I only have a landline to support my internet DSL. Mum has one that only allows local outgoing calls, she can receive any incoming and the only reason for that is because it's bundled in with her internet and cable. If she drops it she could pay upwards of a $100 more each month.

We've reached the midway point in our trip back to mum's and are safely settled in our hotel in NC.

Thanks for thinking of us. We're still in PA where it's just hazy, hot and humid. At 6pm the temp is 91/33° but with the higher than usual humidity it feels like 98/37°. Tomorrow is expected to be hotter. I know that's nothing like out West. My youngest brother-in-law lives in Beaverton, OR. I hope they're coping okay. TS Danny is expected to make landfall somewhere below Charleston which puts it a good 60 miles south of where mum's house is in Murrells Inlet. The storm should continue on a course that takes it well south and west into Georgia so it should not cause problems for us.

It was a busy kilting day but I'm awfully tired so the story will need to wait. Not surewhether it will help, I'll need to do some research.

It's Celtic Fling weekend at Mt Hope. With luck that means kiltings which mean kilting stories unlike the recent trip to Ocean City, MD. Only concern is that after a string of pleasant days the heat and humidity have returned. My head is already being achy.

I'm sorry for the diagnosis but it seems a good treatment plan. Best wishes from mum and me. Perhaps while it learns your anatomy they can program the machine to recreate the finely sculpted body of your youth.

I plan on planting bush variety yellow wax beans before I leave to take mum home. If all goes well they should be ready for me to begin harvesting when I get back the end of July.

They are. I have wild ones growing in various spots. They tend to be less colorful, more pastel shades.
