    Chapter 1

[Reply from Jian] Thanks, Nephy. My non-legend is deemed a legend, me likes. I wasn't sure whether this story is appropriate for this theme so I'm glad you seem to think so.

    Chapter 1

[Reply from Jian] I can't possibly neglect GA, GA is like my family. I did what I could for this story and I'm glad for the finished product, even if I'm still not sure whether it's appropriate for the theme.

    Chapter 1

[Reply from Jian] This is a simple story about a man, nothing more or less. Whether this is a legend or not, I leave the decision to the readers. Thanks, comicfan, for reading.

    Chapter 1

[Reply from Jian] I think your review summarized the idea behind this story point blank, very perceptive. And of course you're the first one to review. Thanks!
  7. I fail to see how crushing on someone, gay-looking or straight-looking, makes you a slut. Just accept your crush and surf on the feelings it provides until you know more about him. Besides, you are fabulous, why would Justin not give you special attention?
  8. I wholeheartedly agree and give my own thanks to the people mentioned above. Well done everyone!
  9. Good luck, Andy. I'll be thinking about all of you.
  10. Happy birthday, Steve.
  11. Welcome to all the new members! Enjoy the stories and the community
  12. Thanks for all your updates. You are right about the weight loss not being a race. It has a better chance of being long-lasting if it is gradual. I lost the 20 pounds I needed to lose over the course of a year and a half, and I haven't regained them. I have added more of your stories to my reading list.
  13. [Review from Jian Sierra] I just love it. I've always been fascinated by the gods and goddesses and this story just quenched my appetite. And I'm just a sucker for happy endings. Thanks!
  14. [Review by Jian Sierra] Forgive me, but I'm not really a fan of vampires. I don't mind reading about them when I get the chance though. What I love about your story is the well written conflict within Asta: to love and hate his brother at the same time. At first, I pitied Arial because he couldn't do anything while Asta violated him. But in the end, it's really Asta who is pitiable. This is one of those vampire stories I enjoyed reading

    Where it all began

[Review from Jian Sierra] I think this story is very well told. There are just a few things I'd wanna know more of. First off, five thousand years passed: did the lords and ladies age at all? did their powers increase or wane due to the passing of time? There was mention that Arensha lusts for Ailarha, but he wants to destroy her, why? Did she turn down his advances, perhaps? Galwrock has a thirty-six hour day, does this mean that their concept of weeks, months and years are different from that of Earth? Is that the reason why the five thousand years seemed not that significant on Galwron life? These might not be important on the story, I think all in all I just wanna know. Even with these questions, I enjoyed reading this story a lot. The 'action' part of the story is properly executed even if the story telling sometimes seem impersonal. Not that it's a bad thing, this is one of those stories that has to be told a certain way. Definitely worth a read and I can't wait to move on to Stu's story after this
  16. Hehe, I was thinking the exact same thing tonight as I started the first antho in the list (Dark's entry). But the problem is that I left Charlie at Chap. 6 (I did leave you a review, though ) in order to start the anthos. There is just too much good stuff to be read. Or not enough time.
  17. Wayne, I have only just started reading this story, and I regret not doing it sooner. Charlie is a very emotional character, who needs to find his own path and love life. It feels like, so far, he has been like some floatsome in the river, without any control over his actions, happy (?) to let someone else decide for him. This is well written and I love your use of metaphors. In at least 2 occurrences I wondered if expressions you used where some NY vernacular that I've mever heard before or your own creations. Well done, in any case.

    Funny Story

Awwww. Sorry Nephy, but I laughed along with the doctor here. See, that's what you get for being too friendly with people: they don't want to leave you. You should put those fangs and chains on display a bit more Although, of course... some actually like fangs and chains...
  19. I use many different software, all Windows-based both at work and at home. For office suite, work is OpenOffice and home is both OO and MSOffice, because I just can't deal with how stupid Calc is compared to Excel. For website-building purposes I have to check what mistakes IE will come up with to mess up my code, but otherwise I am happy using FF or Chrome. For any applications that require a server, I use WampServer (Apache server, phpMyAdmin, etc.). I also use XML editors quite a bit (oXygen, XML Mind...). Not sure what you meant by web-based applications, James.
  20. Since the death of my wife my emotional responses to every day events has changed quite dramatically. Before, I had a good hold on my emotions, and I never cried (not that I really had any reasons to). Now, I'm likely to go through emotional high and lows, and to cry while watching a rom-com. In the last few months though, after years of daily tears of grief and mourning, I have had reasons to shed tears of happiness, and so tears have been shed.
  21. Happy birthday, TJ Hope you had a magical day
  22. Yay to (somewhat) new beginnings.
  23. I've really enjoyed the story so far, though at first I was a bit unsure whether I would continue reading. I guess I had a hard time accepting the premice of the story since it is not extremely believable to get so many murders while school life remained seemingly unaffected. However, I was easily hooked by your style of writing after the first three chapters. Dim Sum Mysteries is full of humour and Ryan's somewhat clueless point of view and his endearing personality work wonders. Well done on that! As for the plot, it puts me in the mind of classic comedies where the hero runs around the city in search of something that always eludes him. I am really curious as to what you have planned next. Chapter 16 is actually the first one where detective work finally pays off with some tangible information, so maybe the Club is moving forward. Looking forward to the rest
  24. Happy birthday, mate (from John and I) You're one of the nicest guys around and GA is a better place for having you
  25. Haha, I'm going to be humming that all day now
