    If It Was Just Me

That was harder for me to read than the other two. I feel so bad for Casey, I have been there so many times, it wrenched my guts reading it. Rusty you are a truly talented man, that was a fantastic chapter, I love James and Jessie. On to read the next, once again very well done
  2. This is another that was sent to me and gratefully recieved, even if I did beg for it. I see me in James, we share the same love of the woods and a shared interest in leather LOL, mine are leather jeans when I'm dressed up and I used to roam the woods in a rabbit skin loin cloth affair. The story is slowly unfolding, and that is how it should be, learn who your characters are. I love this story, and i'm now off to read the chapters I havn't already read Good Job Rust my man

    New In Town

I had the pleasure and honour of reading this before posting, and I immediatly wanted more, the characters are so deep, you want to get to know them more. The scences are set beautifully, you feel like you are a part of it, you see what they see. Rusty has an eye on nature which I share, so I will always be a fan, great story Rust
  4. Thank you all, love every one of you
  5. Go go Jo You should believe more in yourself, and watch that temper. Sounds a very sweet story, glad you said sorry. I have been feeling bad for weeks now, next step a neurologist uggh. Love you loads Jo. I'd take Cassiekins up on that offer
  6. I love lava lamps, don't have one yet, but a compass inside a walking cane was very cool to recieve, Glad you got lots of cool presents, sad you didn't get mine, even though it wasnt much
  7. I got loads of artwork from a few friends, from Stuby, I got the coolest walking cane (I collect them) its made of cherry wood I think, and is topped with a brass ball that opens to a compass, and the most awesome golden dragon sat on a dragon egg that lighs up with a keidescope of colours, lots of Baileys products from a pot ice bucket to marshmellows and truffles to a litre of the stuff 'heaven'. Hope everyone has had a great Christmas I know I have
  8. I only have cards up too, pinned to my study board on the wall. Anything else and the cats would have it. All my presents and cards went out late because of study and being ill, this last two weeks. I'm trying to get the spirit too and it will only be my third ever Christmas. I do hope your pressie will cheer you, I bought it for you in February and saved it all this time. Be well Unc, lots of Christmas cheer. Love and hugs always
  9. Stuby is a blackbelt and can still kick a good un, I think i'm too tall and ungainly to be anything like graceful. Cost isn't an issue for me, but,I need to be really interested in something to be passionate enough to try it.
  10. It all comes from the parents and elders. The kid must be getting it from somewhere, and yeah he should be punished some how.
  11. Hey Unc Happy Birthday I've been a bit poorly and looking at the screen really hurts my head, Hopefully should have yours posted Tuesday, Hope things settle down for christmas
  12. I woke up this morning with tears streaming down my face, tears of pure joy. As a lot of you know, when I first joined here, I slept very little and when I did it was with nightmares so horrific I would wake up sweating and screaming. Last night was a first. So here is the dream: I wasn't alone, I was with Qtee, Mike and lil'q, we were in a shopping mall (I have never been inside one, but I have seen them on TV) it was Christmas, every store festooned with sparkling lights, Santa and everything else Chrismasy. The aisles where people walked were a minefield of toys that children (and adults) could interact with. Here is where the fun starts. Lil' q squealed and screamed her way through the toys. With each new find, a new squeal and a giggle, talking endlessly at such a rapid rate of speed, my heart raced. Playing hide-and-seek with daddy and papa, running back to grab my hand and tugging me towards her next find. What she didn't know, she gave her own words for. My chest swelling with joy and pride, feeling an exhaustion as I tried to keep up with her. What affected me most was her giggle, that is what was making me cry. I've heard children giggle before, Lukey's two girls Moira and Ruth are so lively and loud, so very, very different from my own childhood. So, from nightmares to tears of joy, from a scared boy to a man, Moving onwards and upwards all the time. I had to come here and write this, it was a must. This is still my second home, even though it has vastly changed, people come and go, but there is still the same feelings of a place to belong, to feel safe, and to spout words of poetry, fiction and fantasy, Where reality merges with tales of horror, love, romance and all other manner of themes. I love and miss you all, and I truly do all round Has anyone else had dreams like this, or have changed so much over time???

    animals

Hey Scotty and welcome to GA, I've been here a few years now, and met my fella here too. My second home. I love animals all of them. I have pigs, chickens, a dog two champion cats 2 soon to be champion kittens and an old mousing moggie. From time to time I rescue wildlife too, I have a bluebell wood with a badger sett and a fox's den, plus various birds, I get the odd ducks on my ponds too. Animals are a part of this planet, they have as much right to be here as we do. I respect and love them for what they are.
  22. I've lost a few animals over the years, never easy, always painful. I feel for you W_L I really do

    Life Update

Good to see you I have never looked back, after taking the decision to study online. I cannot praise enough the Open University, it's global, available to everyone, no previous qualifications needed, and all the help you could every wish for, to study, be motivated and any thing practical and financial too. After never doing an essay in my life, I have 4 assignments under my belt, the first 3 were all B's. I'm awaiting the fourth. And I have another course that has already started, its all about Humanities with a creative writing pathway, and the subjects are wide and varied. I'm doing Pompeii this week, fascinating.
  24. I know he doesn't get here often enough now, but I hope you will all join me and say: Happy 21ST Birthday Stuby Love you so much my baby, now and always
  25. Good to hear Layla Kids bring out some pearls sometimes. Lukey's girls (age 9 and 10) said to me "why can't you love a man? People are so silly sometimes" maybe a few grown ups, well more than a few, could learn that. Hey Thaddeus Thanks for stopping by. I'm all out of likes folks, catch ya next time Hugs all round
