What a traumatic experience for young Dechen, and Giles too. Young scheming minds just don’t stop to think of the true consequences to their victims or themselves as they selfishly come up with these ideas. In my last year of high school, we had the school marching band gathering in the parking lot for inspection and warmups; prior to loading on buses taking us to the football stadium for our Friday night game. As drum major I was very much involved and helped coordinate between the director and the members. I believe jealousy lead to a hoax emergency phone call via the front entrance area pay phone (before the days of cell phones), with an student messenger staged to alert me to the call. The caller then informed me excitedly of a family emergency and the need to quickly return home, as he was a distant neighbor to our family home. I informed the director and was off in a dash, rather surprising my mom when I showed up excitedly worried with what’s going on…what happened! I rushed, too quickly and picking up a police car following, as I returned to my school and duties having realizing the hoax. I was still in time, foiling their plans to remove me from my position in a very notable absence. The director, the general assembly, and our uniforms I believe helped in getting me a quick warning verses a public humiliation of ticketing me in front of, and delaying our formation. Needless to say I wasn’t focused that night but I did get past it. Unfortunately the anonymous phone messenger, the denying neighbor classmate, and the real perpetrators went unpunished, but from their prospective perhaps the police involvement was vague enough to have them all a little nervous too, as they didn’t know the full extent of mine and the directors conversation with the officer as I returned to school. Ahhh, the simple workings of young simple minds….sadly smh.

It may be that the innocence of Jojo possibly opened the eyes of mom. To suspect and/or learn from the first child doesn’t condemn us to repeat errors for the second. Therefore, the reality check was to take action before Jojo too was tainted by this abuser. Too long had she turned a blind and forgiving eye to this monster possessing her. Now with the help of the her dear brother-in-law and her resilient son, perhaps they can all start the heal; scars will forever mar these victims but healthy healing is still possible. Paul couldn’t accept Arthur…or was it himself, can he now accept George and/or Karl? I don’t know what is worse; that Ciprian out witted the assassins or if Vincent would have entered at the finale’ of the act. These boys are enjoying the crafts with their high capacity hot stick glue guns but knowing where to feed the sticks to get the bonds desired seems to be a challenge. But practice makes perfect and it seems obvious these boys intent to do just that…practice, practice, practice. It seems to be helping that more friends are shared now and have knowledge of their crafting activities. If Jonathan gains confidence in his crafting partnership then we may soon see beautiful expressions of their activities; and more publicly. A road trip still awaits them…hahaha
