Ahhh, son Mason has only now learned to sense/see ghosts, but it seems he may have had ghost around him long ago. His elder foster “grandmother” may have seen guardian ghost those long years ago. Mason may have an affinity that was previously unrecognized by him. Toby has/had “something” to win their freedom, but was it an item, information, or both; like lost works of art, without info, they can appear worthless. So now the item that Toby valued worthy of their freedom needs to be found or identified as Toby did. But underlying that “something” that would win their freedom is the question of “what gives anyone the power to keep them captive in the first place?” Toby would seem to be the one that was being held, but then again, he lived for and protected Rhys. Even now Rhys is manipulated, but is it for his value directly or the value he may know or hold that was of Toby’s credit? Levine wants Rhys, but in his twisted mind, is it that he believes Rhys will disclose his secrets in drugged pillow talk? This is like an onion with many layers yet to be revealed. With the team now working more closely, I hope they can apply the heat needed to make this onion open up for the core reveal! Another great chapter taking us forward! Thanks @Laura S. Fox!

Interesting start for our newbie freshman William Harker; known to be Mike’s roommate. We know not his or mom’s true name, nor that of his father until given confirmation beyond pen name or whether carrying mom’s maiden name, or other, and what his relationship if any with his father. I also look forward to seeing how he was identified or became known as the “chosen” if indeed William Harker is to be the chosen of prophecy. The path for William appears to have been mapped out, but for how long has it been so, and at what point will he become enlightened to his own destiny. So yes, have have my interest thus far. Thanks for posting and please take us on the complete William Harker journey of transformative trials or to his ascension.

You give a nice prologue for history and context of the prophecy for the storyline to be presented. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of detail and development for this mythical genre.

Woohoo 🙌🏿, Pack Mom kicks ass and rocks! The old alliances were good no doubt, but the building trust now transferring to the next generation seems to not only keep those ties but may be building to more open trust and exchange; that seems huge for the smaller pack and smaller pack Alpha...Alpha(s)?; on the horizon is the goal of bringing shadow mages out; into more respectable and accepted existence. Hmmm 🤔, a shadow mage platoon, with access to distant regions within minutes, lead by an Alpha Wolf mate and with a near secret and an unscented security Lion 🦁; my imagination sees no real obstacles once this movement gets momentum!

Well, it’s not as if the house fell upon the wicked witch Emma, or did it? Now quickly grab the ruby slippers Praveen...ahem, Travis! Hahaha, I love how the arrogance Emma sought to show her friends backfired horribly. Oh, the innocence of children...his name is papa silly! Hmmm, could it be the upcoming marriage celebration is interrupted by an awakening from a long coma induced absence? All opportunities for Bruce and Andrea to build their relationships seem to get undermined by their own resonance of disruption and destruction; will history repeat yet again, one can hope; yet somehow, Antonio seems to be looking for a lifebuoy ring at every turn. So now, six years later, the situation seems rife for a boomerang returning to reveal the turn of the lies that destroyed Praveen, and possibly caused the Almighty to leave the Gonzales household that dark and stormy night. Looking forward to seeing what’s around the next corner!

I’m confused by the Dylan scents in the room (curiosity kills the cat....oops, Nemo?) but yet the concern and support for Jason’s health seems sincere; hmmm 🤔 this could easily be deception or possibly real sincerity. 🤷‍♂️ Unexplained is the bruise and/or knot on Jason’s elbow, with no recollection of origin to explain its existence. Is it natural or introduced for adversarial benefits. I suspect and hope it’s something natural, like allergies to something in his new environment. There is plenty to hold ones interest in this story. The suspense surrounding the main characters in itself is most intriguing. I look forward to the continuing storyline and hope the writing commitment remains strong and perhaps a shorter posting interval; this story deserves follow through. Thanks for sharing!

Oh nice, the backstory to explain Sasha’s relationship with this mother White and Cubs is bound to be a fantastic tale; but does this other Timber Wolf bring the answers?, the identity as Sasha’s pack?, but not that of his Alpha mate’s pack?, these are more riddles to ponder. The innate call of his TimberWolf vs the pack howl he finds more challenging? Being able to scent a pack he doesn’t know, another innate gift to add to Sasha’s riddle of “what kind of wolf am I.” As a mislabeled Alpha, it’s easy to see how Sasha is misunderstood being treated as an omega but his alpha wolf make it an omega with an attitude. With this new alignment of the Alpha Pairs, and the mysterious white wolf and Cubs, I can see this new bond and alliance drawing more whites into a inclusive pack. I’m excited to see how this tale will continue to bring new drama to the Alpha so lucky to be confused at what nature is dealing him and his pack!

OMG, this just goes to show ya that getting “screwed by the man” and then, constantly chastised at home, by your nagging mate, can drive a man absolutely crazy and uncontrollably enraged; he just met his match when he chose a bonded human with a big, bad, rogue wolf as his intended!

Perhaps Fergus filled a necessary void in formality for the pack but he doesn’t appear to be of true Pack Alpha qualities. It’s too bad Jimmy wasn’t the one to find the pack before Fergus tainted the full recognition and acceptance of leadership they desperately need. So now Fergus chooses the less honorable path for Jimmy and for the pack, as he concentrates on making himself more powerful but without demonstrating respect and honor. We had learned earlier that Fergus isn’t likely to respect a human being turned, even if Sawyer has a successful turn, we are on a collision course for an Alpha challenge. Jimmy needs a pack, Jimmy will defend is true mate, and the pack is rife with frustration growing against Alpha Fergus. I don’t see the pack nor the Betas resisting any challenge or claim Jimmy may have for Pack Alpha when the feces meets the fan.

Uh oh, two young fellers come a courting, neither a want’n to sing in public but one a chameleon of friends, or is it two? 😂 I was cooking up my supper when ya posted this chapter. How ironic it was to have ya sharing my favorite, cornbread! lol

Hmmm 🤔, so MeeMee and Sascha both have them leg wounds, and both of them have them deep soul searching eyes just a begging for Billy’s attention. We done got us a ho mesh o issues that ain’t makin any sense. We’ve got bunches of weird things to weed out, ya hear? And MeeMee just appears from way down yonder in Georgia; that is kinda spooky!

Any power of attorney POA can easily be revoked with the institutions holding the accounts. However, at this point, canceling the power of attorney is probably a non-event as Levine probably moved those monies while the POA was in effect. Levine may have pushed for guardianship due to mental status and if done by court action then it must be cancelled by court action; which would probably require a court appointed mental evaluation for the releasing action. The challenge to the validity and accountability of the POA when signed by a mentally incapacitated individual would likewise have to proceed through court proceedings that would take months, however, emergency orders could be issued to provide an allowance until final hearings; any defenses declared for lack of funds would have to show reasonable and necessary expenses while caring for Rhys.

Well...thoughts to consider, did Travis actually have to do anything other than be there to allow them to hang themselves? Interesting possibilities but I believe in many ways the endgame for Travis has been patience to let them choke on their own greed or to be caught in further acts of manipulation. Remember the Mayor’s ball and other high visibility photo opportunities bring bad press; even if they are not directly responsible the industry can have negative attention, and that is never good. The same can be said for both Bruce and Andrea as they have brought negative attention to themselves, Antonio’s company and the products they indorse. Also, as a model, Bruce should not be releasing/endorsing a product line that he has direct interest in; the conflict of interest itself could result in companies seeking fresh models to put a fresh face on their products.

Oh Bruce, Oh Andrea, 🤦‍♂️Farewell, farewell ! Parting is such sweet sorrow, or such we say best and just rewards. Great chapter, I hope Katy brings three wooden stakes for Emma, Bruce, and Andrea as their souls are dead and their hearts are cold, and if involved as I believe then perhaps sharing deaths that are of the vampires will end their pain (or at least everyone else’s)!

Well by DNA I think TJ is not a parent, nor father to Tristan; after all Tristan truly is a Mini-Me to TJ. Hmmm, so Tristan is the younger more youthful TJ that gets to play with the kids that have his exact DNA.

I loved Jonah’s solution, Perhaps Jonah understands his man well enough to know he might be manipulated by John as it could be hard to be rude to his ex; therefore, nothing better than handing the ex his Dear John letter in person. Oh Travis, Praveen, money can’t by you love but surely it could have hired you a good burglar (hobbit?); or maybe the iPhone backup/wipe stolen phone feature?? lol Now with the raw emotions about to reach critical mass, in the presence of Granny, will she become herself? Will the Diablo(devil) couple finally be exposed? What should truly be the correct solution for Antonio; as he doesn’t deserve forgiveness for the evils of his ways, and especially for the things he has done to Praveen. Yet, how do you explain to a child that his father was beyond mercy; and does any mercy warrant the risks and exposures that child would undoubtedly suffer? There is no doubt that Antonio has been internalizing his anger and stress, but his lack of honesty, even with his mother and before Praveen was the precursor to his relationship disasters. Even as a baby crawling in front of the bus, Antonio has always been dangerously independent. Now as the scene is set to explode in the presence of all the family, perhaps the icing on this cake would be the misterous coma patient to return and expose the secrets I believe they carry; ah, could it be the latest revenge from the Diablo twins will backfire into the self inflicted wounds they deserve? So much mystery and intrigue yet to be unveiled...

As sad as it is to say goodbye, they had befriended and prepared the young riders for increasing support and then the inevitable. Even with the end so near, what class it is to see a Gold giving aid to the wounded while they could still support from home. But then as the time to make the final flight arrived, issuing the call to those trusted friends who they knew they could call upon for their own aid, so they could be together as bonded. So as that final page could then show them together one final time, as they lived, and as they fought, and so too did they pair once more to their final flight; so majestically and prideful of the life they had together. Tears, tears, and more tears...

A long, long time ago, my little sister being 6-1/2 years my junior was working on a puzzle laid out on the floor. She had all the pieces turned face up and was progressing a fair bit, but her frustration was oblivious. At that point I noticed scissors nearby; asking her why she had the scissors out, her reply was simple, “some pieces don’t fit!” Imagine my urge to bust out in full laughter! But of course, I pointed out that I had never known the puzzles to not come with all the correct pieces, and none left over. She sighed and asked if I was sure. Hahaha All the senses of every echo, flavor, odor, texture, and brilliance are not to be overlooked with @Laura S. Fox, they usually have a place and only truly fit correctly when observing with all available senses. Though perhaps new to the genre, those constructs are integral to your stories and style. I’m enjoying this story with all the same enthusiasm your stories always seem to capture. Bravo, now andale andale arriba arriba; write, write, write!

Yes, we need answers; though I believe you’ve given a pretty big hint within the chapter. Either way, the ordeal is definitely not over and in fact I believe it is working up to a crescendo of conflict; internal to Jimmy and Sawyer both, but external with Fergus. Fergus is unaware of the human relationship Jimmy has, a gay, human, male, relationship; and now a rogue turned gay human wolf abomination; and Fergus is still unaware, and his pack rogue is too close especially given his night of family stresses and those rogue activities. Of immediate concern is this night of recovery, of survival, and the strength test of the magic gift within the turn; only the blessed few make the full turn to wolf. So we now sit on a tough night, a night delivered of weekly tales, that of a seven days night; an expression that revisited me as I thought to calming my inner wolf to wait and observe this normal behavior. Dang, seven days night, a sennight; arrrgh, this is frustrating! in the OED's definition, it means “a period of seven (days and) nights; a week.” So a “sennight” is the same thing as a week. The term is derived from the Old English words seofon (seven) and nihta (nights), and it was originally written as two words.

We can only hope the mounting pressure does not leave us scatter brained, such an event could leave our emotions cratered. The real release should lift spirits in a plume of unbound atomic excitement!
