  1. The weather here is similiar. Cool, perhaps record setting for this date and occasional showers. Normal temps for this time of year is low 80's/28° it's currently 54/12°. I'v heard of Bramley apples but don't know if they're available here.

    Chapter 29

True, however, doing so for Cyn's first restaurant outing introduces added risks.

    Chapter 29

He should but then how would our intrepid author introduce Cyn's non-allergy?
  5. Uhm, I can't tell you that either.

    Chapter 29

Hmmm, no allergy to silver. I suspect that may be important later. Gooey gouda makes a good frittata better. So just what and how does the female lycan know? Her mate seemed pleasant enough though his approach to Cyn being a cernunnos out and about in public was a bit awkward.

Okay, big flamers it is ... oh, wait, that's something entirely different.
  8. I can't tell you because it's a secret.
  9. I heard that one more than a few times in my teens.
  10. He was pretty and had a lovely voice.
  11. G'day y'all. Day is dawning warm and bright but chill wet weather is in the forecast. We need rain almost as badly as Albert.
  12. Hi Page. I swear Thistle's head isn't screwed on straight today.

Now we know who was working opposed to the "hocus pocus twins" but why? Excellent chapter.
  16. Maybe you need to find a different errandboy.
  17. Glad you had a good day. Ours was quiet. After church I used a new recipe to make drop biscuits. The end result was very good but seemed more like scones than flaky biscuits. We made a mid-afternoon coffee run to Starbuck's. Dinner was shrimp burgers. The recipe makes enough to have temp twice hence tonight's Shrimp Day celebration.
  18. Today is National Shrimp Day. Mum and I will be celebrating with Beaufort style shrimp burgers.
  19. Wonder if the other zoombies will recognize you with out you flowing locks.
  20. Greetings Albert. I am well enough thank you. My head is being bothersome, likely because it's a warm humid day. Hope you and Steve are well.
  21. Exactly a no water chai latte warms the bones.
  22. Sometimes in life things go better than expected. About a month ago my dad had a routine echocardiogram. The results showed that one, possibly two of his heart valves needed replacement. He had a consult with a cardiac surgeon about what would be involved. The first step was a catheterization procedure to test the pressure on both sides of the valves. That procedure happened yesterday and all went smoothly. They inserted catheters in through his neck, right wrist ang up the left side of his groin. The doctor who did the procedure said that the cardiac team still needs to confer over the results but his reccomendation will be the valves not be replaced. The earlier tests indicated severe damage but the results yesterday indicate only moderate damage. The earlier echo shows a shadow on dad's lung so he had a consult with a pulmonologist who ordered a second echo specific to the lung to happen on Monday. Thought is it is an infection. Dad has COPD.
  23. A chai latte is my preferred drink on those raw wet days in late autumn and early spring.
  24. This was a very early model first developed when most men wore full body bathing costumes.
