I can't see why you don't want to settle down? Let's look at the family shall we? You've been married twice. Evidently it didn't take the first time. Your children are by different partners and I believe your oldest has said unless they can marry one of both they aren't marrying. However the rest of your children have followed your example. Your daughter is on her fifth marriage isn't that right? I just feel I can't compete in that sort of race. I would be at least two marriages behind at my age and I am not sure I have that sort of energy.

When I graduated college as an undergrad. I had been told by school councilor in high school that college was for smart people and I should look for something in retail because that would be good for me. My average in high school was a 90.8. It was one of those moments that stuck with me. I worked my butt off as an undergrad. I didn't go till I was 27 and then decided if I was going to do it I would enjoy it all. When I graduated I was the valedictorian. To say I was proud of myself would be an understatement. What have you done that you are proud of?

Great story here. New take on the hooker with the heart of gold, making it the cop with the heart of gold getting him into a new life. Glad his partner didn't cause him trouble.

My hat is off to you. I love fairy tales and have a tendency to write them often. This was such a fun read. Twists and turns on the what could have been a common tale, set yours apart. Yet you never let the story just rest as you bring back the villain at the end and set the stage to see where you might take this. Nice job all around.

Me? Scary? Why you say the most flattering things. Just my chance to dip my toe into the dark pool and see what I could get to climb out of it. See what happens when I get riled up. No happy endings or simple lessons, just a psycho out to get her revenge on all men.

I wanted to leave that up to the reader. Did she escape or was she caught? We know she left two victims alive, but we have no idea what sort of shape the last one was in. Just a little something to keep people wondering.

Well Mark, James was bad, I just never told you I could do someone who would make him seem almost moral. This was my chance to walk on the dark side and see what I could do. Seems people found it scary and dark. Seems I did what I set out to do. Thanks for the review.

Yeah she was meant to be psycho. Tristan was meant to walk away scarred for life - physically and emotionally. Officer Richards was the reader's way in. He was the one to give a voice to the concern and fear about whether Tristan would survive. Sarah Richards was never meant to be the villain, just Officer Richards' support team. Okay this hasn't been the best of years for me. I do apologize to those who follow me, but I figured I would let you in on a few things. 1) Jonas is not dead nor has he been forgotten. I presently have two of the last six chapters written. When they are all done they will go off to beta and editor. So he will be completed shortly. 2) Seeon is in rewrites. All I had to hear was it was like another author's story and I pulled the original. The story has undergone massive rewrites while still trying to keep the things that made the original popular. In addition I am trying to set it up so that there is a second book where the story picks up where the first ends. Hopefully when it comes back out early next year people will find it and enjoy it. 3) I had written a major story to attempt to enter into the novella contest. Unfortunately it wasn't finished in time so I put it on the back shelf. Now I am trying hard to finish it. Once it is totally done and has gone through a beta and editor I will put that one up. 4) I had a number of people ask me to continue one of the prompt stories. Like an idiot I have. That is in addition to the the two Anthologies that come out this month, a prompt story presently being edited, and a special project that will probably just be posted as soon as it is finished.
