  1. Oh, I'm so excited! I started to read them now, so I'll probably be up late...well worth it, though! Thank you, Renee, and the whole antho team for bringing us these awesome stories, and thank you to the wonderful authors for writing such awesome stories and poems. And, Mann, the banner is terrific!

    Letter From Tom

Ah, first review! Wow, Emi, that was sure creepy! lol Can we say 'obsessed'? Jeez, Tom was so obsessed with Tim. He chose the college, dorm room, parties, etc., etc. And Tim was totally oblivious to how Tom felt. Now Tim will carry around that guilt for the rest of his life. Great story, Emi. Maybe you can continue it...(hint, hint!! )
  3. They had music videos in the 70s???? lol Was that when MTV was all music? And Chris Issak. Mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm. I used to listen to Wicked Game all the time. What a fantastic song. I liked your poetry, Dolores.

    Adam

I love that you're continuing with this story, Addy! Poor Adam - what a horrible thing to have to watch his mother die. Then he's beaten up and taken away from Oliver. I can't wait until the next antho, so you can write more about A&Z.

    Chapter 12

It was an interesting thought Spikey had about whatever happened to Shane relating back to TMM. I would never have thought of that. What Jason did ruined TMM's life at the time, as well as Shane's. I was surprised at his father's reaction to what he did. I thought his reaction was perfect though. I was afraid he was going to be one of those asshole homophobes like Shane's father and stupid cousin. I was pleasantly surprised. I think he hurt Jason more by saying how he was ashamed of him and ashamed to be his father. This was another wonderfully emotional chapter, Mitchelll. Now we have to see what Denise is up to. I know Jason is in no mood to deal with her at that moment. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next.

    Chapter 11

Wow. I'm just speechless. Jason did a horrible thing by outing Shane (and Thomas Mutherfucking McAlpin (TMM)), and by the physical violence toward both of them, but his words hurt much more than his physical violence. To lash out like that, calling Shane those horrible names will stay with the both of them forever. No "I'm sorry" will take away the hurt he caused Shane. That green-eyed monster is the root of all evil. lol It was obvious from Jason's exchange with TMM in the library that Shane complained to TMM about Jason never being around. It seemed like TMM was being a doting friend to Shane. He seemed so warm and loving when he was talking about Shane to Jason. Maybe he really does have feelings for Shane; maybe he's not as horrible as Jason made him out to be. But then of course at the end of the last chapter he couldn't wait to "deflower" an innocent boy like Shane. So who knows. I just don't think there's any coming back from what Jason did. The damage is too much.
  7. Well, I'm relieved Trey seems ok with Mark. Maybe Trey fears Mark not wanting/loving him anymore because he got hurt. I hope when he sees all Mark did for him it'll squash his fears. I can't wait for the next chapter, Renee, but I'm sad it'll be the last one!!!
  8. Ugh, now my heart's in my mouth! I'm all anxious for Mark! Why is Trey acting so distant? Why are his calls shorter and shorter? Could it be just his injury and the pain meds? I hope once Trey sees all the trouble Mark went through to make him feel comfortable at home, he'll feel better. I don't mind the mean (yes! mean! lol) cliffie, because I have the next chapter right here. lol

    Chapter 18

I finally caught up! I was so sad to see your note at the beginning of the chapter that this would be the last chapter. And then those horrid two words at the end: lol The End. This was such a wonderful story (as all your stories are!) Like Shade, I'm a huge fan. I think I read the majority of your stories on your site. I'll have to go back and check now. I know it wasn't in this chapter, but the scene where they are all in the bathroom, sitting in protest, and poor Colton had to go use the bathroom, omg, that was hilarious! The poor kid! lol I also give kudos to Mrs. Oliver because after all, she's an older woman with nothing to sit on or lie on but the hard tile floor. It was really beautiful how kids really came to Tiffany's side, even the ones who at first belittled her. It made me cry to think now she has actual friends and others who support her. What a relief it must be for her to be able to walk into school and not feel people staring at her--to be able to walk into class and not hear other kids mocking her. She was always so brave, and her courage got her through all those horrible days when she was treated so poorly. I'm glad Mrs. Edwards finally came through for the kids. It was nice of her to share her bathroom with others who felt uncomfortable using the students' bathrooms. The real point though, was when she let the kids know she included a new bathroom in the budget for the following year. I think a unisex bathroom would solve all the problems with this current debate. I totally understand that trans people should use the bathroom with which gender they identify. But I'm also be afraid that many sickos would use this as an excuse to gain access to women's bathrooms for the sole purpose of harming them. It was wonderful that Bobby was finally learning that nothing is wrong with him, and he is not a sinner. His new church and its pastor were the complete opposite of his sick sperm donor. And his birth giver? It is incomprehensible to know this woman who gave birth to a baby and raised this baby through childhood into young adulthood can totally abandon him and take off with her horrid husband. They should both rot in hell. Bobby is so much better off without them, but how horrible he must feel knowing his "parents" don't want him/love him? Anyway...I'm rambling. This was another terrific story, Ron! I see you're posting A Delicate Situation, another wonderful story!
  10. I agree with Puppi and Tim regarding Cory even being at work. How can he possibly counsel someone else when he needs a counselor of his own? Of course he's going to feel a lack of confidence; his life has completely went to the dogs, so to speak. I also liked how the ICU floor was cheerful and bright. Totally the opposite of Cory's mood. And of course John Lawson's mood. So, so curious regarding the charges against Lawson. I mean, even the guard felt sorry for him! Too bad that guard wasn't one of the ones outside the bathroom door the night before! Another awesome chapter, Cole! Like AC, I am also hooked!! Totally agree with Cory about Sandy AND CASEY betraying him like that. It was a total betrayal, and they should really be ashamed of themselves.

    Third Shift

I forgot to add in my last review that Sandy left TWO DAYS BEFORE VALENTINE'S DAY!!! What a shit! Jesus, did Casey never hear of the bro-code?????
  12. Wait, wasn't Cory's second bit of bad news embroiled in his first bit? Sandy and CASEY? So he lost his life partner and his best friend, all in one goodbye note. "Your friend, Sandy" OUCH!!!!! In my eyes, his three bad things came in at four. So whoever beat John Lawson up must have of course believed he was guilty of what the courts said he was guilty of. Don't they only beat up others if they're like a child molester, a pedo (the same as a molester?), an animal abuser...? Hopefully, Cory won't burden himself with feeling guilty about Simon Peter. He already has too much to worry about.
  13. I, for one, are dying to know what John Lawson is accused of and what he actually did!! I have my ideas, so it'll be interesting to find out how off base I am! Hmm, falling asleep in your office, huh. I guess it happens. A lot, doubtful. Cory, Cory, Cory...he it too blinded by love to see what's in front of him (no, not John Lawson's ample crotch! ). The writing's on the wall for Cory; he just doesn't see it yet.
  14. CONGRATS, on being featured, RJ! I loved London in Love. I love the way RJ writes; all his stories are just so poetic, and the characters and dialogue just flow beautifully. I would definitely recommend this story (and all his stories) to anyone who hasn't read him yet.
  15. I will admit, I know nothing about Simon Peter. I'm assuming the verse was from The Bible? A red flag went up as soon as Cory walked into the bedroom and saw Sandy was on the phone. It was the momentary look of anger Sandy gave him that warning bells went off in my mind. Then of course he was "working late" and dealing with the plumber fixing his "pipes" all night. Too bad Cory is clueless.
  16. Awesome beginning, Cole! I'm sitting at the edge of my seat, already biting my nails! What a set-up for that huge storm! And Gordon Lightfoot's Edmund Fitzgerald song! Omg, my kid was playing that on his guitar last year! lol Ok, on to the first chapter.
  17. Erik reminded Twoey to shut his phone off. God forbid any of Twoey's OTHER friends try to call him!! He's totally smothering Twoey and alienating him from his friends. Twoey doesn't see this though because he's so wrapped up in Erik (haha, pun so not intended! ). I also thought about the condom. I think Twoey was just so 'taken' (hehe, I'm having such fun with this! ) with what Erik was doing, he didn't even THINK about practicing safe sex. As for Lanni -- I'm glad she's smart enough to know that Cal is totally bullshitting her. Come on! He's falling in love with her? He really thinks she's so gullible that she'll believe that crap? lol Idiot. Not for nothing, but if one of my kids had a girlfriend who was over every single day, all afternoon long, and stayed every single night for dinner, I'd be climbing the walls! Well, I don't cook every single night because I work late a few times a week, but still, then I'd have to get food for her too? Jeez, who can afford all that? lol Aunt Sarah is wonderful, I tell you. Of course David's dad is still in Zombieland, or maybe he's just vacationing in Skinnyland! Awesome chapter, Skinny!
  18. CONGRATULATIONS, ALBERT!!! Like LBO, your Secret Santa story really touched me (I still tear up when thinking about it), and I'm definitely adding your stories to my reading list.
  19. I forgot to mention something in the last chapter: Lanni - don't walk away from Cal - RUN!!!!! So she has NO IDEA what a cheating asshole he is???? Hopefully Deena can set her straight! Now I am pretty dense. Really dense. When I was reading the chapter, I kept thinking of Josiah fucking Coulton and the kid with no name being hanged (hung?) and thrown down the hole. Courtesy of Uncle John and David's grandpa, playing Cierco (did I spell that right?) But maybe...it means PPF and TWWSFRN will meet their untimely demise soon. Hmmm, confusion ensues. For me at least! Well, and David. I guess I'm in good company then! So...I had to laugh...Twoey reprimands Erik for calling him babe -- he thinks it's too feminine. Funny, there are so many stories I've read that the b/fs are always calling each other baby. lol Anyway, so Twoey thinks that word is too girly. Ok then, so why the HELL is he letting ERIK WALK HIM TO EVERY SINGLE FUCKING CLASS??? LIKE A GIRL!!!!! lol And seriously, Erik has to WATCH Twoey in the shower so he can walk him to the other gym???? Obsessed much or he just doesn't trust Twoey around other naked boys? What does he think? Twoey's gonna be getting his freak on with some boy in the shower? lol Another hella awesome chapter, Skinny!
  20. Thank God David will Google vixere! Maybe Gary did too! Glad Carl and Jess did already! I'm too tired to think, so I'll wait for David to figure it out. Luckily, David time is my time anytime since I'm so far behind! (Did that even make sense? lol) I am very curious to find out why David won't have to worry about Josiah fucking Coulton and that other asswipe getting out of jail. I also wonder what David's dreams of Burch and fishes are all about. Of course, Burch is now swimming with the fishes. lol Loved hearing things from Randy's pov - he's an interesting boy. Can't wait to see what comes next!
  21. I think horny Mel and horny Alex should get together and go bowling. Alex is way too smothering and domineering. Yes, David seems to just 'go with the flow' and not really think about it (as everyone has mentioned). David has no private time now, not even TOMMY time!!!!, because Alex is taking up every single second he has! Why hasn't Aunt Sarah asked David if Alex is homeless? lol She's practically LIVING there! I also agree with others who have said that sooner or later she's gonna know something's up. (Ha! No pun intended!! ) She does have a gay brother, after all. David is too good of a guy -- off to the big house for all those assholes!! Let them all become Big Daddy's beyotches! Seriously though, they need to be punished as adults; they are old enough to know what they were doing was wrong. How can you be so brainwashed that you would not realize that HITTING SOMEONE WITH A FUCKING BAT CAN DO SERIOUS DAMAGE??!! David definitely needs some meditation time. He needs to get rid of Alex for a while just so he can meditate and try to clear his mind. He needs another ally. Who will it be this time? lol Only the people in Skinnyland know. And Twoey/Erik...I'm glad Twoey didn't buy that line of bullshit Erik was feeding him about why he didn't stop and say hi to David. I wish David would have called Twoey. Maybe tomorrow (David time). And YAY!!!! for Uncle John!!!!! A big fat check is wonderful, but not as wonderful as David's avengement (hmm, that's not a word, huh?). Burch drowning in a toilet anyone? lol
  22. CONGRATS, GARY for SaD being featured!! Awesome review, Lit!! I'm so bad; I didn't even finish CotT yet. But I really liked Chet, so I do need to read this also. Gary is such a great author who knows just how to bring out the emotions in his readers. Congrats again, Gary!!!
  23. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY GRAEME!!!!! I hope you had a terrific day!
  24. HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLE!!!!! I hope you're having a terrific day!

    Chapter 14

I've been catching up with this story on my phone. Now I'm all caught up. Well, I totally did not see that coming with Bobby's birthgiver. She does deserve to go to the big house though, that's for sure! But Mrs. Oliver????? No way!! I would have done more with my foot/cane than she did! Hopefully they won't put the asshat pastor's wife in the same cell as Mrs. Oliver! I'm so glad that Colton's father didn't flip out. I think he will be a big help to the school. Another awesome chapter, Ron!
