Mum is doing remarkably well. She shows very few symptoms and feels okay. I guess the paxlovid is working for her.

That's a very weird twist on the French Dip.

So far so good. Mum says she doesn't feel really sick. The worst is the horrible sore throat, it feels as if your throat is being sliced to bits when you cough and you have to cough. Fortunately, mine only lasted about 48 hrs. I'm hoping hers follows. Once you get beyond the sore throat it's much like a bad head cold. Stuffy, runny nose and cough plus being very wrung out. Thanks everyone for your thoughts.

Mum tested positive for covid this morning. She woke up with a sore throat, earache and cough. Waiting to hear back from the doctor as to whether she can take the antiviral or if like me we just treat symptoms.
