Doc Walker certainly is a smart doc. He knows exactly what to say to A&M to get them thinking. The important thing here is the communication, or lack of, between A&M. They need to talk and resolve this whole thing before it blows up in their faces.
-
Love Doc Walker. He knows exactly what to say to Andy, using Andy's own words to make him think harder. I think Andy's finally realizing that Matt only had sex with him to help him and prevent him from hurting himself, not for the sake of having sex to have sex. But what Walker said was so true. Andy has to be a friend to Matt, and continue the way they were before all this sex stuff got in their way. He has to respect Matt's wishes if he wants to keep him as his best friend.
-
Matt is just so confused about everything. He doesn't want to be tied down, he's also interested in having relationships with girls, he doesn't want to hurt Andy's feelings... I think the most important thing about A&M is that they don't lose their wonderful friendship. So many things can happen once sex gets involved, different emotions come into play, one wants a commitment, the other doesn't...I would hate to see their friendship take a downward turn b/c of this.

"Does this count as a threesome?" - that had me lol'ing. Colt's parents are just as cool as Thomas', Matt's, and Andy's; they're all so accepting it's wonderful. I wonder why Andy was being such an ass to everyone at the lunch table. He even KNEW he was being an ass.
-
I loved the scene where Matt showed Kutcher up at his locker. Kutcher's such an ass, and it was cool the way his own friends started teasing him after Matt kissed him. Woulda been great if Matt actually did throw up after. Well, the elections went pretty much how Matt thought they would - no great surprise there. But now he can concentrate on doing better for next year.

RuPaul has such a great voice. I don't remember ever seeing him performing before. I've seen him interviewed as his real self (I don't even remember his real name! ), and I've always liked his personality. This was a great video, Menace. I laughed when I saw RuTube - so cute!

Jason's mother is so controlling, how does he stand it? Now he has to go back to the place where he ran away from. As Cannd said, will he have the guts to leave it again? I did have a stupid question about how long Jason was in the hospital. Dr. Werth told him he'd been in the hospital for seven weeks, then Colleen told him she'd been watching over him for nine weeks, so I was just a little confused about that. Ok, on to chapter two!

What a great prologue, Krista! I'm so excited you have a new story!!

I Get Weak is such a fantastic song. It totally captures the emotions of when you're in love, or even just crushing on someone.

I, too, was wondering why Silas just took off after coming face-to-face with his brother, especially after reading Ian's back story. I understand that Silas was upset that Ian never tried to contact him, and Ian should have, but I would have thought that Silas would run into his arms, thankful he found him. Oh, and maybe Ian DID try to contact Silas, but his "parents" (and I use that term VERY loosely), intercepted the letters and threw them away. Maybe Ian has been wondering why Silas never wrote back or something. Just a thought... But maybe you're right. He's been on the road alone so much for the past few years, maybe running away is just second nature to him. I did like Chelsea and thought she'd be a good ally. Too bad he took off though. Love, love, love Addy!!!! She steals the chapter!

"but your husband was a well-known", Shouldn't that be "but your husband was well known," ? If, for example, he was a well-known author, then he could say 'a well-known author'. See what I mean? Also, shouldn't well known be written without the hyphen, because it comes after the noun it modifies (husband)? I thought you use the hyphen when the word comes before the noun it modifies, not after. At any rate, Cia, as I told you before, I'm cancelling my subscription to CMoS and calling you CiaGoogle. Thank you so much for the affect/effect information. I know Val was probably reading that part and laughing, because I changed the correct word to the incorrect word in one of her chapters. Luckily she caught me on that! I bowed my head in shame. I absolutely LOVE these posts! Keep 'em coming, Cia! -
You have me hooked with the first chapter of Navigator. I was so disappointed when I got to the end of the chapter and there weren't any more! I'll have to definitely check out your other stories. Welcome to GA, Cynus.

This was another emotional story, James. I can see how what happened put the narrator into an emotional roller-coaster filled with drugs as a way to try and forget what happened. Kudos to the narrator for being able to open up to the NA support group, his sponsor, the priest, etc. I think the first step in healing (besides admitting you need help), is being able to talk about your problems. This was another well-written story, James. I was planning to start on Broken now.

I just have one question, James: Why haven't I read your stuff sooner??????? Terrific ending to a terrific series. Maybe you could do a sequel, or sort of a type of story that goes before the old gang meet in the maternity ward, that brings them to that point, and then after. And of course you'd have to tie Randy in there somehow. I'm just really glad Jimmy straightened himself out and got away from the hard drugs. Where is Jeff though? I'm trying to figure out the timeline of when Jeff came into the picture. The story with Jeff mentioned that Jimmy met him in a mall far from home, so I'm just curious about the background of their meeting. Anyway, awesome writing, James. I need to read more stories from you! Luckily I have a lot to choose from.
-
I was just gonna ask how Jim could afford to go to a private academy for school, but then I remembered that his invisible folks must make good money, plus the money he makes as a grower. I'm glad Randy fits right in. Randy sounds like a younger version of Jim; I think given the chance, Jim would have done the exact same thing for his friends.
-
What an emotional first chapter, James. Randy sounds like a very mature boy for his age. I'm looking forward to chapter two. I'm assuming he's going to meet Jimmy and Co. when he goes to Mississippi...

Well, since you mentioned Nightfall in your response to my review of Jeff, I had to see what that was about. You didn't tell me it was the last of a trilogy. lol So I started with the first story, this one. Fantastic story. Very heartwarming. I absolutely LOVED the end where they all get together to see Clay's twins, Alex and James. That was perfect. I was so happy to see they were all doing so well eight years later, and that at least Alex went to college. Did they all go? And I got to see Jeff again. Ok, on to the second story in this series.

This has been on my 'To Read' list for a while, so I'm thrilled I finally had a chance to read it. What an emotional story, James. I'm with Tim though -- I'm not sure I like the ending, with the narrator offering Jeff the joint. I wouldn't want to see the narrator go down that path again, and drag Jeff with him. Jeff was a godsend. What happened to him? Why aren't they still together? Irri commented that he was mentioned in previous stories; that means I have more stories of yours to put on my 'To Read' list! And James, I've been meaning to ask you: what happened to your cat avatar? lol You've had that avatar forever!

Well I'm hooked! lol Why does everyone think the manager of the diner was Silas' brother? I thought he was his father. Either way, Silas was still scared of him, and he ran away leaving Addy behind!!!! I hope she doesn't try to run after him and get hit by a car! I'm looking forward to reading more about Silas and why he's on the road by himself at such a young age. He should have stuck with the band.

Game Word Search #2: Promising Authors

Renee, this is excellent! I LOVE word searches! -
Ok, so yet again, yeah, late, late, late! And yet again, Tim and Carrie had me and with their reviews. I have a very good reason for being so late: my computer spontaneously combusted after reading your scorching scene between Corbs and Nick. Sigh. So I had to go to Best Buy to buy another one. Btdubs -- you owe me $950.00 for my new Lenovo. It was your fault, after all! What was wrong with Ron Weasley again? Pete the English Penishead and Mike the Asshat Cadet really had me cracking up. What the hell was with the "I don't know"s from PEP? He texts Corbin that he was unfair to him and that he loves him and when Corbs asks him straight out, he says Idk???????? Like, wtf???? Either you love him or you don't. You can't tell someone you love them in a text and then sorta take it back by saying Idk. What a penishead. At least MAC acts like he loves Corbin, and for now, is more comfortable with how he feels toward Corbin than he used to be. Wonder what six months in isolation will do to him? Ok, Nick. Does this kid have an straight, older bro? Or a cousin maybe? lol He sounds like such a dream. He's liked Corbin for a year already and Corbin never realized it. What a shame. But he was too hung up on PEP and MAC anyway to really notice anyone else taking an interest in him. I think Nick could be so good for our Corbs -- he's attentive, he's caring, he's generous, he's excellent in the sack (what else do you need besides that? ), and he's HOT, HOT, HOT!! Damn, too bad he's not straight. lol Some of your readers think Nick is strong and he has his shit together, that if things didn't work out with Corbs, his heart wouldn't break into a million invisible pieces. I'm not so sure of that. He has liked Corbin for over a year now, after all. I think he's probably on cloud 9 now b/c I'm sure he's wanted this for a long, long time. I do think his heart may take a beating if Corbs goes with PEP or even MAC when he comes out of isolation. Stupid question, Jon: while Corbin is waiting for PEP to figure out just what/who he wants, will he see Nick again? Will he feel he's using Nick while he's waiting for the Brit? Would he even do that to Nick? Will he come clean to Nick about PEP? All these questions! Actually, I started out asking only one! Looking forward to the next chapter, Jon! What a great ride!
