Yup, George is a dick. He’s not deserving of Karl. The most honorable thing George has done is pushing Karl away…unfortunately too late to prevent allowing Karl to become emotional attached as friend and lover. The Hopkins have obviously adopted Karl as their own, as bonds of the heart are much more powerful than a mere blood bond that remains unsupported by love and compassion. Soak up those hugs with pride Karl! Considering this seems to be a Danish manned Flight within the RAF Squadron, it is surely volunteers. Yet we have the bully that just can’t accept others he deems lessor than him or hasn’t met his approval; a self appointed commander. 🤦‍♂️ Kristian Østergaard seems to be having a…?flashback? association with seeing Karl; 40-50s??, did/does he know dad/brother or has he crossed paths with Karl before…escape boat?? Hmmm 🤔 @LittleCherryBlossom26, an interesting start for the introduction to this new period in the trying time Karl’s life.

Wow 😮, regardless the nativity in intent, drugging anyone at anytime without their knowledge is a huge breach of trust and majorly illegal; then contributing to death even while not intentional is still manslaughter! There is no such thing as legally dosing a person for personal convenience; that is only allowed when it is necessary, in the interest of safety to that person or others, to prevent life threatening actions of self harm or harm to others. No wonder that AM is screwed up. With mom’s advice it’s like the perfect storm of making of a murderer. Bruce is not the only guilty party here and this news if exposed could jeopardize the case against true evil.

As kids we build immunities but not without the price of a few stomachs viruses 🦠 and various bugs to make us have fevers, feel yucky, and puke 🤮. Oh my, these boys really do resemble a cock fight, maneuvering for their best attack while not disclosing their next moves. Not a happy ending, not because of George’s immaturity, but more because of Karl’s imminent departure into danger. George is an ass, no doubt, but we only have a limited perspective. Having my own immature moments in history, I can rejoice that while I hurt my first love terribly, it was not ever so ruthless and stabbing at him personally. I wasn’t ready and able to see where in life I could fit and that made for decisions not truly of and for myself…but what I thought I had to do; it was a big error that gave me, and my love, much different lifes. The good news is that we are still very much friends after a little healing and growth from both of us. There’s much revealed in Paul’s compassionate plea with Richard, it seems Paul has much in common with his cousin…which in turn means Richard and Karl may too have much in common before they ever have their introduction. It’s reassuring that Paul does think so strongly for Karl, but that he also made contact with Richard somewhat begging forgiveness enough that Richard would agree to look after someone he would not so lightly entrust to anyone…it’s a matter of life and death. Which direction will the heart pull? Paul’s relationship with Karl could grow as he follows his progress and development; distance makes the heart grow fonder?? But likewise, Paul would have to improve his relationship with Richard to get such updates. As Karl enjoys the heartfelt hugs and warmth that seem different from his upbringing, his attachment to the Hopkins would seem to be something of a lifetime. No doubt his Danish family loves him, but they seemed to be less affectionate. This familiar bond and common history now with Richard and with Karl should be an interesting dynamic of personal sorts as Karl prepares for war. @LittleCherryBlossom26, I do hope there is a book two in store for us; there is so much left to tell in Karl’s journey in life.

And by being introduced to other Danes Karl will naturally start getting underground news of his country, countrymen, and possibly family.

This chapter…is When Doves Cry 😿 Frustration, Betrayal, Anger, Retrospect, Fortitude, Determination. Karl’s maturity goes from country sheltered, self-preservation, survival of self and others…to global realization; innocence removed with age of the man, and age of the times.

What a Bellowing Blowhard Braggert Belland is, but it makes me think…big muscles, little brain; hardly seems like the mastermind, but if he raised his pups to have his attitude, then you have arrogant, brainy, assholes. Albert is one for strategic maneuvering, with his aire of supremacy watch out for assassins as his wolf may be big but his dirty work is left to those beneath him. One can only hope that Robert is not being deceptive. If Robert is being truthful then the two primary suspects, with their “business” language and secret communiques, are likely to have a dirty money trail that will be hard to cover up once the Sentinels find which loose threads to pull. Chusi may have hit pay dirt in helping find that money trail as the council minutes may very well document their subterfuge. There seems to be some elements of the Sentinels’ power yet to be revealed…and that should prove quite impressive when pushed to the forefront.

I’d workout in the morning if not for peer pressure; they say drinking that early is …too intense??? 🤷‍♂️
