That was bloody gross. What can't google do lately? Interesting use of the prompt. I liked it.

Now do you think I would tell you and ruin the surprise? I don't know if you read the original story I based this off but if you did then you know some of what is coming. but I like to add a few curve balls so you have fun reading the expanded tale.

Been having fun going through the cd collection and how can you go wrong with Fleetwood Mac? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7E0uA0WrDk

Well time will tell how Jenny's taste in a blind date is. Glad you are still reading and enjoying Dave.

To be honest, my name isn’t really pronounceable in your language. It will be easier to call me by my job, Changeling. I am special even among my own kind. You see I can truly be anyone I wish to become, maybe even more than the person was originally. My powers are unique. Unlike the few of my kind who change, I do not need to study every little detail about who I am to become. I only need a name, an image, or better yet a memory and I am that person. I will know every detail of their life in t

A creature of Faerie sits down to tell their tale to a captivated listener. However, when the tale is done, things might be changed forever.

Um I know this thread started hot for a while but Welcome to MARCH. Less than three months till the chosen date so a little reminder and help here. DC is our meeting/hosting city. Andy's home grounds and he has been willing to help do leg work but some comment and confirmation of those really interested at this point so we have some idea of how to proceed. For those North of me (Hi, I live out on Long Island in NY) and am about an hour plus from NYC. Those looking for car pool, train, or whatever we have time to start talking here. Decisions on where to stay, what to see, and when we all want our big meeting to be. Please don't tell me only the Europeans are able to pull this off.

Well, I do have to have fun sometimes. I mean most of the time I'm just too good. Besides it does work well with the initials.

Now that is a message worth supporting.

Well the vampire is usually well done and can be a white shirt opened all the way down, black skin tight jeans, boots, and fangs. A lot can be said depending on how modest and rich your characters are. Face it they can rent a Roman Soldier outfit or go in an old high school sports uniform. Shy guys can always go in something skin tight that doesn't show skin but reveals all. The cowboy in a cowboy hat, jeans, and cowboy boots with a large belt buckle to show off his crotch. Or go sci fi where it is mostly body paint and a very skimpy outfit and claim to be an alien.

Well no matter what happens, everyone should have eye candy.

Rustle, I'm still going with Krystal Chandelier or maybe Kevin Christopher. Depends on how wicked I'm feeling.

My third morning at Jenny’s and already I felt like a moocher. Granted, I cooked when I was home, and did whatever need to be done for the family, but it still felt like I didn’t contribute. It also sucked living out of bags. My day got worse when I went to get gas on my way to work. I pulled into the station and spotted Dad filling up his tank. I hoped that with some time he might reconsider how his feelings toward me. I know really stupid of me, but he is my father. “Hi, Dad.

Thanks Nephy. I'm just sort of waiting to find out what the treatment will be. Evidently she avoided the earlier warning signals, whatever they might be, and it is already at stage 3. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

I think most of us on here are pretty good about reaching out. We (usually) are able to pull ourselves together and if nothing else, listen and offer support. Cia and others just have a knack. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, just be grateful.

I think we all need someone who help us see the mistakes, the gold, and guide us to making our own writing the best it can be. When it comes to myself, the old saying of "no man is an island" is true. I'm sort of a slut when it comes to working with people and enjoy new ideas and opinions, but I've been lucky to work with some truly talented people. "It takes a village" in my case to make my stuff look respectable. Therefore, I'm never one to miss a chance to thank people so here goes. Maria - She was the first to read over and make any suggestions about my poetry. Frosty - She has worked on more of my stuff and kept me honest. Renee Stevens - She has beta'd and edited for me. She has no problem telling me when I have screwed and need to redo, rewrite, or rethink something. Hey I appreciate the honesty. She is there for writing or as a friend and that is always worth knowing.I happily try to return the favor when she needs it. Cia - She has worked with me, but on my stuff. She is another one who is honest about missing the boat, correcting the syntax, and all of that. When you have someone who wants your stuff to shine, who complains? KC Grimm - Friend, beta, or editor he does it all. When you want someone to be honest with you, can't go wrong with asking KC. The only thing KC usually asks is for more sex in my stories. I've helped with his stories when asked and growled at him when I thought he was shorting his stories and himself. Lugh - He might seem grumpy but when you ask him for a hand he is down right honest and insightful. Isn't that what anyone wants when you ask for someone to look over your work? Here is someone who is fun to bounce ideas off of, because he is harder on himself than nearly anyone I've ever worked with. Andy(Quonus10) - He is presently helping to beta a story for me. It is changing how I approach things and hopefully will make my writing a bit more exciting. Intune - She stepped into the void left by others and helped me pull Accidents Happen together with her editing. Thank you again. Jian - He stepped in and added some wonderful ideas while he helped to beta for me. I can't thank him enough. Then there are those who keep me looking at new ideas and seeing things through completely different sets of eyes. I gratefully work as their team. Mark - Adopted family or not he has a lot to say and sees things in new ways. I am happy to do what I can to keep him writing. Billy Brat - The man has story to tell and I do what I can to help him fill the gaps and dress the settings. Daniel - His first story was a pleasure to help with and to any who work him I know you will enjoy it as well. MysteryMan- Okay I will uncover his secrets but presently enjoying his tale and seeing where he is taking it.

Happy Birthday Dan.

Yes Cassie, it is going to be DC this June 16th and 17th. Now we bother the ones who live closest to come up with ideas of places to go and things to do.
-
Sorry for the delay. By popular vote the weekend of June 16 and 17th have the vote. Thank you for helping to narrow it down. Ladies and Gentlemen we have the dates let the planning begin. Ideas, suggestions, those who want to car pool. Lets get this thing going.

Little late closing this but June 16 and 17th have the vote. Thank you all for taking the time to help narrow it down.

Life has a way of trying to equal things out. I don't mean that everything will be perfect just that when things begin to slide out of control help will be there when you need it. The last two weeks have seen the wind taken out of my sails. First there was the personal attack. That took me out of my normal position in life. I'm usually the happy go lucky one who lets things roll off his back. It took a bit of time to get that perspective back. It helps to have friends who listen, even though I hate to talk, and will allow me to let it out. Like any poison, whether it is self loathing, disappointment, depression, or a dozen other hateful things, when you let it out you begin to heal. So thank you to those who listened to me whine, complain, and get it out. However, once the person stupidity was over real tragedy struck. Still been asked not let it out, but I don't always do as asked. Waiting right now for all the results on my sister-in-laws results on her cancer test. It has been determined she has throat cancer, but how bad and what sort of treatment she will have to undertake has yet to be related to us. Both her and my brother smoke like a chimney. She is a year younger than I am and he is four years younger. So I've been scattered. It happens. I am blessed though that I have people who depend on me and keep me moving. Whether it is Mark and Billy by reminding there is more than just me going through things, KC stepping in to help fill the void I left with my person issues, Andy continuing to aid in my story, Frosty for editing what I have managed to do, or Renee and Cia taking time to listen to me rant and rave. Even among the ashes I find my blessings. For the help and support you all give to me and to each other I thank you. Wayne

Prompts Writing Prompts #116 & #117
comicfan commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Writing World
I love Andy's responses to the prompts. They are always creative and go in directions I hadn't always thought of when I created them. Now if he would just remember to link them I'd be a happy camper. -
Yup, that would be one hell of a secret. I can't believe you went for Resputian. Never seen that one coming Andy. Twisted tale that is for sure.
