Was there an announcement made?

I'm always interested in a new twist to a story. Outbreaks have been done now and then but you had such a unique take on it here Bill. I really liked how the more things change, your nasty Reverend for example, the more they stay the same, the new Sheriff. Just liked how this opened the world to see the GLAD community in a new way. Wonderful story.

I agree Bill. Screwing something up is easy. Admitting you are wrong and then trying to do something about it, now that is hard. Earning a second chance to get it right doesn't happen all that often.

Well Sam, you never know where that voice of reason is going to come from, sometimes it is the voice of a teenage girl.

I took the aftermath idea and sort of dovetailed it with Mickey having to deal with end his relationship because he never dealt with his last one. Sometimes life forces you to learn but never gives you the chance to redeem yourself. Mickey was lucky. He got a second chance.

First to Graeme, Lugh, and Cia who worked announcing, planning and helping to get the Anthology together. Their hard work makes the stuff us writers do look so much better. They start a year in advance with getting the ideas together, having people vote, and then work it over till it shines, before it is given to us writers to put our own spin on it. Then they create skins, double check the work, and make it all go together smoothly. Then to not only those work behind the scene deciding who will gain that title of Promising Author but to the readers who take the time to devote to the work, comment, and make it a pleasure to post. For those who have read, liked, commented and been there to encourage and push along a writer. To those who have inspired new work, to those who helped correct my awful ideas smoothing away the rough edges and making me look better than I am, again thank you. It is nice to have something to be truly grateful for. May my work continue to bring you in and make you read. Wayne

OH MY GOD. Who would have thought Lugh and I would have the same tastes. This was the song I had planned for today and by the same artist too. Guess it is on to the next on on my list instead.

For someone who kept lamenting he couldn't do a story like this, you did an incredible job. Lugh. I loved how you just kept everyone guessing till Gaston and Chord could figure it out. Once they did though, look out. Well the purity ring became a wedding ring and the two guys have their American nuptials to look forward to. So what happens on a drunken weekend, everyone finds out about. Including the pictures. For shame. LOL.

You do have a way of making it all look so easy Renee. I love how Greg and Brian handle it all. The attraction, the growing interest, the fall on the way out for lunch. Even the running out to shovel the area before he comes back. Great story. I hope you come back to these guys again. Would love to know what happens when the spring time arrives. lol

Well, well, well. What can I tell you, MR. KC? A really good story with no sex. OH, my. Your story telling for this tale was perfect. I am going to have to come back to it to give you the like but for now know that this is perhaps my favorite story of yours. I found the sweet image of boys in braces, first kisses, and second chances just too good to miss. Very well crafted sir.

Thanks for the review W_L. I am not sure about the gay couples councilor though. However I know how hard it it is to move on and trust again once you have had a bad relationship. The big problem he had was not being able to realize what he had till it was gone. But Mickey was lucky, he is getting a second chance at Tad.

Well while I got the fact he was a ghost quickly I never would have guessed Xel was a half bunny half dragon demon sort of thing. So much for thinking that he had an imaginary friend. Boy was I off base. Poor guy never had a chance. Dark tale there Dark.

Thank you Conner. The problem he had with Tad wasn't one of them but the baggage he was still carrying. Life was kind to him, though that doesn't often happen. I'm glad you liked it.

Sam, The piece was beautiful. You present so many parts of a life, beautiful, painful, and how various people handle the daily survival of school at any given point in history. When friends grow or change and the reasons aren't always clear. The Valentine incident becomes one to remember and the final Valentine one that can't be forgotten. Incredibly emotional without ever trying.

Well that is the one thing about time, it allows you to see the mistakes you made in a new light. As for Tad's niece, well that is the one thing about teenagers, they rarely censor themselves and sometimes they say it as it is, whether you want to hear it or not. lol. Thanks for all the help.

Thank you Lugh. I know how rare it is for you to comment. As for writing, well I got this new title and I think I should try it out by, oh I don't know, writing some more.

Wow, that leaves you cold. Stripped of all possible life, stuck with fading memories because one man was too proud to admit his son was gay, hoping that this might keep him alive and by doing so stripping his partner of closure. Watching how two lives come together, become one, and then forever are destroyed. It leaves you looking to the future and worried what might come of it. Great story if somewhat dark.

You have a whole new world you have opened up with this one, Andy. I can't wait to see where you plan to take it. I loved how the faith Harlin has in his father is rewarded. I love the fact that Stef stands up to him for Harlin. The two really needed to get past the walls they had built. I love this story and can't wait to see more of it.
