  1. GWS is a better team then Carlton and Swans combined!
  2. I don't watch the bombers! West Coast it my team, and I've met a few of the guys Plus they are one of the best teams, even if when we lose we always lose it in the 2nd half of the game because they seem to forget how to kick and catch and score goals But they are still a better team then Collingwood!
  3. AFL is one of the only sports I will watch on tv, but only if West Coast are playing I also like to watch the F1, V8s and the motorbike races, but I'm rarely around or wake when any motor sports are on tv
  4. I really never liked playing sports particually team sports, but as a kid I use to play netball I've always liked playing chess, and recently I've taken up boxing which I absolutly love.. even if I suck at it!!
  5. Nifty is shocking and full of just pure smut
  6. There isn't many of them, and its a bit of a shame really since its really hard to find lesbian stories that are good quality and aren't aimed at men.

  11. I've got the Buffy and Angel complete box sets and I absolutely love owning them (I've just started watching Buffy again from the start and I'm now on season 5) A bit of Fry and Laurie is my favourite comedy box set I've got.
  12. Happy birthday Stellar!! And you're still on the right side of 35 lol Hope you had a good one
  13. I can't wait to see this movie!! Simon Pegg is a genius comedian and Nick Frost is wicked funny. Martin Freeman has got to be one of the best actors around I reckon. But it's kinda sad since it will be the last movie of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy.
  14. Wow this is a surprise, who would have thought a healthy fit guy like Vic would have a heart attack. Rest in peace Vic, you were a great guy and I loved talking to you whenever I saw you in chat.
  15. I'm sorry things are so shit for you at the moment Freddy, I know we haven't spoken in ages but if you ever needed someone to talk to just send me a message. I can't say things will get better, but hopefully everything with quieten down a bit.

  17. Happy Birthday Myr! Hope you had a great day!
  18. I don't really know how to word this so it's kinda all over the place. I'm still a bit shaken about driving (or being anywhere near a car) since someone was an idiot on the road and ran into me and wrote off mums car. It gives me a mild anxiety attack every time I have to take myself to work. It been just over 5 months but I still miss Karl, it makes me feel rather stupid that I'm still so badly affected by it. Even though I've been talking and having a great time with an old friend who recently got back in touch. It makes me feel horrible that I want just one more phone call from Karl. It seems like I'm on this loop of me thinking I'm finally over it, and then I wake up crying and everything comes flooding back. I've only cut twice in the last month, so I'm ok about that. Even if I want to, I take a deep breath and if I have to then I will cut, but I haven't had to in about a week. But I've realised that I cut when I over think about Karl and don't want to cry.
  19. Happy 50th birthday Mark!!
  20. Happy Birthday Pattykins!
  21. Ninjas... Cause they are freakin awesome! who doesn't love an evil ninja in some bad taste sorta Japanese movie?! And samurais are just warriors with long swords right?
  22. I get tired of reading from first person pov, I get sick of a story very quickly if its always in first person pov. I like the all seeing pov cause I like to know everything about all the characters. I voted other cause well I don't write stories
  23. I never use to sleep at night until recently, I still get insomnia occasionally but not so much since I started exercising harder as well as working all day. Here are some things that sometimes help me to fall asleep: Reading a book with a really dim light. Keep your bedroom at a cooler temperature. Having a warm shower or bath a few hours being you want to sleep. A relaxing pillow spray - lavenders good A warm drink and a small snack before you go to bed (strong chamomile tea works great) Don't eat or drink anything with caffeine after midday (including chocolate) Don't nap during the day. Go to the toilet before starting your bedroom routine (seriously nothing is worse then being nice and cozy and about to fall asleep and then having to get up to go to the loo and then not being able to get back to sleep). Turn all electronic stuff off in your room, get rid of any clocks with an illuminated face or numbers. Having a small fan run next to my bed, making some background noise (and cutting out traffic and other noise outside my room), keeps me cool and circulates the air in my somewhat stuffy room, makes me sleep, I can't sleep without it running now. Listen to some soft, slow mellow music and do some breathing exercises. Wake up at the same time every single day, even on weekends or if you haven't had much sleep the night before don't try to 'catch up with sleep' by sleeping in all day. Try and go to bed the same time every night, if you can't sleep after 15mins, get up and do something quiet for 15mins before trying again. Try not to stress out about falling asleep or whatever time you have to wake up in the morning, it'll probably keep you awake all night. Take a pseudoephedrine or another drowsy antihistamine or cold tablet. Over the counter sleeping tablets will probably knock you out, but they generally make you feel drowsy and lethargic the next day. If you've got racing thoughts, get up out of bed, sit down somewhere quiet and with dim lighting and write down everything that your thinking. Don't exercise after 6/7pm, exercising too close to bed time will keep you awake. If you can, do your exercises when you wake up or around lunch time. If all else fails (or if its getting close to your wake up time) get up out of bed and start your day a bit earlier. You'll probably fall asleep easier the next night. If you still can't sleep more then a few hours a night for over a few months and your sleeplessness is making getting through your day difficult, then try and get an appointment with a respiratory specialist or a sleep specialist. You might have sleep apnoea or another disorder that could be stopping you from falling/staying asleep and sleeping tablets only mask the problem not solve it.
  24. I don't write stories but I love reading fanfiction, mostly because I like reading about my favourite characters having sex. Besides that I like reading it because it expands the character from canon, some authors are quite particular about how they see the character and either elaborate what's in canon or take them on a completely different journey, and I just think its great that there can be so many different versions of a character and most of the time you can still say 'oh well that seems like something the canon would do' I think that to make a fan fic decent, you need to find the balance with the characters, otherwise anything goes. I'll only read fan fiction about a fandom that I'm in, with characters I enjoy on the screen. And I think that if the author enjoys it, and the readers keep reading it, there's some pretty shit stories and some absolutely fantastic stories that I prefer over 'original' stories but fan fiction will always be around and the authors should be taken seriously because they put in just as much time and effort to write their stories as other non fan fic authors.
