Hi Page. Hopefully there will other kilt tales to come. Today however is a day for snoozing and recuperating.

Uhm ... er ... I live in an almost tiny house, all 721 sqft of it. Not sure where I'd put them.

It's a Faire day. Kiltings were a bit underwhelming for opening last weekend, yesterday was better. Had a dad and his adorable young teen son try on matching kilts just for fun. Took them out to the side garden for photos. Took two, the first with them face front and the boy with his foot up on the stone bench. The second was in the " I'm too sexy for my kilt" pose with their backs turned and then looking at me over their shoulder. They enjoyed ithe experience and each thanked me more than once for letting them try on kilts. So far the morning is slightly cooler and less humid than yesterday, 🤞 it stays that way.

Nearly 9pm and 84/29° but with 69% humidity it feels like 90/32°. It's like being back in SC. Thankfully the ac is working.

Yeah, it's hot here today, currently 91/33° but feels like 97/36° and they're expecting it to warm a couple more degrees before it begins to cool. Tomorrow is forecast to be the same. I spent a couple hours late this morning trimming and mowing my yard. Have been lazing in the shade with Thistle this afternoon. He's sprawled in the grass snoozing. The ground is moist from the heavy rains we had earlier in the week so it's cooler than his usual spot at the foot of my chaise. I was gonna take him to the petshop to give him a bath but might wait and do it tomorrow. On hot days like this I just towel him enough that he isn't dripping then left him air dry. It cools him off.

It went well. Found one small polyp that was sent for biopsy. I should hear in 3-4 weeks.

The NWS just posted an air quality warning for my area tomorrow.

I was due last year but put it off because of the pandemic. When I made the initial appointment for tomorrow things were better. This morning my urologist told me that hospitalization at the largest of our three local hospitals is skyrocketing. Especially among the 20-60 age group and the majority of those are unvaccinated.

Arrgh, I just took the first of the prep meds for a colonoscopy I'm having tomorrow morning. I think it's gonna be a long 18 hours 'cause I wasn't allowed lunch and I'm hungry ... and, surprise, my head aches. The good news is my ultrasound showed some improvement in the condition of my bladder and my kidneys don't appear any worse than they were two years ago. The urologist was content and said unless I develop a problem he doesn't need to see for another two years.

Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones died this morning in a London hospital. He was 80.

I didn't say I would hate it, only, that it wasn't something I would choose to eat. I'm not overly fond of banana though I do like an occasional bit of banana bread. Also, bananas are a food that can trigger migraine for some folks and are on the "not frequently" list for me because of my kidney issues. I am glad you can enjoy it.

Glad your doing better. Mine eased some but then returned stronger a couple hours ago. I had a massage earlier and am now resting with the pup.

I had a mini meatloaf, steamed parsley potatoes and fresh steamed yellow wax beans from garden.
