Oh, Jamie… As @lawfulneutralmage said, the killing inside in the previous chapter really did Jamie in. His form of processing it revolves around drowning out his thoughts with drugs. I get it. What a superb night! I think Jamie navigated making up a story well. But having to replace ammo, check for CCTV, deal with people’s stories and what they’ve seen… this is going to bite him in the ass at some point. Won’t always go this well.
