Ok…Who is on first? Exactly!

Wow, so much deceit and deception. Has Morgana been vanquished by death or merely forced into an undesired transformation? Hopefully Thade will bring clarity in the aftermath of this entrapped battle the young had to endure. The Knights Bastian and Sage have become pivotal in this battle for the return of rightful reign; the underlying doubts in returning the sword evaporated into courage as they witnessed the transformation, then leapt into action against the legendary foe.

As with the Mishith that are incomplete without their other half, Mira and Shay certainly understand that feeling as they have an insatiable urge to become one…or at least to enjoy trying! 😊 Hmmm 🤔, a little one? A family? Miracle Jr? True to the Hartley name, Tytos Hartley is every bit as power hungry, but with vastly more resources. Now we have him standing at an ancient control console, much the way we saw a Hartley try to steal the aqumi node at the capital from Shay. Aqumi in the hands of a Hartley is almost as scary as the Enemy. Under the Enemy’s control you become a mindless slave to the master, losing humanity and awareness. Under Hartley you’d become a tortured human soul, every bit the slave but with the awareness of endless torture. Liberty lives! Much the way Shay liberated Mira, Liberty appears to be liberated but with a sense of belonging; hopefully that’s true and we can see more benefits of that relationship. The Herald is reconstituted and back hot on the trail of Shay; will Shay figure out the new gifts 🎁 before the Herald demonstrates the adaptive learning of the Enemy? Earth has been invaded, Hartley stands before an aqumi node, and the Herald has materialized amongst the lifeboat and command vessel that the ancients put all their faith for survival of our universe in. Wow; suspenseful doesn’t even begin to explain the momentum within this multi-layered series! @Stellar, thank you so very much for sharing this labor of love and all that it takes to bring this story to us!

Chapter 29: The Vampire Killer
Philippe commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 29: The Vampire Killer
If the ideal on 21 more chapters does result in a happy dance then perhaps Deadnus is the bedfellow for you! The statement of if only Graham could be Vincent’s mentor hints of promise that indeed there is hope for Vincent yet. Yes, Vinicius had great advise, with amazing foresight. Perhaps his talks to young Vincent were more impactful than anyone could ever know, and thru Dani perhaps Vinicius thru Graham and Dani is still having that impact today. -
Insane??? No, but living dangerously, YES. Anyone that clandestinely attacks the first and only council kingdom’s leaders, in the name of fighting a tyrant, while hopeful to gain help in eliminating said tyrant, and by undermining possibly the kingdom’s if not the world’s most powerful magik wielder is definitely touched; Kalian did ask him to defend why he shouldn’t be executed RIGHT NOW for giving every indication of intent to kill him; yes, he is insane…and lacking social graces too. @Geemeedee, in honor of Eon and Wren’s relationship, why would your desired matchup of Loren and Suman be any less traumatic…ahem, I mean meaningful; oh goodness are the days of the gatherings of “uncles” going to drive Kalian crazy while entertaining Wyn. Even Talon may join Wren in sharpening the knives. Ironically, the extreme matchup of the Princes of Light and Dark seems tame compared to that of Eon/Wren and the possibility of Loren/Suman. Is this a mashup of The Addams Family and The Munsters? Hahaha 🤣

My Truth by Ann Marie’s Mom Mirror, mirror on the wall, show blind and ignorant reality of all, truth as it should be, please show this to me. ….No, no, don’t show me what they’ve done, show them my truth or you be gone!

Not intending to hurt yourself doesn’t normally require an exposed blade near your arm. Karl has amazing timing to keep interrupting George, but now through this accident, he can see that his actions can be resulting in other being/getting hurt. The irony of depression, I wanted to kill myself, but please don’t tell the Hopkins… So yes, we may have a breakthrough in that George can start thinking beyond his own internalized depression. I think Karl is exactly what George needs; naivety that demands explanation, and explanation that requires thought and patience to communicate. Yet Karl is vested enough to not run away from George’s scary actions and by giving blood to save “not a friend” from his own foolhardy death wish. Whether Karl understands blood brother or not is kinda irrelevant as George is now talking more levelheaded and with a rational fear, without screaming; promising signs for moving towards a healthier perspective.

We in the Galactic already have a “few” with the council that try to “respect” the resources…but the majority thinks we have found a pirates treasure of resources to be harvested at will; now you bear witness to an unknown alien species laying claim to our booty? Yeah, an unexpected development…that’s sure to get slow rolled in diplomatic haggling…until the superior forces show up and establish habitat and no share protocols. Obviously having no concept of first contact diplomacy, or even self preservation when assuming the alien race has no defensive capabilities, or superior forces; and let alone the little pet velociraptor that can probably incite pack defensive reactions by pure instincts found within herds. Maybe Essell and Garjah need to establish a pack for bouncer; now that’s a security force with some teeth to it!

What a baby, continuously wailing, whimpering, and whining for others to figure out its needs; what you’d expect from the infant but not the Dleth Crown Prince. I’m not sure he proved a case for why he should have been spared. His one redeeming quality was protecting the teen and the infant of magik. While Suman is quiet crazy, the King is completely and utterly insane for power and control. Ironic that he should feel superior to one Prince, if not two Princes, that actually have the power he can never possess through his reign of terror; Suman has much to learn, but can he comprehend…

Oh goodness, the psychiatrist hasn’t been able to break George’s death wish and now poor Karl get punished for his heroics in rescue, and life saving blood transfusion; poor Karl, that has to be terribly confusing, frustrating, and enough to make him challenge George’s appreciation for others too. Maybe that will be just the distraction George needs to… take his hands, grab his ears, and pull his head from his a$$. Perhaps in the heat of that argument Karl will declare his promise to Jojo and make George climb from his depths of despair 😩 . It’s great to see the independent relationship with Jojo bringing friendship to two deserving young men. Hopefully Karl will start to put his mind at ease as he processes to events and returns to better dreams and rest. If not, I hope George gets the full effect of Karl’s traumatic nightmares and gains more appreciation of what Karl is suffering too. @LittleCherryBlossom26, this is definitely dark, but it gives us a few rays of sunshine the light the path for brighter days…I hope!

Chapter 29: The Vampire Killer
Philippe commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 29: The Vampire Killer
Hmmm 🤔, so Dani is under attack. Is the assassin bad at aim or is it exactly as desired; not fatal targeting and doses could be just the scheme to get Dani secreted away from the school, for his rescue, for his security, just as an excuse to hide him from all but the ones wanting him under their control. Deadnus is an easy assumption for this action, but Uncle Ciprian seemed to have greater plans than those known to Vincient; the sidebar discussion after the awakening was not of reassurance for Vincient reigning without undercurrents and back channeling power. He was rather impatient for Dani’s support and any hesitation meant possibly not joining…therefore enemy. Vincient waved him off to say he and only he, would deal with Dani… TRUST NO ONE Vague prophecies or contextual riddles, did Vinicius betray Romero, or was the King betrayed and blamed for rogue vampire elements….CIPRIAN??? His anti human, vampire dynasty ambitions fit the motive. Likewise, was the human Dahlia killed or turned at the hand of the anti human elements. So much suspicion surrounding Ciprian; has Ciprian again repeated a betrayal to the rightful heir by orchestrating a hit on Dani? @C. Henderson, really? A hit job cliffhanger…from a peaceful ride back and a good dream sleep?? You are twisted and evil 👿! But the story is wickedly good 😊, so I hope you have the twelve days of Christmas written, edited and loaded with auto posting throughout the holidays, for us kids are ready for the wonderful gifting that would be! Hahaha Joyful wishes into the holiday season everyone! -
That’s true, but remember too that, it’s complicated that quiet and naive Karl doesn’t speak much and he doesn’t read nor write; so the learning curve is more of a ruffled curve, and time intensive to learn Karl…with Karl! 😝 The good news is that they have the patience for chess, so learning the Danish alphabet and phonetics from a country boy that doesn’t read or write should be good for many hours of fun; Pictionary with sounds! Hahaha

So we have the confirmation of the boys in the picture, and near testimony of George being Robert’s nephew…if not by blood then of commitment to little brother it would seem; so whether fathered, fostered, or adopted by Lewis, George is doublely family. First by relationship to Lewis and then with a long history with Robert’s side of the Hopkins. Learning more of the tragedy of Lewis’ short life; with war, war bride, George, and the Spanish Flu is great and eager to learn more. Ironically, Lewis died at almost the same age as George is now. George idled by anguish, while in contrast Lewis appeared to have no stops in pursuit of life’s adventures and/or challenges. How much of George’s withdrawal is mommy dearest and how much the internal battle George had for years. From the seemingly skittish and less confident disposition of George’s little brother, we may be witnessing history repeating George’s youthful struggle in home life. No doubts as to why George found comfort with Cousin (but more a brother) Paul. But when did Paul and family finally learn of George’s home and street life? How much do they already know? Waiting for George to say or just too awkward to talk about sexuality(especially in that age in history)? Was mom keeping him away from Robert’s side of the family? Once again Karl shines as a warm supporting soul. Many guests could choose to turn a blind eye, “out of sight, out of mind,” as it provides distance and avoids the awkwardness. As this is, it will be great to learn Karl’s POV on this eventful night, the picture, the strong pains of mental anguish, and how he relates this to sorting his own feelings.

That a-hole is no therapist! Springing such a entrapment apology upon a teen Wolf estranged from an abusive adult (not parent) is unprofessional and against guardianship of the minor! Argh, the timing again is highly suspicious.

The court decision was due to a lack of financial awareness and self determination, but this tantrum, and the emotional refusal to concede anything to the family is a dangerous game for Ann Marie. She could find herself losing all rights and possibly committed into full time psychiatric care…no cabin, no freedom, and no credit card. She is a physical threat to herself and others.
-
It’s a roller coaster ride with George revived, but then subjected to mommy dearest; confessions but still without acceptance. Mom hasn’t changed. George needs to look beyond the mirror to realize he is not being judged as harshly by some others as he is by himself; Mr Hopkins seems to know but not care to the extent of it changing their relationship, and furthermore honors the dead.
-
Oh geez, her home is somehow broken but now mom believes she will bring George back there, as the best and right thing to do; argh, you can’t fix your broken home by just pretending now everything will be ok or that you can just smile to make things better. As the old saying goes… “from the mouths of babes,” Jojo’s body language and overall behavior seems to scream out in defiance of the open and welcoming family dinner. Poor Jojo seems to be caught in the middle with the family concerns of George, but he finds a kindred spirit in Karl as Karl sees and understands what the boy is unable to express outright; the innocence and sincerity in both of these young men is both heartwarming yet heartbreaking; yet, the very nature of it seems to be a milestone of significance for the future. George has familiar family support from the Hopkins, then with the shared blood of these boys, family of one and life blood of the other, will George feel the pull back towards life beyond mourning for Nathan?
-
Hmmm 🤔 talk? In coherent english?? I’m doubting it….now full out BANSHEE, …with reverberations achieving near that of a CHOIR of BANSHEES….YES!!! 😈 Mom! Put away the crystal and any glassware, tape the mirrors and windows; a sonic storm is coming!!
-
Well regardless how mad Ann Marie may be, at least Timothy can enjoy the fact…that she doesn’t talk to him! Hahahaha 😆

Poor Karl, still reeling from the night’s events; becoming more perplexed of those events leading up to the hospital emergency care. What happened to cause this? How could someone…? Why? Why? Why? Though not of war itself, these events have opened Karl’s eyes to the harder reality of the world around him now; blood, death, the fear of pain and loss shared by others thrust in to sharing such unwanted events; it’s a loss of innocence for this sweet young man, but hopefully not so traumatic to cause recurring unrest. Somewhat mentally overwhelmed and in a state of shock, Karl desperately needs comforting and needs to get some sense of control and normalcy back in his life too. Luckily, he realized the need to take nourishment for his own physical health, but poor Karl is drained mentally and physical. Mr Hopkins, Robert, is not in much better shape mental, as he blames himself. We get a hint of George’s relationship as part of the family, but the why and how of the Hopkins’ need for guardianship remains elusive, though surely more understood than Karl being found on the sidewalk. Knowing the levels of care and understanding for mental treatment in years past, I can’t say that Robert’s logic was unfounded. It will also come at a big price in commitment, while hopefully not breaking the family bonds and trust to see George through this. @LittleCherryBlossom26, you’re addressing hard issues, but I like the switching POVs to better define the gravity of this tragedy beyond just George. Good job 👏

So sad, yet so heartwarming. The families are becoming one now even more than before. It’s hard to make good memories with the shadow of the reaper lurking near. Hopefully, Belle may be one of the people whose system fights to put the cancer in remission, but the realistic lookout is to just make and enjoy some good memories while the opportunity remains; and to help prepare legally and emotionally for the day the reaper draws near. 😢 The support and bonding with their newly extended family is what’s so heartwarming, as they become one and share the loss together, the transition to the new reality becomes second nature. Just as Bubbles reluctantly adjusted to the unfamiliar, these kids will already have love and support all along the way! ❤️🩹 ❤️ Yay, Ethan seems to remain stable with Felicia joining the mix; promising indeed.

Regardless the Viking raids and heritage imposed on England in centuries past, this Dane known as Karl came in young, naive, undeniable peace. Even with George being less than friendly, “we are not friends,” the fear and compassion for George runs strong enough to indicate maybe young Karl needs the friend to get better. Karl doesn’t yet understand all these changes, feelings…his and others, but the ache does pull at him and is letting him know things are different with and for him…and/or George. The youth and innocence is just multiplied by the lack of Karl’s communication skills, but yet he still comes thru as a young hero; when he himself is in uncharted waters of language, family, relationships, emergency actions, etc. Karl has every right to be somewhat overwhelmed and to feel extra stress, yet he is still the resilient young lad is Dane father thought him to be. @LittleCherryBlossom26, wow, the emotions, suspense, and drama are coming in waves so ever changing. Great job of keeping it suspenseful and yet heartwarming; who could not love Karl? ❤️

Chapter 27: The Two Scientists
Philippe commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 27: The Two Scientists
Well of course I did, thanks for calling me out so that I may correct that too. With Vinicius at work there is no telling how many DNA splices and extra chromosomes Dani may have; just hoping none are shared with Deadnus! 😝 -
Chapter 27: The Two Scientists
Philippe commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 27: The Two Scientists
“It’s not madness, my friend. It is real. Years of work…all for her.” “If only she were here to witness it, Eric. My biggest regret.” “By granting her wish, her memory continues to live, Vinicius, even when she is gone. Even after we are gone. It is because of her that the revolution will begin,” he said and Vinicius nodded his head. Van Sant continued, “It’s mad, but brilliant. Positively brilliant. This will change everything.” Hmmm 🤔, I’m thinking Edward is not the best at keeping the secrets that Vinicius seemed so skilled at. Edward Graham, continues to run at the mention of the “rebirth” and now “Dahlia” which brings major sensitivities to all the parties. It may be that the keys to what Eric Van Sant knows to be the beginnings of the revolution must not be unveiled until Dani is “unlocked” at eighteen; which arguably questions the logic of Dani having the letter earlier, but then with the state killing and removing threats where else can one assure Dani will receive it? So is he more afraid of letting too much be known or just wickedly freak that Vinicius’ plan is manifesting before his very eyes? Could it be that Dani and Vincent are related? Patience my nephew, your granddaddy was misguided but a brilliant man. We shall remove this stain of Deadnus for as sure as she exterminated your family, she is exterminating the very government she’s bound to protect; a ravenous cancer. 🤣 We need to get ready for one hell of a birthday surprise 🥳 🎂 🎉 🎊 , one has to wonder what other GIFTS Dani may receive on his SPECIAL day. @C. Henderson, how do you personify this Deadnus character without suffering the nausea of the killing field she populates? 😈 -
Given their history with Anders that Kalian, Talon, and the misfits all had, to now have confirmation that this lunatic has been playing with their emotions, while masking his training, abilities, and travels from them begs of high crimes; yet, by hook and crook he is somewhat protected with some claims of diplomatic immunity while visiting, and now in his home country they would jeopardize their own immunity from the crazy king. Argh 😖 Kalian, encapsulate his frontal lobes with your force field and squeeze the consciousness from his demented mind!!! More seriously, where did he train? How much does the King know or suspect? Is the emissary assignment a ruse for the lunatic or for the King? I could see the King pitting the cousins against each other in hopes of ridding himself of two powerful magical folk, but it’s hard to know his end game; unless there is already a true successor secreted away for the maneuvers he has yet to accomplish. Misfits: it’s been seven years and now it seems you’re services shall be called to battle; ahem, get Wyn some battle gear and training, he’s going to interject himself anyway….hahaha
