I expected drama and you didn't disappoint. You give us hope and even some understanding of the furball communal mind. Fascinating but weird, -it's like a world where everyone is a telepath. I like these furballs more as the story goes on. I think I like them more than I do some people! Now if they save our boys I'll love them.

This was a fun chapter, with all the strange-as-fiction characters. I desperately need the cleaning hand ball. Can Opie send it to me for a couple of weeks? Finally Jonas meets his date with lovely eyes, but I think Fire is less than impressed, so I wonder why?

The cavalry arrives just in the nick of time, claiming ownership, -or only salvage rights? Former, not the latter please. You do have a gift for suspense. I just love this story.

Slow death by suffocation is a bleak prospect for anyone, no wonder Kyle is depressed. His short life just suddenly turned to crap, and it isn't fair. Life isn't fair for anybody. It just seems Kyle got an extra share of bad. He still lives though, so there's hope. The furballs have been awfully quiet lately, making me worry...and wonder why that is.

Your reply to ColumbusGuy answered my question about Akama from Attunga. That's an excellent connection. Australian Spoonbills are white. They're pink where I'm from, but the same otherwise. They love rivers. It was an excellent walkabout -except for the poor skink! I wouldn't eat it ether, I like skinks.

Maximilian is stubbornly content in his isolation, and is just fine with being a ghost. Aaron is both a threat and a challenge to his status quo. Will Aaron succeed in melting down some of Max's barriers? It will be a big job, and I hope he's up for the task. -
Jim becomes human, -he even tells a joke. Can he be trusted? Who knows?. At least he's become human, and where's our furball? Then suddenly there's a big bang... sounding like a cliffhanger.

This is a lovely piece to read...but what has happened to this child isn't nice at all. Poor little guy, life has been so cruel to him. I only hope that his cold-hearted Aunt will die soon. He'd probably be better off with strangers. -

We've all had bad events in our childhoods that shaped our lives. Max has had more than his share. Too much loss, so much pain. Can he ever recover? I'm curious to see... -
This is a fast moving scene, as disturbing as it is enlightening. The furball aliens (I love the new name) are far more advanced and intelligent than the arrogant, self-centered human power mongers can understand or tolerate as an unknown threat. So they decide to kill them all. Typical stupid humans: shoot first, ask questions later. It makes people look like stupid apes. Get down to the bunker boys and take the furball with you!

This is a painful beginning, but my curiosity is strong. Ordinarily this abuse to a child would be such a turn off that I'd go no further, but I have to find out where this story is going. You have my attention for sure...

So, you come sneaking in like an arbiter and overwhelm me again. Happy Birthday Shay, here's a giant Aphid!, -that's the picture in my mind. It's a fabulous concept,... only what do they eat? It's clear that Shay's powers are growing with his confidence, just like Ayize says. He is a wise man and I like him more every time I get a look. He has a very clear and distinctive perspective. Clever man. Then you drop the bomb: Elia is Mira's sister? You leave us with an absolute cliffhanger. Be careful; you may win the prize...

I get more intrigued with this story with each chapter. Now that Kyle is realizing that the alien life on Tantalus is communicating to him and he's freaking out, I'm more curious than ever about what's going on with these beings.

Kyle is having a really bad day. This creature sounds like some kind of three-eyed badger or something...then there's the cliffhanger ending. This is quite an exciting story!

Spy flies now? I am anxious to find out who's doing all this sabotage and now spying. The boys are going to get to go on a fascinating trip. Will they get to see the dolphins of Monkey Mia? It's so close to Carnarvon... I do love this story, each chapter is a delight.

Wild and weird things go on in that part of Louisiana. It's a world of it's own.

Nice opening, it could go anywhere. I recently read Do Over by DK, and it was excellent. The narrator went back to the 80's also... going down memory lane, -with a big twist.

I enjoy reading about anything you write. Some of these little stories could be expanded, -this one in particular.

I'd love to hear Mirri's music, and am happy that Jarara wants to do more with it. I think I like this new character. As expected, the terrorists have started to act against Yirgella. I hate manipulative sociopaths, and that's what they are.

More than just a sea cruise, wasn't it? I'm so glad for Davey and Brian, -not too sure about the world though. It's different but still the same. I'm curious about Sean and wonder what'll become of him. Then there's that whole idea that after all these last few years, plus having lived to early middle-age already, Davey is still quite young and has a long life ahead of him. An Amazing, wonderful story, thank you.

I don't know how I missed this chapter when it was first posted, but I did. I'm so relieved and happy to have read it. Chapter 38 had me somewhat disappointed. I should've known better. This story continues to surprise me. That is a good thing. Thanks, and now I'm off to read the next chapter...
