We arrived home to discover my internet is out. A tech is coming tomorrow to fix as it couldn't be corrected online. I'm using my phone to check things which isn't ideal as it bumps my data plan but I wanted to let y'all know we were home safe. I be back once things are fixed.

Smelly hippy. I actually dislike the smell of patchouli. It and eucalyptus can trigger a migraine.

We'll leave soon on the second leg of the trip. We encountered heavy rain for about an hour yesterday. The forecasts for today suggest thunderstorms during our travels today. I wish it was otherwise but the rain is badly needed in the Carolinas so. Blessed be y'all.

I presumed you've been since you knew your local temps were hotter. Did you see Marty there?

It is really nice having two seasons of fresh strawberries. So far I made 4 fresh strawberry pies. I start by making a homemade graham cracker crust then fill that with fresh berries mixed in a binder made with sugar, cornstarch and gelatin. Once the pie has set I top it with fresh whipped cream. Yummy.

They look very tasty. Strawberry season in SC was nearing the end but it should be just starting when we arrive in PA.

G'day y'all. Mum, Thistle and I will be leaving later this morning to head back to PA. It's been over 7 months since I was there last. We'll travel part way and spend the night at the usual motel in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Better keep an eye on this wolf @Carlos Hazday he's soon gonna be writing CJverse spinoffs. Seriously it was fun to see them relax at the winery. Thorin seems to have forgotten his place though it seems that will be corrected.

Wow, usually you get 'em drunk in hopes they'll take their clothes off ... maybe because he's wooden they do it to put a little life in him.

The leeks in photo look just about right to me. I prefer them smaller since most of my recipes serve 1 or 2 people.

It's a lovely Monday here. Current temp is 68/20° with a light breeze, comfortable humidity and abundant sunshine. We all went out for crepes this morning. Sat outside and enjoyed a quiet holiday morning.
