I dont think it has ever taken me 24 hours from uploading to read the latest Grainger saga! But the story was worth it! While Daventry make have more education and certainly more experience in the courts of Europe, somehow Graingers natural charm and sense of others manages to create a greater positive impression. His ability to sleep with anyone that can advance his cause is an added bonus! Thanks, another great read.

Mr Arbour, you really do give your hero a hard time, with only brief respites of a soft arse or hard cock. Poor bugger has to now become russian orthodox! Also a late arrival to this story so I missed the "gap year"! Frankly if that counselor mentioned anything to anyone they would be well and truly up to their arse in alligators as well as unemployed. If these girls behaviour is steroetypical, I am bloody glad I went to an all boys school!

If Jackson doesnt explode soon, he is not human! Between his mother, that appalling Allie, angst over his sexuality, Garrisons who treat him as a piece of swiming meat, the man has more pressure than a fire hose! Nothing like settingbthe scene!

Belated comment, but I am not sure that Jackson's parents are that good at parenting. The storyline suggests they have gone from hands off to total control in one step...for an 18 year old! Jackson is a bit of a juvenile, however locking him up is not a way to change behaviour. Great story and paintball does seem to have done some good....

Sometimes having a partner enables you to be yourself... Great read, a few typos, but nothing the affects the story. Having sailed a bit in my life, I hate catamarans!😉 but i know there are many that don’t take my advice!!! Hope it works well for them. Thanks

My lord graingers talent (let alone penchant) for picking up the young and eligible is truly amazing. He seems to excel at finding "cherubs" in a manner that is simply not taught in these more liberated times. Makes one pine for the past despite the lack of analgesia or penicillin. While I do not anticipate Graingers incarceration, i am glad he secured a plan for Winkler et al. That said I cannot imagine Mr arbour will let Grainger and Daventry off scot free in their tangle with the Tsar/Czar. I think we may need to know more about the Tsarevitch, especially if he has friends like our beef caserole (Stroganov). Thank you Mr Arbour for again making my day!

Colts grudge against his best friend, Sam, who didnt respond well to his coming out suggests a bigger problem. His "its all about me and what you done to me" doesnt reek stable maturity. That conversation could have gone a lot better, even if it had the same outcome. I dare say small town 'merica like small town everywhere has its was of working, its different, but is not wrong, and in my experience it does adapt to new and different if its allowed to adapt. Hitting it with a stick and expecting them to all wake up twinkly eyed to your way of thinking is juvenile and say more about the "outsider" than it does about the locals. Well, that was an extraordinary rant for this hour of the morning! I suppose it hit a nerve (sign of good writing) whjch in my case had a much better outcome. Thanks for the story.

This court is a larger nest of more dangerous vipers than even the Court of StJames! Grainger's feelings at the sudden departure of von Beckendorf and how he felt he had compartmentalised them to deal with later, yet not realising until Davenport pointed it out, that they hadnt been put to bed as it were, at all, was really well done. I am not sure our hero realises quite to the extent he has bonded with the german. Hopefully he will realise it so it doesnt trip him up. It does say something about Russia in that era that while a huge number of people seem to want Grainger's Vozok, it doesnt seem to occur to anyone to get another one built....

Read this if you like good prose, with excellent characters who live life to the full and beyond in a historical setting, where history is not completely upended. Enjoyable, exciting, informative, with sexy-as-hell moments thrown in!

A great reunion! Seeing this other side of Davenport, the needy self absorbed side when he feels all is lost is quite funny. That banter with Grainger whose arrival had just restored Davenports plans was quite funny. Bickersdorf's jealousy betray just how much he thinks of Grainger. I suspect the feelings on Graingers side are more utilitarian! Great to have our man back. I see intrigue in the next few chapters....
