    Chapter 2

Well of course police procedure is not followed properly here, I love it. It's a murder mystery with a set of cast that slowly gets decimated, exciting lol. But how does he smell arsenic? If it's heated and becomes gaseous, it would smell like garlic. Maybe he's in over his head?

    Spirit Wolves

Picture this: you're craving that addictive blend of supernatural thrills and genuine human connection. You know, the kind of story that makes you fist-pump when justice is served and leaves a little ache in your chest because you wish you could join the characters for their post-battle bonfire. Or sex. Yeah, there is sex. Well, my friend, consider your craving satisfied. @kbois shows a knack for taking beloved tropes like werewolves and making them her own. This story isn't about brooding loners or tortured love triangles. This is a story about pack dynamics—messy, hilarious, and fiercely loyal. It's about discovering your inner strength. This urban fantasy world is so richly detailed, so grounded in its own rules, yet all of it feels effortless. It's very good. Battles? Check. Villains? Check. Justice? Oh yeah. Bottom line: If you're in the mood for a story that'll make you snort-laugh one minute, clutch your heart the next, and reach for your blood pressure medication afterwards (I know that's not how it works), this is it. "Spirit Wolves" is the kind of story that sticks with you long after you turn the final page.

    Chapter 26

So that's it. First story done. It's just… extremely polished, you know? Your pacing is on point, the character voices are sublime. Can't wait to read more. 😂

    Chapter 25

Yes. I felt good reading all of it. Eye for an eye. And I don't think you could've written a more clear-cut example of "they got what was coming to them." What a ride. Thanks, @kbois — I'll read your epilogue later, and then there's more stories to follow anyway, so yay.

    Chapter 24

Wow. The politics of it all. I guess there’s some justice following now. I feel for Caleb, what a messy situation. Sebastian can’t really be soft right now as he is cementing his role as the Alpha Prime (I made that up). Let’s go and find out, shall we?

    Chapter 23

You know what I think? Still awesome! And… I knew it! My instinct did the same. And don’t you dare disappoint me on her, @kbois, or we are going to have a talk!

    Chapter 22

Oh what an awesome battle scene. I like Riley's fighting stance, Sebastian must be proud. 💙 AND KIDS WERE SAVED!
  8. I did chuckle a bit. I'm glad I was never in any sort of HR position or had to train people. Hope you have a great week regardless 💜
  9. I can hear some others on here in my head, screaming, "Nooooo, @Tanchio—don't encourage him!" But it is very appreciated. Thank you for the comment. 💚 I need to make sure my onion layers get revealed consistently and in time before the core of the onions rots. I hope I'm on a good path! You are most welcome!

    Chapter 21

This cliffhanger is amazing! And it's exhilarating reading through all the comments and the hurt of people having to wait. AND I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT! Except, I am waiting. Deliberately. I'm going to sleep, savoring the resolution for tomorrow. I know how to edge myself—yes I'm really that good.
  11. I keep thinking I need to get them out of the labyrinth or I will lose you forever. Only half-kidding. 😶 Thank you for your readership :3 💚
  12. Thanks, Chris. Much appreciated.
  13. Oh darn it. I revealed myself! Not sure the goings-on in my head are any better than a convoluted time travel story. But yeah, at least it won't be one of those. I actually wrote the ending a while ago. 😬 Just to keep myself in check.
  14. I actually dislike time travel.
  15. One of my last days at the day job! Hello everyone and good morning. 💚 It's such an odd vibe. We all go here still, do our best, and laugh about the state of things. It's a nice team and I will miss them. (In Germany, 3 months of full pay are guaranteed in case of a bankruptcy, so we're covered from January until March 31.)
  16. If you ask me, you can put zucchini into everything! But depending on what the allergy is triggered by, they might be a culprit, too.
  17. It does indeed look like couscous, has a similar texture, but tastes… hmm… more "whole"? Can't describe it really. I did find that recipe somewhere, and as I was trying to find new grain variants that are healthy, different, and local, I realized I probably didn't have millet before in my life. At least not when I was growing up. The German word is "Goldhirse". Not blaming you for not trying that salad with an allergy to cucumbers and a dislike of raw tomatoes 😂 Maybe I'll post my recipe for a tofu goulash stew soon. I have a particular fondness of bell peppers (German "Paprika").
  18. Groucho? Eccentric? Sarcastic? Grumpy? Makes you wonder what he's going through right now. 🤔 Thanks @drpaladin—your character analysis is vital. 😁💙
  19. Roughly. Does it? I hope that's not sarcasm. 😅 I hope you're less upset now that there's a definite plan… or at least a set goal concerning Mark. What would they do without her? She's the one connecting the clues and always has been. Thanks. It means a lot. 💚
  20. I made all of you so untrusting of me that you expect bad things to happen around every corner. 😂 I wonder if people can guess what they'll be stepping into, and most of all who will be there. Thanks, Mike! 💜
  21. Oh neither can I But I am limited by the physical realities of this life. And I sometimes sleep, too. I'm working on it. Thank you, @VBlew 🧡
  22. It seems she is the oldest, the wisest, yet her journey is the most unclear… the least affected by fate I would say. I can't just let this stand, so expect… the unexpected! Hopefully just Mark? Thank you. 💜

    The Bodyguard

I myself had such a slip-up before and simply edited it, nothing bad happened. It just worked. 😂
  24. Knowing the author, there might be surprises ahead. Thank you, @akascrubber 🩵
  25. That is high praise, @JohnnyC and I greatly appreciate it. As I reveal further layers of this universe, your engagement is what ultimately keeps me going. 💜
