    Chapter 14

Here I was going to grouse about the story being over too soon, but you spared yourself that by indicating there'd be more to come. I am happy to see that Joel's mom is OK with him having Peter as a boyfriend, and she has a sense of humor as well. Tittybong and it's people seem to be nice and happy, -just how small town life can be. I suppose it's boring if you grow up there and you're Joel's age though. Yes, I too had to look up 'yabby'. We call them crawdads here where I live. People even farm them nowdays. Most people didn't even eat them when I was growing up. Things have certainly changed. Thanks again for the delightful story.

    Chapter 2

This is a fabulous little surprise for a Sunday afternoon in February. It was an exercise in logic and some humor as well. Thank you for posting it. Now I have to get back to chores. I really appreciated leaving the planet for a while though. Thanks, lets do this again.

    Chapter 1

I'm excited to read another Space Pioneer story. You've got my interest already with this revised version of Earth's past, and it was nice to meet Jeff's parents. Surely you'll come up with some new surprises too. I expect them!
  4. I am happy that Andy visited Eustace at last. It was something that I saw as unfinished business since he left the farm, and it bothered me, since his meeting Eustace became what I view as the beginning of Andy's recovery from his tortured past. This was a fabulous chapter.
  5. Revelations galore this chapter. I suspected that Stefan's father had killed his mother from the outset. Other than the fact that she's known to be dead, I don't suppose we'll ever know who killed her for sure. Evil Uncle Ray is in jail, and I hope he dies there. Now Andy is going to see Eustace, and that makes me happy. He was kind to 'Eric' and it bothered me to know that Andy left without a word. Many questions were answered here this chapter, which was a pleasure to read.

    First Light

I remember some years ago that somebody claimed to have actually created cold fusion in a mason jar or some such thing. It seemed too good to be true, and it wasn't true of course. I do wish it was possible. That would be a real game changer. I don't think most people even think about it any more now. What a shame.

    Prologue

Growing up in the Roman Catholic Church can be difficult enough without all the corporeal assaults as well. It screwed up so many people. I was never assaulted physically. It was all mental with the guilt &ct.... it seems the local pastor turned out to be a pedophile. I was an altar boy, but he must've been afraid of my parents so he left me alone. He knew I'd tell. I found out many years later that others weren't so fortunate. I can only imagine how that messed other kids up, and it makes me shudder. I'll read this story as long as I can, but if the abuse becomes too painful I'm out. Cuts too close to the bone you see. It could have happened to me.

    Chapter 9

Sam has come into bloom, and what a difference it's made. A kissy huggie horny monster has been born. Such a transformation! Has Peter now got a rival? ...and then there are head bops. We call them noogies here in the U.S. They are administered to impudent (cheeky) twerps. I keep visualizing Martin as Liam Hemsworth; is that crazy?, or do you picture someone else?

    Nipple Obsessions & Boofheads!

    Chapter 6

Now I want sushi! This is a very good chapter for people to read who don't really get what those 'special' people are all about, and even then every day can be different. My friend has an adult son (30) who is savant autistic. No volume control, no telling what the next question or statement will be,-it's never dull, and along with some of the odd, repetitive actions, I've noticed that some people are disturbed by his presence on the street. I tell him to make himself at home on my front porch. We argue about geography and such. Many of my normal neighbors are far more annoying in their particular weirdness. They are unhappy, and care too much about what other people say and think about them. Yes, I suppose that's NORMAL . Hyacinth Bucket normal!

    Chapter 7

This is my new favorite chapter. I love the banter between the boys and the Aussie slang is a laugh. I've had grilled plantains with butter and sour cream, but never a grilled banana with chocolate. I'll try it sometime. Thanks for the fun read, -nobody does it quite like you...and while I'm at it, why don't you mail me a lyrebird or two; it'll keep the neighbors off balance, and the local mockingbird could use some inspiration.

    Chapter 4

'Conspirated'?! Did you do that just to get a reaction? It worked, and I'm still grinning. My new favorite chapter.

    Chapter 3

Every time I see the name 'Tittybong', I laugh. Where on Earth did you get that from? Peter is outrageous, -by the way.

    Chapter 1

I find myself sucked in by the zippy dialog. Don't know how you do it, but it always seems so natural. Such a gift you have, -I'm going to enjoy this...

    Chapter 1

Your timing couldn't be better, =on this gray winter day. It is a bit brighter now. Happy New Year!
  16. I'm relieved he turned back. The night is not over yet though, is it?
  17. Thank you for a beautiful chapter in this lovely story. It is a wonderful gift.

    Chapter 23

This is a fabulous adventure, and I'm so glad you posted it here on GA. This story bears reading a second time (and I can't say that about every tale). I think I enjoyed it more this time. Thank you.

    Chapter 16

This is a most amazing and informative chapter. To a layman like me, it's also one of the most disturbing, knowing that brilliant, educated minds have thought long and hard about all this stuff. The story really changes tone here.

    Chapter 1

I've read this before, but luckily for both of us I don't remember the ending at all. So now I'm reading it again, and if the story line comes back to me I promise not to tell. I do remember that I did like this story... and I enjoy the other stories you've published elsewhere.

    Chapter 3

Oh my, I pressed something and lost my whole review! I did like the story though; it's good to see everybody. Definitely a strange and sobering tale. I hope somebody tells the poor, patient mutants that they haven't been abandoned again, -and soon!

    A New Authority

Well, it's no surprise that they were followed from that Librae Arctus place. they'd better destroy them or take evasive action. Speaking of Librae A., That was a huge trove of information revealed. What luck for Shay! Just don't test me on it later. ( I won't remember half of it). I'm happy that the space bug has a name now. I am growing attached to it. Thanks for the new chapter, I enjoyed it.

    Chapter 21

The beauty you describe so elegantly was quite distracting from the real danger on this trip. Now we have to expect some bad guys in person. Should be interesting, whether I like it or not!

    Chapter 19

Jarra's 18 already? I suppose I haven't been paying enough attention, -kind of like in real life where everybody's kids grow incredibly fast and start looking up Univ- ersities before I realize they're driving cars. Yirgella impresses me with his ability to understand the treacherous and duplicitous nature of humanity. He isn't becoming nasty and vengeful though, and that is good. He's better than us, just a never ending font of positive energy. Humans can be so wonderful and then incredibly awful.

    Chapter 1

I can think of a great number of words to use to describe Alan: vain, selfish, lazy, grifting, mean, lying, bitchy... I can't hate him though since he hasn't done any real harm yet and at least he's not lying to himself about who he is and what he's doing. I hate hypocrites. I do not like this guy though. Will he ever get better, and maybe become human?
