So it seems mum had a heart attack at some point this summer but was unaware of it. She learned of if on Thursday afternoon when she went for a routine checkup with her family doctor and he reviewed her ekg.
I don't know how I feel. Obviously relieved but mum will be 84 next Monday. She's closing in on the ages her parents were when they died. My grandfather died because of a heart attack at age 85 and my grandmother had some heart issues when she died of other causes a month later at age 86.
What a bait and switch ... to suggest one sort of performance and then give us another. Lucky for you Chipper has the talent to carry either.
So is anyone gonna "steal" Bliss?
Wow. I just finished dumping one load of laundry into the washer after hanging the previous load in the sun to dry. Never occurred to me how much of my life might be drowning in that agitated water ...
I still believe in the powers of a cup of strong coffee ... you just need to add a lot of cream and sugar.
Sometimes the sun shining on flower petals is enough.
Well, we're a rather unfortunate bunch, what with colds and such. I just took the pain meds and sedative that put me to sleep to cope with this migraine. Mum and Thistle are sitting outside under the tree reading and relaxing.

They say that diamonds are created from a common substance, carbon, placed under great heat and pressure. I'd say the lads had their own substance tested under heat and pressure and a few diamonds sparked as a result.
It was a very human moment when Mr Bennet acknowledged the growth and maturity in the lads despite the sometimes dehumanizing effects of public education.
Excellent chapter.
Gee, my other Gary. The Master of the shop is also dealing with a bronchial "thing". He thinks his is allergy related as he went through the same thing about this time last year. He took today off and went home to rest.
Actually this is the same level of naivete that almost got CJ raped by a friend and his cousin. Perhaps his trust is justified. I'm hoping so and if not it will be a lesson learned.
