Oh wow, @Anton_Cloche, you’re really reading what I’m writing. You have some hits and some misses but all things you mentioned right now should be answered in chapter sixteen. Everything else would just be a spoiler :3 Thank you 💙

“It’s interesting,” Clara said. “What is?” I responded. “The way you both are mooning over each other right now.” “We are not!” Dave said. I nonchalantly withdrew my grip on Dave’s hand, disentangled my leg from his leg, made sure my head was upright and not leaning against the man next to me, and smiled at Clara. She had nothing on me. Clara shook her head and chuckled. “You left Deia’s presents behind, Dave.” He gripped his neck. Nothing there. “Fuck,” he said.

I was never a judgmental vegan. I understand the appeal of meat, and sometimes I even crave it. I have just grown out of it? For now… Hell, I write werewolf stories… those people eat meat 😂, in my world at least in their wolf forms. Nature is way too complicated to be that restrictive.

Aww, what a nice community this is. Thanks for reminding me. 💙 And yeah, @lawfulneutralmage's police details are brutally intense. I'm very much into it, and bow to the level of detail this author goes to.

It was my go-to thing, a staple in my household, while I was living as a vegan. I dropped that when my life partner left me, and have rediscovered honey, eggs, and cheese. 😂 Still prefer (real Canadian) maple syrup over many other sweet additions.
-
Then add a sprinkle of maple syrup 🇨🇦🍁 into the dressing! That's so expensive over here lol.

Maybe her emotions got the better of her. Which is something very unlike Clara, but it was an extreme situation. All actions have consequences. 😐 Maybe he's finally who he was supposed to be? It is markedly different than the story about Adam that Grey's mother once told him. Oh what do I know! Yes. I have a plan for everything. I think.

Crazy Cat Chris. Do it! And waterproof yourself.

"just". lol. The feedback must be brutal. If you had made a golden millet salad for them, there'd be riots on German news even. 300 children That's massive.
-
You're way too kind, chef. 😬

I apologize for being very metric. It is a very simple recipe 😂 Ingredients for way too many servings (roughly 6?): Golden Millet (300g) 2 cucumbers 7 beef/beefsteak tomatoes fresh parsley olive oil (3 tbsp.) balsamico (get good one) salt&pepper Instructions: Cook the golden millet, I just follow the instructions on the package, but cooking with double the amount of water for 20 minutes should be sufficient. Wash and cut into bite-sized pieces the cucumbers, tomatoes. Finely chop parsley, mix with olive oil. MIX EVERYTHING! Season with salt, pepper, add balsamico for taste. Portion out for the week in containers and put in fridge Note: I substituted the tomatoes for tiny snack tomatoes this time, same amount.

I let my werewolves be playful. There haven't been many encounters in this story yet of full on wolf action (pun intended). There's more to come! 😬
-
Thank you, I hope you do, too. Please enjoy the food someone's cooking for you right now. The neighbor with the dogs invited me for cupcakes today. That was a brilliant start. Now I'm heating up a paprika tofu stew I made a week ago. I feel so responsible.

I wanted to address this point in your review, as I feel it might not fully capture the intent of the story. Labeling these elements as "unbelievable" disregards a core aspect of genres like fantasy, science fiction, and the paranormal. While it's perfectly fine to have preferences, your comments seem more like a general critique of the paranormal genre than a specific assessment of "Special Circumstances". Importantly, the genre was clearly labeled, and many comments praise the effective blend of realism and the fantastical. Thank you.

Well, now the kid was napped and I require instant revenge in the next chapter OR ELSE.
-
Chapters that offer respite are wanted and warranted, and I really like to breathe for a second. Thanks for a most excellent continuation of the story!

Elijah is brave and I like him. Anal glands are no joke. Cancelling cable TV over a stubborn unshifting child is comedy gold.

Well hello there. Let the games begin. I totally love Sebastian's power play right now, but it's not like he has any other choice. The council of old people needs this in order to give the young'uns any sort of respect. I hope? Thanks for placing this in Germany. The Schwarzwald is a good choice! I was a bit startled about the detour to the Rhine Valley instead of just driving south immediately, but in case you need a German fact checker in the future, I am available 🙃 💙

OH MY GOD I am so excited!

Haha. The car got to know the minister. 😂 This whole thing reminded me of this: Excellent chapter, thank you thank you.

I want to meet that bird! AND WE'RE GOING TO GERMANY 🇩🇪? I would agree. Oh I'm so giddy with anticipation and joy. There's an odd building here on the street, maybe the High Council is right here where I live? Doubtful, but one can hope. The story progresses nicely 😬 Oh and... Sorry, could not resist. Also someone once told me I needed to be a smart-ass in order to become part of the Krew. Does this count?

YOU GET A GAY! YOU GET A GAY! YOU GET A GAY! EVERYBODY GETS A GAY! In this story, the world clearly needs more gayness to battle the big bad evil. Peter Nichols can go die in a ditch. Right now I am hoping that's exactly what's going to happen, but I guess I'll have to brace myself for twists and turns, @kbois?
