Not sure just what it is going to take to get Joel to open up and begin to trust again, but hopefully he's getting closer... Hopefully, surviving his first close encounter with a horse will lead to more and hopefully a little bonding with one of them... I am having difficulty understanding Colt, other than to think he's a spoiled little rich boy. To whom much has been given, much is expected...Is Sierra milking him enough, or is it a case of DSB (Deadly Semen Backup)??? And...What are the odds the twins' house won't burn down??? Isn't it time for Cody to visit??

This chapter had some future possibilities to look forward to and some reminders of how precious is time... Having to deal with a brother passing away in one's arms and coming home to indifferent parents is beyond the pale... And sometimes going home again isn't an option... And a much-loved and respected Bridge, most of all, knows time's limitations... Will Todd's and Frost's clothes stay on and make it through dinner???

Professor Michael reminds me of a couple of professors and teachers I studied under, this, of course, just after the dinosaurs lost the civil war...It helped that I took courses that truly interested and engaged me.
