While I had some doubts about Penderslut, I reasoned that he was more involved behind the scenes in the streams. But it seems that the a-hole was just another traveler with a grudge to satisfy...what a prick... Dottie seems to have a bit of juice in this time stream, here's hoping she is able to extract the boys... On a side note, there is a book out about John and Allen Dulles, the premise is that they were the driving force behind the Kennedy assassination. Both brothers have invested heavily in Indonesia's raw materials and needed a pliable government in power. In the early days of Kennedy's term, he favored supporting a more moderate government over the current one. Had that government come to power, the Dulles brothers stood to lose nearly everything. I'm not sure how much credence to give to this theory... On another note, both brothers had pecidillos every bit as Roy Cohn. Allen was responsible for our government overthrowing several unfriendly governments and was instrumental in forming the OSS, which morphed into the CIA. John could not keep his zipper up, and during WW2, he was bounced from one diplomatic posting to another as a result. Interestingly, their sister Elenor was considered to be the smartest one in the family...

While we may suspect that a divorce may be in the near future for Jack's parents as an excuse for their behavior is ludicrous...let's not forget the scars on Jack's back, thanks to his parents...anything else, no matter how it is phrased, or glossed over, or otherwise excused or ignored, can ever erase what they have done, or stood by while it was done...no matter the circumstances. Worrying that things may be getting worse at this point is akin to the ostrich pulling its head out of the sand...as to any sort of custody battle, with the truth out, both parents are losers... To state that all may not be well with his parents' relationship is the understatement of the year, decade, and century...They both belong behind bars... BTW...Jack isn't a trophy...he's a child... In a sense, can we say anything is different for Nick, considering the loss of his father before and his mother essentially abandoning him, sacrificing him on the altar of the unceasing demands of work? Is that the only constant in his life to this point is his dog, Bojangles? There are adult decisions that both Nick and Jack need to face if they want to have the relationship they both desire. It will require brutal honesty if they are to emerge from this as a couple... Circumstances may be different between the boys, but in the end the results are the same for both of them...

Then try being retired after so many years of working for the man, woman, or an it, to whatever one identifies these days...I've come to realize that if it ain't hurting, the devil is closer than I would like...
