Ok...I stayed up way too late casting all those early votes this evening... I loved the following...does it work on politico types??? "Actually," Dick said, "It sounds quite humane to me. Those that do not learn from the mistakes of the past, are bound to repeat them." "There you go," Max agreed. "The poppers get their own miniverse where they can always cause trouble, forever, and the regular universe goes on without them." Ragal made an impressed sound, almost like a human whistle. "In other words, we get them to make themselves extinct in our universe." The elf nodded. "Has a nice ring to it, don't it?" "This is sort of like what the Kift did to the Arpathant," Kippy said. "In that case, they shuttled the entire race to equivalent worlds in a parallel universe where no life had ever existed. The Arpies were not made to perish, but they were out of everyone's hair, forever."

Could this be one of our friends from Engris, Poppin Fresh???

Or the location of the...Pop Tarts...

Here's a thought...are these two societies the only sentient lifeforms on this planet??? Could the wood be a valuable export resource???

Now to get to the retired transporter, would it be possible to have him take a side jaunt to the mountain range? Still wondering as to those who are behind the war and prosecuting it... What is the deathrate compared to the war's attrition??? In WW1 the loss of life in individual battles was enormous, at Verdin, the French lost 400,000 soldiers, the Germans, 350,000. The net result was that in both countries, an entire generation of young men were wiped out.. Is the effort against the Pactrids sustainable, and for how long? casualties in the battle of verdun - Search

Calum had best do the acting job of his life and have an epiphany... The mountains spoke of must be found and the news of their location shared... A better understanding of how Calum's society works is needed, is there an underground movement, one that could help him 'educate' the civilian population. With the staggering number of losses in life, I find it hard to believe folks just accept the futility of sending their sons to die.... Is it possible in the not so distant future, if pushed to the brink by the Pactrids, will we find Calum as a negotiator? And how and why is wood a valuable resource, what is it used for??? The only drawback, given the cells were underground, was the lack of daylight. An oil lamp—its glass grimy with soot—hung in the hallway, producing a sliver of orange, flickering light into his cramped space.

I am a firm believer that had Obama and the Dumbmocrat's in Congress followed up with the economy before healthcare, the Retardicans never would have come back in the next election cycle...

This chapter proudly stands with the others in the impact it creates with your readers. So very well done!!! I found the following especially powerful... “I thought I had almost lost my boy four months ago, but these past four months without Thomas, well… Brendon doesn’t eat, he doesn’t sleep. He barely passed his classes last semester. He’s a shell of the kid he was when he and Thomas were together. Sitting here in this hospital, I can see what our views have done to him. We’ve fallen in love with a son that doesn’t exist instead of the one we have.” Sandra's voice trailed off as she was convicted by her own words again.

I'm confused and getting lost, at some point this should all make sense....

Why am I not surprised???? I ain't reading the one, it there is one, on the talking toilet....or the toilet paper roll/holder....

And don't forget to pony up for the multiplier.....just sayin....

Wow….I’m pining for the day we see her in handcuffs……

WTF??? Somehow, someway someone somewhere hacked top secret communications, connections, and all sorts of stuff they should not have been able to…..and go places they shouldn’t have….

It sounds like a slice of heaven, self-contained and a beautiful spot. Having followed the devastating wildfires not so long ago, the sprinkler system impresses!!

Just where was Todd at the party when the clock struck 12??? Now Jake, whatever do you mean????

Am I sorry that Zach is dead, to some degree, just wished his comeuppance was not as violent and much more public... Ther is much obfuscation in this and the previous chapters, red herrings begetting multitudes of red herrings with an occasional loaf of bread tossed in... As to who is the killer, I'm going with either Miss Peacock or Colonel Mustard....

Batman is most likely a red herring, Gilly...what were you thinking? And now for the important stuff...can anyone ever finish a conversation???? Time for Zack and Jessie to meet Karma...and her alter ego... “She really liked you a lot.” “And that’s an excuse?” “No. It’s just...she’s been through a lot, Killian. There’s a lot of stuff you don’t know about my family.” That certainly piqued my curiosity. “Like what?” He shook his head. “I really don’t feel like talking about it, especially now. Can’t we just go have fun? It’s a goddamn party.”

Don't walk under any ladders or by any piano movers Michael...

Hummm...not sure what to say, is Charlie and Mom here in the present?

The initial hard work has accomplished the first of their goals, now the hard work truly begins...

Thank you for this, 4 powerfully scripted chapters leaving everyone on tenterhooks...so glad to see this story continuing, lest we forget, another young man lays in the hospital... Can't wait to see the next!!!

The devil is in the details and I believe the cross examination of the uncle will pay dividends!!! Glad I was late to the party on this story so I could binge...Hoping Ch 5 is coming quickly as Ch 4 is next to the detriment of chores that need doing!!!

The uncle has some explaining to do it would seem...was Brendon offered a pass, so to speak, by lying for the prosecution?

Well...this has me hooked!!!

Shannon along with Will, combined with Charlie's second sight will prove to be a formidable force. These pooper poppers sound to be like a gang of Juvenile Delinquents....in need of some remedial, corrective action. Barring that if it doesn't work, there is an alternate 'world' where they could go to and co-mingle with some very interesting folks of the same ilk....
