    Yves

Hmmm, a yellow Lamborghini, seems someone likes yellow motorcars. As I recall "Defiant" is yellow too. I'll be glad to see the back of Nalbo, necessary evil that he may be. I enjoyed reading more about Brett's background and family. The reminiscences about his dad explain somethings about Brett's attitude. Wonder if they'll extend the trip. They certainly seem to be enjoying themselves but time is just speeding by ... I have to admit I'm in agreement with their political assessments. Me, I like Pete. This chapter was satisfying and relaxed which I think is what you intended for this sidetrip. Kudos.

    Along the Creek

I find this style to be truly lovely. There is an ebb and flow to the words much suited to the topic, the ebb and flow of nature's persistence ... Thank you your words are like dappled sunlight and the melody of water flowing in a shaded brook.
  4. See, I was correct.
  5. I'm sorry but I had to laugh first because I'm sure your expression and yowl of surprise were comical and you survived relatively unscathed and learned a valuable life lesson.
  6. I'm rather certain that's what you did this time, just not the taste you'd planned.
  7. But will you be able to make it again?
  8. Greetings Albert. The day started well enough that I accomplished the chores as I hoped before today's migraine began. I'm resting now. I hope you and Steve are both well.
  9. Well that makes much more sense. I can understand how you might have a crap ton of pepper handy and even be able to lift it without a forklift or help from a couple of the herd. Though knowing the herd as I do I can well imagine a couple of them accidentally dumping in the extra pepper. They're awfully pretty but can get a bit carried away in their shenanigans.
  10. G'day y'all. Woke to a bright clear day, well it was bright once the sun came up. First day in more than a week. The pup and I had a nice walk. I'm hoping to complete a few outdoor chores, weeding and such this morning.
  11. Or late ... 😴
  12. You had a metric ton of pepper in your pantry and just how large is the pan you were using?

    Chapter 5

That be a lovely twist ...
  14. A lovely remembrance of the woman your mother was. Thanks for again sharing your memories of her. You speak to the moon, I go to the sea ...
  15. My guess, for many of those things there wasn't a recipe as such just using what was at hand.
  16. Hi I also saute mushrooms and onion and mix that in with the beef.
  17. I make one using shrimp and scallops and dried corn. I missed congratulating you on the welcome news. See it pays to study before taking tests. Oh, wait, just ignore the last bit. It's what I used to tell my son when he was still in school. Uhm, now that I think about it he's still in school. Second time 'round for another college degree.
  18. I want to hug him ...
  19. Yeah, my cottage pie doesn't use peas. I sub in corn. Corn is more adbundant in my area.

    Chapter 5

Is Fergus serious in his offer or just using Jimmy? Also, is there some homophobia in Fergus' response to being told the wolf attacking these young men is also having sex with them? Claiming no room in his pack for "males mated to males".
  21. We had baked mac 'n cheese, I raided the freezer for leftover cheeses used MontAmore and a cheddar flavored with carmelized onions, with leftover panzanella on the side.
  22. Hi Sam ... er, ...
  23. Greetings and salutations bro.
