    OMG. Sorry, that sucks! I had one a few years ago. I was convinced it was a pulmonary embolism and went to the ER. The doctor there laughed and diagnosed me with heart palpitations instead. Hope you feel better soon!

    Thank you. I originally started writing this as a gift to my awesome beta reader after taking a long hiatus from writing. It was so much fun to return to these characters and write about their lives.

    Dylan is kind of a jerk. Then again, he lost his parents as well, and probably didn't want to take on a parental role either. To be perfectly honest, I last saw The Matrix in either high school or college, which was many many many years ago, so my memory is a bit fuzzy on that account. I should probably watch it again, honestly. Thanks for commenting!

    I'm a PTA in a Physical Therapy clinic. I had one patient tell me about breaking her arm when standing on a chair to clean the top of her refrigerator. (I didn't even know you were supposed to clean up there).
