I was able to coax the upstairs a/c unit into the window yesterday morning so Mum's bedroom is comfortable for her. That's a good thing since it hasn't cooled down below 76/24° overnight and with the humidity feels warmer. The forecast for today is 100/38 with heat index of 108/42°. Add to that an air quality warning and it's not a day for being outdoors. Today and tomorrow are expected to be the hottest with Thursday being a few degrees cooler. Friday and the weekend are to return to more normal temps in the mid-80's. That's good since this weekend is Celtic Fling at Mt Hope and the shop will be open. No a/c there just whatever breeze Natty provides.

It's getting warm here. Currently 88/31° but with humidity feels like 93/34°. Fortuntaely there's a nice breeze in my back garden making it reasonably comfortable sitting in the shade. We're forecast to have a heat wave with dangerous temps that feel like 105/40° beginning tomorrow and lasting until Wednesday. I've got the A/C going downstairs. I haven't needed to worry about cooling upstairs because it's rarely this hot when mum is here. The window unit I thought I would use it just slightly to large for the window so I need to look for another one.

It's been cool, wet and dreary here the last few days. Today is to be much the same except for being warmer and muggy. It's been rough on both mum and I. It makes her knees and my head ache. Also, doesn't help our moods.
