It is past time for the Guild of Houses to set things to right...the I.C.U.A. leadership needs to be taken down, preferably with blasters securely lodged up their individual backsides... Come on folks, what more reason does anyone need???? Neptithia continued without awaiting their reply. “The assassin viper androids have finally been deactivated, and the I.C.U.A. has issued a trans-galactic statement. The death toll has reached over two-hundred-billion across the universe, and multiple sentient species have been brought to the brink of extinction or wiped out entirely, but the killing has stopped.” -
I am curious as to this so-called Covenant as well, are they a force for good, or a self-serving cult??? “What are you most looking forward to here at Arkwright?” he asked, genuinely interested in Liam’s perspective. Liam thought for a moment before answering, “I think just the opportunity to learn, to see how far I can push myself.” Daniel nodded, “You’ll fit right in. And hey, if the classes don’t challenge you enough, I’m sure The Covenant will.” Liam smiled, the term sparking a flicker of intrigue and anticipation. “I hope to at least get a glimpse of what that’s all about.”

So many directions this story can go...and a couple of red herrings to say the least.... Sebastian/Bass...do I detect a possible romance angle??? The parents, accident or murder??? I have a feeling it may be something nefarious...what was the source of their income(s)??? More to the point, Boris Tanner's parents last name was Taenov, sounds suspiciously Eastern European, possibly Russian...what is/was their background??? Legit or criminal????- 37 comments

As @weinerdog so kindly requested, I have to second the motion for a follow-up!!! All I could add is the following, resentment not only is a trap...but a prison!!! And yes folks...it is that simple!!! LJ said, “Resentment is a trap. The only person it hurts is you. Some people hold on to resentments, and it just makes them pissed off and angry all the time. Forgiveness is one of the most powerful, liberating things you can ever do for yourself. It frees you of the negativity that only holds you back.” Rebel was quiet and wondered if it was possible for him. Was it really that simple?

The only constant in this world/life is change and it will be interesting to see how each of these friends set the course of their lives!! We ended up sitting by the river, where some large rocks were creating a series of water rapids, and we chatted about how much our lives were about to change, as we entered university studies and adulthood, and we began to mould our future lives. For me, I knew that the coastal property and the compound would somehow be part of my future, what exactly, I was still to find out.

Goodness gracious me...what possibly could happen??? At least check to see if there is cell phone service, if not, transition into a dog, place clothes and a phone in a backpack and skedaddle down to the other end of the lake and for goodness sake, call Ranger Rick or the police!!!

As others noted, Keith needs some clarity regarding his past, understanding that talking about helps to slay the demons and is a path forward to understanding forgiveness. In that simple act of letting the pain go comes the freedom to unabashedly being yourself... Amen to the following, as to what a drab world this place would be without the following...

It seems that some things never change... David rounded up Bradley and Ollie and was about to leave when Tyron said, “I was stoked when some of the girls on campus commented to me about the last video. I’m looking forward to hearing their comments about this one.” He then teasingly asked, “Bradley what did the girls at your school say to you after they saw the last video?” Bradley went red and started urging David, “Come on Dad we’ve got to get home”. That seemed to provide an answer to the question. Then as @Summerabbacat mentioned, I share the same concerns that he does regarding Ollie's mother...Was the real story about the death of Ollie's father???

Once again, I am, glad to have eaten before residing this chapter!! Of course extra rasin bran cereal is by no means an acceptable substitute for the meals described therein... It was good to see Paul and Marie and saddening to see the loss of the parents. It has me wondering if we may see them move back...
