in chapters. Nothing but the actual chapter text goes in the chapter. All notes, copyrights, warnings, commentary by the author, links, etc... belong in the story meta data, notes, or chapter notes.

<3 Thank you! I do love it when a plan comes together! It's nice to get back to the central characters and story, and the action is definitely going to heat up! Thanks for the heads up on the Ritch/Rich. I'll do a find/replace. Damn Dragon won't consistently input Ritch. Sometimes it does, and others it does Rich. I try to fix it right after I do each one, but it slipped through. He has gotten rather serious, hasn't he? Injuries as well as the emotional trauma of dealing with the guy with his father's soul are all contributing. I have a feeling his dork side is going to come out again, though.

LOL! Good thing I have a schedule that leaves you with no recourse but to wait. But you can keep demanding, I don't mind. LOL

“I’m sorry you got hurt, Caleb.” I pushed down a stab of guilt, but what was I supposed to do? Let the guy get away? Caleb had to stay to finish clearing the shack. “The idiots inside the cabin fled right out the front doors anyway. One of them just got in a lucky shot.” “Did anyone see any other human werekin with bonded werekin souls?" I asked. “The one I found has two distinct scents.” “Does your brother have three scents, since he has two stolen souls?” I growled. “Watch

Did you miss out on the feature on Monday? You can still visit it here and download your copy of the signature banner featuring Andrew Q. Gordon's story, Chosen of Honorus. It represents this scene chosen by Caz Pedroso as her favorite in the story. Let's find out why Caz picked this particular scene: Caz Pedroso said ~ I picked it because I like this bit because it shows a lot about Farrell. It shows that no matter how scared, tired, or unprepared he feels he will stand up for himself, others and the things he believes in. And of course I like reading about Horgon getting a dressing down from what he calls soft human. He really should have kept his opinions to himself LOL. Excerpt: Want to read more? Enjoy The Chosen of Honorus with a premium membership.

This month we're featuring another one of our Classic Authors who was nominated by Caz Pedroso. It's my great pleasure to share some thoughts on Andrew Q. Gordon's high fantasy novel, Chosen of Honorus. Did you know this went from free to Premium to published? And the 4th book in the series with just published with Dreamspinner Press Publications! Talk about a GA author success story! Chosen of Honorus by Andrew Q. Gordon *Premium Story* Length: 115,380 Description: The Dark God Neldin has renewed his war with his siblings. The Six have chosen Farrell, last grand master wizard in the Seven Kingdoms to lead the fight against Neldin and his black wizard, Meglar. Joined by others who oppose Neldin, Farrell must still over come his self doubt if he wants to survive. Chosen of Honorus is Book 1 of Champions of the Gods. Farrell is the last grand master wizard in the Seven Kingdoms and the Chosen of Honorus, lord of the gods. Haunted by his failure to prevent the deaths of his mother Zenora, Queen of Yar-del and the legendary wizard Heminaltose at hands of Meglar, Farrell struggles to lead the survivors in holding back the dark tide threatening to conquer the continent. When Meglar attacks Northhelm, home to others who oppose Neldin, Honorus sends Farrell on mission to rescue the embattled enclave. Farrell's arrival at Northhelm signals the start of plans Honorus and his siblings set in motion during the last war between the gods - three thousand years before. Plans that will determine the fate of the entire world. Wicked Witch said ~ Absolutely an insightful, impactful and wondrous piece of writing that any fan of high fantasy must read. Instantly one of my favourite pieces of literature ever. Stephan said ~ Oh, it's over? I'll miss this story, so I hope Book 2 comes soon. This has been a wild adventure, and I've grown fond of Farrel and his friends. The writing is excellent, you spoil us. Thanks. Chezakeeba said ~ Great story! Can't wait for the next one! Download the graphic above for your signature to share your love of Andy's story. And don't forget to come back on Wednesday to see what excerpt Caz Pedroso picked!

Thank you! LOL. How romantic is bunny boinking music? All I keep hearing is techno. So many questions... maybe? He's becoming a crystalline alien form that's at least 'man-like' but I didn't reveal much more than that in this one. That's the beauty of the flash fiction... so much to explore. This is on my list. I might wait a bit though, there's that crystalline alien 'thing' movie in theaters, and I hate getting accused of swiping ideas.
-
These are all like plot bunnies. I could write more, if I can find the time, lol.
-
Thanks, Puppilull! It's hard because I get this whole idea but I can share so little of it, lol. People hate my 1k chapter updates each week--I sort of have a love/hate relationship with these, but my dribbles are great places to put down the gist of a plot bunny for future stories. I definitely like writing novels better, but this sort of challenge is fun at times.
