  1. Jian may have been the tallest at the meet. The only time we compared heights was in the primates section at the Natural history museum. I remember we were taller than chimps and shorter than gorillas
  2. Nice two chapters. I liked the rhythm you used, by giving bits of JT's story in-between Andy's narration. I smiled at your cliffhanger being a true cliffhanger and was happy it got resolved with everyone safely back on the ground. Joey's reaction in the forest is quite understandable. It will probably take some time for him to accept his past and see that the sexual encounters he had previously were quite different from the love he can have with Andy. Thankfully, Roger is such a rock for both of them. A true friend and brother.
  3. Well, the meetup happened and was great. We went to the Louvre and the Latin Quarter on the Saturday, and to the Natural History Museum on Sunday. See the pic that proves it. Thanks to all who made it. Those who couldn't were missed I look forward to my fourth meetup next time. London again?
  4. Hi Stuart, In addition to the authors already mentioned, check out Andy021278, Circle, Emulated, Carringtonrj and RileyJericho. There are many others.
  5. Well, we won't be able to do exactly what I had planned, but we'll do our best. I'm glad this helped your anxiety.
  6. Shucks, you're going to make me blush. That was me daydreaming at what my boyfriend and I might do during the summer vacations.

Thanks Mark. I had some too when I lived in England. Maybe I'll grow some again next year.

Aww, Thanks Joann. It was just a happy summer inspiration. Glad you liked it.
  9. Dreaming of a summer day Even before the sun starts shining its first rays We tiptoe silently in cold dew-covered grass Towards the slow river, where ducks gracefully glide. We sit down on the bank, share your favourite pastries. With my head resting on your inviting shoulder I bask happily in the serene atmosphere. As the sun shines brighter, we set off leisurely. For many long minutes the only sounds around Are bird songs competing with the wind in the trees, And the screeching noise

If I were a flower I'd be a cornflower Growing among other plants At the heart of a garden. And while my sister flowers Would be conquering wheat fields, Fighting the poppies' red With their blue hue, I would be mingling With the yellow rose, The white daisy And the pink carnation. If I were a cornflower, I would call for the breeze To make my leaves Brush up against yours, To tangle us into A seemingly single flower Of blue, purple, yellow White and red petals. And the jealo

With letters in his name I write this anthem While within his iris I witness the Aether Lean on me, Jian Alone we are. Kiss me with a smile, Stare within me, As reason loses Its eternal strike, As hearts mesh, As senses win. Share with me, Share the thirst within. Join me now, Silent, then not so, As we stroke hair, Kiss ears, Taste moist skin, Tease with skill... Enthral me! Take me as I will take thee. Let’s hear the intent While senses intone a sonata: Heart on heart,
  12. Andy, it would be... what? Lily, I hope you can make it. You can join us for dinner on Sat. evening. A few of us will also be doing stuff together on the Sunday, so there is more than just the Saturday. Also, Jian will be free on the Monday if you're still in Paris (I'll be at work).
  13. Happy birthday Cia! I hope it was an enjoyable day
  14. Anti-climactic can be a good thing Not everything has to be a big show. Glad it seems to have worked out for you.
  15. This is a fantastic and extremely well-written story. I was hooked from the first chapter. Thanks so much for it. I look forward to the next chapters.
  16. Thanks for posting this, Lacey. For someone who is not affected by GID, there is more to be learned in testimonies such as his than in many scientific articles.
  17. Happy birthday MikeL! Jian was actually asking about you yesterday
  18. Plans are being made by PMs right now. We'll probably be 5 or 6. If you want to join us and haven't made your wishes clear yet, it's still time to do so. Contact me and I'll add you to the list.

Wow, that was both very sad and very intense. As Matties' feelings were increasing, Lem's indecision about his own feelings was bound to hurt him. I can understand Ronnie's protective side, but he's not doing any good by letting his anger and fear for his brother cloud his judgement about Lem. So far, we don't really know the extent of what Ronnie knows about his brother and Lem's relationship. My guess is that if he knew, if he felt that Lem could indeed return Mattie's feelings, he would not be so harsh. In any case, well done, Milos I'm sure I'll be reading the next chapter as soon as it's published.
  20. I was promised a visit from you. *sigh* Ok.... we'll miss you guys for sure.
  21. We'll be there. I will start a PM convo with you guys to give you details of how I see the meet at the week-end, if that's ok with you. Any other interested parties should make themselves known now
  22. Your mum doesn't sound like the most diplomatic of persons (and I know it's not the first time you've had difficult conversations with her). There is a big difference between knowing about your sexual orientation and being certain about a fairly new relationship. You've had a boyfriend before, for quite a while, so it's not like you just discovered this. If she breaches the subject again, you could reply by returning the question to her: did she ever have doubts about her marriage? And if yes, did she ever have doubts about her sexual orientation? I know that these are not easy questions to ask one's mother, but I think she would get your drift.
  23. Happy birthday, Anyta!! Hope you enjoyed your day
  24. Good to see you back I'm sure you still have a few fans around. I, for one, am still waiting for the end of Last Goodbye. GA is just as welcoming as it used to be, so don't be afraid to stay.
