What a superb night! I think Jamie navigated making up a story well. But having to replace ammo, check for CCTV, deal with people’s stories and what they’ve seen… this is going to bite him in the ass at some point. Won’t always go this well. And I’m not sure the minister will have his back at all times. Thanks for a great new chapter with plausible and well-paced action

Jeezus... don't encourage him. I can already tell you are going to be spending most of your days in the Korner with the rest of the miscreants. And I bet you secretly like watching us there.

I think we're more alike than @kbois had hoped.

@chris191070 just shifted everything in favor of the coconut. 🥥

Usually involves dangerous wolf men. 😈

I like to play. 🥹

Do I win? The few people here at work—for the few remaining days this work exists—needed a treat from me. French pâtisserie seemed appropriate.

Well. It’s complicated. I used to love dogs only, as I grew up with a Chihuahua that was with me for all my childhood. I loved her to death. She was evil and kind, utterly loyal. But the man who stole my heart is a cat person, so I was assimilated. Coconut? I’m impartial to it. 🤷🏻

Won't get rid of me that easily! 😁 Dangerous men are alluring. Makes for a fantastic subplot. 😆 That would be ultimate fanservice ... and very meta. This^

It is. Story wins out for me still 😛 But I'm reading it all with glee! 💚

I seriously love your train of though. Your tracks are as warped as mine! I had similar thoughts. lol Dangerous and attractive is an alluring combination.

There we go. Drown is here! I probably shouldn't comment as I know there's a crowd of roughly 23,495 people who already know more than me and read past this chapter. In a twisted sadistic sense, that excites me though. What the fuck! The parents' death hit home for me. Blergh. But just one chapter in and I'm already hooked again, so kudos to you, Alpha kbois. Let's see who the hot guy in darkness is.

Tim— Honestly, I found it hard to come up with the right words, but I really wanted to respond. Your honesty about gratitude and dealing with the tough days hit home. It's not always easy to talk about, but it's so necessary. Remember, it's perfectly okay to have those not-so-great feelings. And it's more than perfectly okay to be angry at times. It's better to ride this out than suppress emotions. And as you said, there will be better days. I don't know you well enough (yet), but you can always reach out to me, also if it's just for ranting, being angry, being human. 🐺Drown

Today I went to work—long shall it be remembered as the thing that no longer is—in just a hoodie, no jacket. 15ºC/59ºF! And there’s even some sun and wind. I love wind. Good morning everyone.

I still have some chapters to catch up to! That would be a mindfuck, but I'm all for it 😛

Well of course police procedure is not followed properly here, I love it. It's a murder mystery with a set of cast that slowly gets decimated, exciting lol. But how does he smell arsenic? If it's heated and becomes gaseous, it would smell like garlic. Maybe he's in over his head?

Picture this: you're craving that addictive blend of supernatural thrills and genuine human connection. You know, the kind of story that makes you fist-pump when justice is served and leaves a little ache in your chest because you wish you could join the characters for their post-battle bonfire. Or sex. Yeah, there is sex. Well, my friend, consider your craving satisfied. @kbois shows a knack for taking beloved tropes like werewolves and making them her own. This story isn't about brooding loners or tortured love triangles. This is a story about pack dynamics—messy, hilarious, and fiercely loyal. It's about discovering your inner strength. This urban fantasy world is so richly detailed, so grounded in its own rules, yet all of it feels effortless. It's very good. Battles? Check. Villains? Check. Justice? Oh yeah. Bottom line: If you're in the mood for a story that'll make you snort-laugh one minute, clutch your heart the next, and reach for your blood pressure medication afterwards (I know that's not how it works), this is it. "Spirit Wolves" is the kind of story that sticks with you long after you turn the final page.

So that's it. First story done. It's just… extremely polished, you know? Your pacing is on point, the character voices are sublime. Can't wait to read more. 😂
-
Yes. I felt good reading all of it. Eye for an eye. And I don't think you could've written a more clear-cut example of "they got what was coming to them." What a ride. Thanks, @kbois — I'll read your epilogue later, and then there's more stories to follow anyway, so yay.

Wow. The politics of it all. I guess there’s some justice following now. I feel for Caleb, what a messy situation. Sebastian can’t really be soft right now as he is cementing his role as the Alpha Prime (I made that up). Let’s go and find out, shall we?
-
You know what I think? Still awesome! And… I knew it! My instinct did the same. And don’t you dare disappoint me on her, @kbois, or we are going to have a talk!

Oh what an awesome battle scene. I like Riley's fighting stance, Sebastian must be proud. 💙 AND KIDS WERE SAVED!
