Happy, Happy Birthday Neil!!! Hope it's a great one! Hugs, Viv

Okay so I sort of had a mini breakdown yesterday I think I'm going to mostly blame it on my monthly female hormones... but I finally got to see some pictures of my brother's wedding that I couldn't go to cause it was in Spain and I was crying! Then I wondered why I was crying and I think it was because I really, REALLY wanted to be there, which is REALLY selfish because it's not about me, it's about him and how he got married and that I should be happy for him, which I am, but... anyway then I realized I was being selfish, and then I got mad at myself and that made me more upset... vicious cycle. Anyway, I had a few friends talk me down off the proverbial ledge so I could get my crap together enough to go to work, but the thing is... I am still pretty sad about it. I guess that will pass eventually and I really only get in these moods every once in a LONG while so I guess I'll deal. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN!!!! Okay so I just had the funnest little chat with Rich while he was at work and I took a little break from the wedding cake making to talk to Joey! Here it is... Viv: and this f'ing cake... the thing is HUGE Rich: I get that a lot Viv: really?? who else are you showing that thing to? Rich: Well when my freak flag is flying, the whole world can see it Viv: HAHAHAHA! Viv: omg! i love it! Rich: i get that a lot too Viv: mm hmmm, modest man Viv: and give it to me baby Rich: i only get that from you Rich: no one really wants it they just point and stare Viv: that big huh? Viv: anyway, i better go get dressed so i can go pick up more frosting and then get back to my naked cake making Rich: ill get the frosting off you Rich: you are not naked...are you?! Viv: who wants to know? Rich: My flag pole is rising Viv: now i have to go... so i can say... let them eat cake! Rich: ok but are you really naked? Viv: lol! Rich: awwwwww Viv: what do you think? Rich: i think you're all pulling my...chain? Viv: well, no, i do have a little apron on though Rich: ?!?! Viv: been a while eh? Viv: need some lovin babe? Rich: yes i do So between my pals and my hubby I am smiling again... Hugs, Vivian and one apron PS. Joey! You can doooooooooooooo it!

Okay so a crazy hectic week and it's just gonna get worse I'm pretty sure... but I guess it's all worth it since I'm getting a new sister out of it all and I get both my brothers home at the same time I do have to make a wedding cake though so it might almost be a trade off... I just got home from work and Rich showed me this video clip, OMFG!!! This guy is awesome! You TOTALLY have to watch this! http://www.break.com/index/evolutiondance.html I actually started chapter 19 this afternoon, so yay for that! I'm kinda excited cause I am working on a project... sort of... with a friend I met on here... and I hope for his sake something productive comes out of it cause he is a really great guy with so much to offer! I signed up to write something for the summer anthology but I have NO idea what I'm gonna do yet and I can't even begin to think about it this week anyway. OMG! and... I went to the mall yesterday to buy a wedding gift for my brother and his new wife and the beep beep store was CLOSED!!! In the middle of the day I swear there are rules about this somewhere... so now tomorrow I have to bake a wedding cake, take my son to get a haircut cause now it's so long he is doing that really cute head flip thing to get his hair out of his eyes, buy a wedding gift, mail off Mother's Day cards, and go to work tomorrow night... Hugs to my pal, hope your finals are going well! It's Kevin's birthday on Friday and all I can say is yay and hahaha cause you turned 29 first Sweetie! just cause... Hugs, Viv PS. Hey angel welcome to GA!

Cute too! well Matty is anyway, haven't ever seen Com... still waiting on him to return the favor And while I'm at it... I might as well wish it to my German friend too... even though it's already passed and I already told him, but just for fun! Okay, anyone who emailed me, I swear I am gonna take tomorrow and reply... finally and I'm sorry it's been so long, but I will do it, tomorrow, I promise! I really am just trying to finish this chapter so I can get it out tomorrow too. It's gonna be great too! Just as soon as I finish editing for Davey ... Umm to that cutie I've been helping... mostly helping him avoid his education I think, hehehe, I am SO proud of you for being brave and going after what you want! I want to wish Kevin a.k.a. A Friendly Face an easy move and good luck on his finals, can't wait to hear from you again hun! Here are some links to some stories I think you all might like to check out... they are new and from new authors, but really promising if you ask me... which you didn't but it's my blog so deal! http://www.voy.com/17262/7687.html http://library.gaycafe.com/nifty/gay/celeb...bands/runaways/ If you read those, take some time and give my boys some feedback... I know they would appreciate it so much! Hugs, Vivian P.S. Smooooooooch pal!

I'm gonna preface this blog with the fact that I'm sunburned and my dog is shedding her winter coat ALL over my house! Also, I am so ready to start a new week. Last week left me feeling like I couldn't concentrate on any one thought for too long, which for me, is ridiculous since normally I think things to death and then... rethink them. Anyway, on with the blog! So lemme see... I started out the week editing two amazing new stories for some friends and all I'm gonna say is the stories are fantastic! Then on Tuesday we had our G.S. meeting and the girls gave me cards they had made at home for Leader Day, and OMG! they are so, SO sweet! I've been seriously considering not being a leader again next year... but I think I might stay one more year and let my daughter finish this level with me and then she can go on if she wants to. Besides that my freaky pal had some stuff happening, but I'm REALLY glad that it's under control now cause they are all such amazing people and deserve some happiness. Then there was Kevin... but at least he was considerate enough to tell me and assure me he was safe or I would have killed him myself! Then there was a few other guys who were in need of some Vivvy time. Umm, so I took my girls to camp this weekend. The whole thing is a competition from the theme and decoration of your campsite to the skills to games, etc. We won second place in the fun events out of like 30 troops so that is way awesome, especially since my speech all weekend to them was it's not about winning, we are here to have fun and if you do your best that's good enough for me and you all are winners then. Then they have a leader event too and one leader from each troop has to compete, but they don't tell us what it is until the event happens. SO, since my co-leader is pregnant and so I had to do it again this year. They blindfolded me, spun me around five times and then two of my girls had to guide me through and obstacle course... blindfolded!!! But it was fun and I didn't break anything so I ended up staying up on Saturday night talking to another mom who came along and we were discussing how you learn how to be or not be a parent from how you were raised and I told her that I still am realizing things about myself that I am figuring out how I got to be this way... Like how I feel like I can save the world and help everyone, etc. At the end of each campout, they have a little reflection on the weekend and they sang this song. I Love Being a Girl Scout On my honor I will try, to keep the promise that I made To serve my God, to serve my country Because it's right to live that way I'll do my nest to be courageous Honest, friendly, fair, and strong Respect myself, respect all others If I do that I can't go wrong. I love being a Girl Scout, Sisters everyone, working, having fun, oh... I want to help the world out, That's what I'm about. I love being a Girl Scout! Across this land, around this Earth Girls like me reach out in peace. Different skin, different language, Sharing in the same belief. President or astronaut, Doctor, lawyer, CPA, And a mother when I'm grown, Proud to hear my daughter say I Love Being a Girl Scout! That tells me a lot right there... Other than that, Rich attacked the beehive and is still alive so now all he has to do is cut the wall open and remove it  That's about it for now I think... except to say that I am really SO proud of my sweetie who posted a story finally And to my other friend who I sort of motivated to write something again... it's great! I'm so glad you are doing it! Love ya, Vivian PS. I am a girl!

Well, at least yours rhymed Thanks Nick, and especially Kevin for all the nice things you guys said... and I agree, there really is a LOT of great talent here, evolving and growing, some just starting out, but so much possibility, it's awesome! Hugs, Viv PS. I don't know if me inspiring you with my words to not speak for a whole day is a good or a bad thing but nevertheless, amazing... kinda like you are.

Hey Vancey Yes you get a 'y' at the end of your name just like everyone else does! Have one heck of a Happy Birthday kay! Hugs, Viv

So last night I made myself go to bed at 9 pm since I was supposed to be up for work at 2 am but I couldn't fall asleep so I ended up watching TV and on VH1 they were airing the glaad media awards. The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) So I watched as Melissa Etheridge was presented with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award. The award is presented to an openly lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender media professional who has made a significant difference in promoting equal rights for our community. I watched her give a very moving speech about existing and living in your truth. Amazing woman! Then they presented Charlize Theron with the Vanguard Award. The Vanguard Award is presented to media professionals who, through their work, have increased the visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. During the presentation they showed a clip of Charlize Theron being interviewed and she made such a powerful statement. The person interviewing her was asking about her boyfriend Stuart and then asked when would they get married and Charlize replied... when everyone in America can get married! Amazing woman! I just got this email from a reader today and it is things like this, and people like those above, that make me proud to be here and to have made friends with you and to those of you have become even more special to me, that is an added bonus for me. Here is part of the email... hello i just want to say THANKYOU for "From Behind Those Eyes" it was a great 18th birthday present and i even did an Essay on it for my English. Holy moly! I'm way honored! Soooooooooo excited the spring anthology is almost out and thanks to Kitty for keeping it all together! I owe a HUGE thanks to Joey, my html man, who I always seem to overlook, but he always tells me not to thank him.... anyway Joey... thanks so much for all the time you spend pep talking me and computer explaining and htmling... can you make that a verb? Oh well, I just did. You are the man From the inner circle, right where I like it Vivan PS. I have to work at 3 am the next two days also so I really apologize for the chapter delay but hopefully by Sunday if I can keep my eyes open long enough to type.

In their next life, maybe they will be pond scum
viv commented on Luc's blog entry in Luc's Dementia
People like you described suck! No other way to say it... and worse, they ruin it for the rest of us who really are genuine and do care. I'm sorry.... Viv PS. Smile? Please... pretty, pretty please? -
Kevin! Oh my golly! You NEED to go and find out what time Cody gets off work next time and then... Order him a drink and offer to walk him to his car after you spend some time talking while he has his mouth full swallowing said drink and maybe then... I dunno, once he's innebriated, you can convince him to go with you to Houston and... or at least offer to drive him home... well you take it from there! So glad your grandpa is up and around... can't keep the old man down eh? And your grandma my grandpa went through the same thing, it's beyond frustrating and sad... Sigh! Glad to have you back hun! Vivian PS. I thought that was your hips I grabbed... lookin' all fine in them pants!

You know Luc... I was gonna write something equivalent to what Snowy said, but he did well and I fully agree with him. You definitely have a gift with words... The thing is, I hope anyway, that you first and foremost, you write for yourself. I know it's not rational to think that we don't all love that feeling we get when someone tells us that they got something out of out story, FELT something, learned something, felt less alone in their own world, even if only for a few minutes... but in the end, you do it for yourself. There is something in this world that everyone is good at... and we all heve deficencies as well, but I can say a few things without a doubt in my mind. 1. You're definitely not deficient when it comes to having feelings and a need to get them out, nor are you deficient in the way you choose to do that, and I have loved every word I've read, even moreso, because I know they are truths being shared. 2. I can say, without a doubt, that for me, I hope that you will please always be honest with me. I know that sounds simple, but I mean completely honest, no second guessing yourself, or third guessing even, and no holding back for my sake. If you feel it say it, simple as that. I know that for some people, being who you are, dealing with judgements being made or people's opinions of you is overwhelming... but I can say, at least for myself, I like the truth, the reality, to FEEL. I guess, the truth for me, is worth so much, and it may seem weird, but I am really good at reading people and I hear what you say, but I also hear what you don't say... Okay so, here is something for you.. some words that I find fitting... a song... I am unwritten, Can't read my mind I'm undefined I'm just beginning The pen's in my hand Ending unplanned Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words That you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your INHIBITIONS Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The rest is still unwritten I break tradition Sometimes my tries Are outside the lines We've been conditioned To not make mistakes But I can't live that way Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words That you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your INHIBITIONS Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words That you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your INHIBITIONS Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips treat yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The rest is still unwritten The rest is still unwritten the rest is still unwritten No judgements, no opinions, just real feelings and friendship. I want all of Luc, not just the part he thinks I want. Like Snowy, I have a saying too. Here it is... You don't get to decide that for me. Meaning, stop deciding I don't want to know you or how I will feel about you when that happens... it's my choice, my decision... All of you... Vivian

I sometimes find it funny the way people describe the act of having sex or making love, or some would even say f**king... I guess it comes down to a few factors though; who the two people are and what type of commitment you have to one another, but then... in the end really, it is the same act... maybe it's the amount of emotional feeling you put in to it that makes the difference. It had been just about two weeks yesterday when we finally got to engage in that same act ourselves. That is a LONG time for us too but I had this crazy stomach flu for some days and then we left on this trip to Arizona for the funeral and were staying at a friends place and in a hotel room with our kids in the next bed... nuff said, and by the time we got home to our own bed... well, let's just say that I had some girl issues happening. UGH! So by the time that was all over... it had been like fourteen days! I mean we snuggle and cuddle every night in bed and I even helped him out a few times but it's just not the same, you know? And... I missed him, and that feeling he gives me. Not THAT feeling, although I do appreciate that one alot also, but the one where my brain finally lets go of all the millions of details it is thinking and working on and trying to remember, and I just... LET GO and FEEL instead of think. I told Rich the other day as we were passing all the cactus and nothingness in the car, that I think I sort of thrive on chaos and stress, but what I didn't say is how he is about the only on who can calm it all down for me. Make me just forget everything, even if it's only for an hour, it's magical, necesary, perfect. We were in our bed yesterday morning and I had a couple hours before I had to get up and go to work and since we had some privacy and no girl issues standing in our way and it was only obvious that we both were quite available I took it upon myself to initiate something, but it was strange because you would think after fourteen days of not having sex that he would have been all over that idea, but instead he just cuddled me, and then... He made love to me, his fingers in my hair, his lips against mine without it really being a kiss, but just enough so I could feel them there, and his warm breath. Fully clothed, but every sensation was magnified, multiplied, and every place his fingertips touched seemed to come alive, a feeling of heat remained as his touch moved on, and after a long while of this... being intimate, letting go, he did make love to me in every sense of the word. Later that night, after I got home from work and we went to bed, we had sex again, but this time it was more about THAT feeling. And afterwards he said... we should do this every night. while I fell asleep. Vivian PS. I can't wait to read the spring anthologies

So, here's what I've learned just by reading your post here... You are incredibly thorough and intelligent and you overthink things like crazy. You will put aside your own happiness for the happiness of a true friend and you are about three steps ahead of everyone else who hasn't yet figured out some things about life. I've only just met you Luc, and Mark, but I like what I see. I am sort of an overthinker too, but more an overfeeler I guess you could say... I sort of have a tendency to find some way to bond with someone and then it's all over, I care about you and there's nothing you can do about it. It seems simplistic, but in a way, I prefer it. It takes away all of the nonsense and ego involved and leaves me with true emotions and saying exactly what I think and feel... it's genuine, and I like it that way. Real. I don't have to sift through what people say to find the truth in it, because I feel it, and I appreciate the insight it gives me. But like I said... simplistic. Maybe all it needs to be to start with, is a bowl of cherry vanilla ice cream and two spoons, sitting in a park, watching the kids playing, and laughing and smiling... always a necesity for me, cause it's SO much better than being sad and worried about the people I care about. No judgements, just total acceptance of the 'you' that I feel. Glad you're here hun, Vivian

Hey Cutie! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many Happy Birthday wishes for you! Enjoy your surprise and have a great day! Love ya! Viv

Home Sweet Home~ My own bed, my own pillows, back to sleeping naked ahhhh! Sigh of relief! Well, the trip to Arizona in a nutshell... We, left here around 9:30 am, an hour and a half behind schedule by the time we stopped for gas and air in the tires and breakfast and some medicine for my son who had a runny nose and we drove... About an hour into it we see this accident that had just happened. It was one lane on an interchange from one freeway to another and they had these cement barriers up along the sides because they are doing construction there and there is this SUV poised carefully ON one of these barriers It's back passenger wheel was up on the barrier and the other back tire hanging in mid air and the front end on the ground... I have NO idea how a car would even get into that position unless you dropped it from the sky, but whatever. Everyone appeared to be fine as they all piled out looking in wonder at their car and probably wondering how they were gonna get it down again. Then it pretty much goes like this... cactus, cactus, dirt, cactus, dirt, casino, cactus,... I think you can sense the pattern here. But I did see 2 bilboards as we were driving that were so funny that I actually wrote it down in my trusty notebook that I was using to write Chapter 18 since I was passengering, not driving. The first one said... Warm Hugs, Hot Slots! Obviously for a casino but it was funny and the other one said... Tall, outdoorsy type seeking relationship, call Lamar and a phone number... and Rich was like... Dude, is that a personal add?! It looked like it, but as we kept on driving we saw another one similiar and then he noticed that all the bilboards say Lamar on the bottom and I decided it was a clever advertisement for bilboard space, the bilboard of course being tall and outdoors... So we get through there and pass through Palm Springs and 29 Palms and I waved at a friend as we drove through and then to the border where we stopped for lunch and Rich is grinning and I ask him what's up and he points to the hotel there and we stayed there which we did... Before we get back in the car Rich notices that they sell tapes there and so we go to look for one for the stretches of 'no radio stations' cause he doesn't really like the 3 I had in the car already and I found Bad Boy Ballads 2! And after I make him go buy it he says... this never leaves the car! Back in the car... and my son went back to sleep and slept most of the trip... we get to Bette's about 6.5 hours later and see my daughter for the first time in 10 days We visited for a little bit and then get back in the car and went to visit another friend in the area I knew and then after she fed us some GREAT tamales for dinner we get in the car and drive 3.5 hours further to the big town near Rich's aunt and uncles house. We got there at 11:30 pm and checked into our hotel for the night. Next morning I am up at 6 and get everyone ready and packed up and we go find a Denny's for breakfast and then drive the 25 more miles to their house which ends up being about 25 mikes from the border of New Mexico. They live in this little house with a wood burning stove for a heater on 10 acres of nothingness and the town is 25 miles away!!! So we visit for about an hour and then head over to the church for the memorial service where Rich's uncle is the pastor. It was really great, his grandpa was in the Air Force in World War II so they did the whole flag presentation and the 21 gun salute and the bugler played Taps... needless to say there were tears! Then they asked if anyone had any memeories to share and after most of the 10 brothers and sisters his grandpa had spoke, Rich's cousin went up there and... MORE TEARS! I did realize though that he looks a lot like Val Kilmer... Then they had a little luncheon there at the church and we all sat around and talked. There are these drawings in the church we were looking at and I laughed because the artists name was Milo! I got a text from Kevin Rich's other cousin, the one with the six kids that lives there on the same property as her parents is pregnant again! She has a 16, 13, 9, 6, 3, 2, and one on the way and she home schools them... The 16 year ols was telling me that she is learning algebra right now on video and I was like... I took it twice with a real teacher and I STILL don't get it! So we hang out and Rich took the kids for a walk down their property to an Indian Cave and then we had dinner altogether and we finally left there around 7pm to head back to Bette's for the night. We get to Bette's around 11 pm and put my son to bed since he was asleep already, and then visit some more and then decide we are gonna go pass out too... woke up, got a text from my sweetie and we had breakfast and then packed and then we went downtown to old Scottsdale to the Indian shops there and looked around and got the kids some souveniers and some lunch and then we went back to Bette's for a little while and then got back in the car for the 6.5 hour drive home. Needless to say, we now are quite familiar with every rest stop from here to Phoenix since my son needed to use the bathroom every 5 minutes! Waved on my way back through 29 Palms again and we stopped in Blythe at a Del Taco for dinner where some teenage boy took a picture of my daughter with his cell phone and there were like 2o kids out there about 14 or 15 years old skateboarding in the parking lot... We got home at 10:45 last night and my sister even cleaned the house while I was gone So I got 12 pages written, but I'm sure that typed it's only like 5 and I type sooooooooooooooo slowly anyway... but I worked on it, I promise... SO glad to be home again! Yay! Hugs, Viv

Well, I'm officially outta here in 9 hours until late Tuesday night or perhaps early Wednesday morning the way Rich drives. We're off to Arizona for the funeral and to retrieve our long lost 10 year old! My son FINALLY asked yesterday if we were going to go pick her up soon and he was sad today that she didn't call him last night like she has been to say goodnight... I know, I'll pause for the mushy awwwwwwwwwww! My entry is in to Kitty for the spring anthology and it's Matty approved, Eric repaired, and Davey titled... so I think we're good to go now. Thanks to the boys! I guess since I'll have 21 long hours on the road as a passenger, I'll have all kinds of time to get chapter 18 written... I may be texting my sweetie like crazy when I get stuck but I can deal with that! Oooooh! and I'm excited about this little side project I'm helping out on, and it seems to be coming together wonderfully! So yay about that too! Also, in chat tonight... we decided there needs to be a petition started! About pizza delivery boys. As per the discussion in chat, the following is requested of all pizza shop owners: Only CUTE delivery boys allowed. Only allowed to dress from waist up. Allowed a half hour to get aquainted (unless they want to stay longer) which they will If they decide to stay, you will deliver their final check with the next pizza order, cause by then we will be starving. And the guy delivering it must be CUTE, see above! Any more points, post them with your signature below... I fully support this and will be the first to sign it! Hugs, see you Wednesday... and behave! Vivian PS. Davey BETTER take it easy and Eric is the MASTER of making beautiful music! Swoon!

So much to say and I have no idea where to begin... I guess I'll go back to Monday and start there. So I woke up feeling like some dumbass guy had his fists inside my stomach and was opening and then clenching shut his hands and that I might just vomit at any moment... so apparently I was fortunate enough to get whatever my son had... thanks go out to the little guy who lays on my pillow and drinks out of my cup.... Rich told me to call in sick, which I never do, like in the last 9 years I've worked there I have called in twice, once cause my mom died and once cause I really was so sick. But I told him I couldn't, that I had to go cause I had a big meetimg to go to with Randy and it was his first day back after being out on disability for a month. He had to have surgery to remove a cyst the size of a golf ball from his upper ass crack, and yes it's okay to laugh and no I'm not kidding So I get to work just as he is walking out and we leave to the meeting. So on the way to his truck he says, "How have you been?" and I reply, "Good, but I'm trying not to vomit right now." He says, "Oh no!" So we get in his truck and he says, "You're not gonna barf in my truck are you?" and I tell him I'll let him know, ugh! So as we're driving he is telling me about his surgery and his recovery and he says, "I missed you while I was gone, I didn't miss everyone, but you were on the list." Awwwwwwwwwwww, giggle. So I say, "Well, it's not like you would have seen me anyway since apparently I work all nights now and he says, "I gotta look at that schedule!" If we're keeping count here, I think that's at least 2 points for me already... so we get to the meeting and he is chowing down on this bowl of candy and he offers me some and I tell him I REALLY don't think that's a good idea in my 'begging my body not to vomit state' in front of all his director friends and his boss... so anyway we make it through the meeting and back to the store without any vomitting, thank golly, and as we're walking in he says, "You look really pale, maybe you should go home"... so I say, "Really, cause that would be great since I'm supposed to be here until 9pm and it's only 2 now." So he says, 'Well, hang on, lemme tell Wendy." Wendy is the girl I don't really get along with, gasp, because she is selfish and I have to do her job for her plus my own and she doesn't like me cause all the guys do... whatever. So we walk in the office and he tells Wendy in a way that makes it sound like it could be up to her that he thinks there is enough coverage and that they could send me home and she suggests back that instead he send someone else who would be off earlier home instead and he says, 'Well, she's sick." That earned me the look of death from her and I walked out. I swear it was like... 'she has only spent 2 hours with him and already he is doing whatever she wants'. So a minute later he comes out and says go home I think that's worth like... 20 points! My daughter is with Bette and two days into it Bette calls to tell me her daughter who is 16 had a friend who is also 16 who commited suicide and she wasnts to know how much she should say or how to deal with it with my daughter. I tell her that death os nothing new to her sadly, and to just tell my daughter that her daughter's friend died and she doesn't need to know why or how... ugh! Today at work, Loss Prevention was all over the place and a girl who I have worked with for a couple years there was eventually escorted out of the store after 2 hours in the office with the LP guys... sigh! My son said the cutest thing the other morning so I totally forgive him for getting me sick... I was helping him get dressed for school one morning and Rich walked in and said, "Shorts! Tell Mama she is crazy!" and my son said, "No Dad, she's my girl." Anyway, I realized today that I have all day off tomorrow and most of Friday except a tiny 4 hour shift late in the evening and then 4 DAYS, 4 whole days of in a row... too bad 21 hours of that will be spent driving, and that it only happened because we are going to a funeral, and to answer Kevin's question, Rich;s Grandpa was cremated and there was another memorial somewhere else in the country first so that's why it was so long after he died. I have to admit that I haven't even started the next chapter of FBTE, but that's becuase I have been writing like crazy, trying to finish the entry for the spring anthology which is almost done and I am so loving it! But as soon as I finish it it's back to FBTE and apparently I will have 21 hours in the car to write Hugs to everyone, and an extra to Kurtie for being so brave! Viv

Well, I'm going to try and explain the last three hours of my night to you  Rich got home from work two hours late cause he stayed after to help his boss try to set up some computer thingy and then we decided that the trip to Costco would have to wait since it was way past dinner time... cause we all know how I feel about Costco. So, Tony decides we should go to Chili's for dinner and we all pile in my car and Rich is driving and he passed the driveway to the restaurant on accident so he goes up to the light and turns left to go in another driveway and then there are lights flashing behind us so Rich says... Shit, I'm getting pulled over, what did I do???... and looks for a place to stop that's safe while I am saying... You are SO getting a haircut! The policeman comes to the window, flashlight in hand and does the whole... Do you know why I pulled you over? speech. So Rich says no and the cop says... Well your brakelight in your back window is out, did you know that? and Rich tells him no. Can I see your drivers lisence please So then he says... Are any of you on probation or paroll or have any warrants? Ummm, HELL no! So Tony is in the backseat telling my son to wave at the policemen on each side of my car. The cop asks Rich who we all are and he says my wife, my son, and my brother in law... Again, are any of us on probation or paroll... I thought we covered that already but again NO!!, but I say... No, but I do sell Girl Scout Cookies see prior incident... So the cop says okay, goodnight and I thank him for pointing out that the light was out and we FINALLY get to the restaurant. As if that wasn't enough... we put our name on the list for a table for 4 and wait the 20 to 25 minutes for a table and Rich had left the restaurant for a second to put some jackets in the car. Tony had my son on his shoulders for a few minutes and then my son said he wanted to get down so he was standing on the bench we were sitting on behind us and the next thing I know... my son throws up all over everywhere It's on my pants, my jacket, Tony's pants, his own clothes, the floor, and the bench we were sititng on! So Tony grabs him and takes him outside leaving me standing there covered in vomit and then they say... Richard party of 4... UGH! So I say, that's us, although now I'm standing alone waiting for the poor guy who has to clean this all up who was so, SO nice about it and they tell us that they will wait for us and we went back home to change. Once we are all dressed... AGAIN... we get back in the car and joke all the way there about getting pulled over again... before we walk back in and sit down to eat. My son was fine after that so we went back, otherwise we would have stayed home, but he seemed fine so... Now then... if you survived all that... heheheh! So, Myr has given me my own little space here at GA and Rich made me a web page. You can see it here... http://members.gayauthors.org/viv/index.html Thanks Myr... So, I guess this is my 70th entry... WOW! The next chapter will be out soon, as soon as I can quit stalling and just finish it already but I swear it will be in the next day or two. Hugs everyone, extra ones for my sweetie and his family Vivian
