    Chapter 3

The make-out session had me in stitches. Well done. I like how Drew's friends are so loyal and protective. It is getting late, here, but I must read another chapter.

    Chapter 2

Oh boy! In the hot seat now. Both Rick and Drew are coming across as so likable. You will bring them together.....won't you?

    Chapter 1

I'm hooked! This is off to a great start. There seems to be an underlying feeling of steadiness and balance, here at the start, in addition to just enough suggestion of conflict--past or potential. Where might this tale go?

    Endgame

The Scar got off too easily.
  5. Damn it all! I promised myself I would go to bed after I had finished reading this chapter. Now I have to read at least the next one.....

    Moving Day

Ok, Ok! Time to come up for air. I have put off reading this until more had been posted. And the time has finally arrived. It is great to be able to read more of your writing. While reading your stories, I enter a familiar "comfort zone" which few other authors can create. Since you finished Circumnavigation, I missed this feeling. Am loving all your unique flourishes--geographical references, utterly evil characters (shades of Bridget!), and your brilliant use of conversation. Onward.

    Epilogue

What a heartwarming story. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Smooth pacing, well formed characters, a brilliant job. Thank you.
  8. At first I thought we were headed to Xibalba, but I was soon proven wrong. You did a fine job of suspense building, and then ended up leaving much to the reader's imagination. I encourage you to let this one "steep" a bit, and then return with more of this story--you have definitely gotten some of us "hooked"!
  9. That you are not well is disturbing. May soothing, healing energy surround you. In spite of this development, your writing is as bewitching as ever. "Thank you for sharing".
  10. What a great chapter! I was left with a glowing feeling once I finished reading it. You are a champion story-teller. I also enjoyed the natural feel to the dialogue. Onward.
  11. Uh-oh......I am starting to worry. Everything feels so good, so comfortably natural. Is there danger lurking around the corner? Sure hope not. Another fine chapter. You describe their interactions so well.
  12. Well.....that chapter certainly carried a little weight. Nice and (dare I say it?) meaty, and thought-provoking. I felt a sort of "completeness" about this chapter, also. Maybe the "story-within-a story" contributed to my feeling that. A joy to read.
  13. Am loving the comfort level which is rapidly developing between Chuck and Dylan. It contrasts dramatically with the miserable nature of some of the other characters. Great job.
  14. Super! I have never read a better written description of love-making. Truly, you have outdone yourself.

    Epilogue

Have intentionally delayed reading the ending.......was in a state of denial that it was finished....impossible!! My curiosity finally got the better of me, and here I am. Words are inadequate to express my awe at the scope of your storytelling, and the depth of my appreciation of this. So, a simple "Thank You, Sir." will have to do. Take a comfortable break, and come back soon.
  16. How did we ever survive without our "fix" of Asher and Michael? Especially liked Asher's thought about wanting to be the raindrop slowly sliding down Michael. Glad you had a good vacation.
  17. Five stars, again. This just keeps getting better and better.
  18. Superb. Have to agree, Dylan's inner dialogue versus what actually came out of his mouth was a hoot to read. So glad I found this story. Am loving the dynamic between them. Looking forward to reading more.
  19. It is so easy to get swept away with this story. Once in, you don't want to leave. Plus, there is such an overall sensual feel, thanks to your musical references. The YouTube clip was intensely erotic. Do take your time with this. "All good things in all good time."

    Passacaille

That was heavenly. I might just have to read it one more time.

    Passepied

Another extremely satisfying chapter. You are definitely not moving things too slowly. I find the pacing very steady, very "measured", but not in a tense fashion. Sort of like calm ocean waves on the shore. The story is mesmerizing.

    Siciliana

I have no self-control, sometimes, and had to keep reading. Am reminded of a slow-motion film of a lotus blossom opening. (Also just checked out La Poeme Harmonique on YouTube--much to explore and discover.) Dank je wel.

    Grave

I have to agree whole-heartedly with the other reviewer--the pacing feels perfect. The description of Tristan's panic is very realistic without seeming too dramatic. What is next!?
  24. This story has captivated me entirely. I will try hard not to read it all at once. Perhaps a couple of more chapters this evening! I will have to check out some of the musical references, as I am more rock and roll oriented, than baroque. Plus, I get some new geography lessons, too. Truly a win-win situation.

    Chapter 25

I have never read anything quite like this, before. It has so many levels of complexity. I have never enjoyed dissecting elements of stories, especially ones which capture my imagination the way this one does. Thank you.
