I think my avatar tells part of the story. I haven't looked at my "homo-strology" in a while...but I'm pretty sure I agreed with most of mine.

She'll always have good old Mommy dearest to fall back on, up until the day either one of them dies - probably even past that point, in fact. So...what's the point in having even a shred of niceness if you're a, erm...girl, who neither wants nor even needs it, at all?

A bad day?? Ever since Jeff was handed the reality that he can't just have Wade like he wants, every day is a bad day for him. Probably just about anyone could have swapped places with Will and flirted and been met with the moody bitch attitude.

Maybe this is just me being horribly cynical, but all this talk of "the next movie"...assumes that there will even be, a "next movie".

Well...I have to say that I didn't expect this! I'd been thinking it'd turn out that Tibial would be unable to go through with it because he'd be thinking too much of Chad. So much for that... Wonder what's going to happen next?

Wouldn't this fall under Will himself wondering just what's going on? I would think his getting out of lunch duty will be addressed, whether it's a punishment, whether it was required duty, or just where-the-fuck-ever it came from. Besides, even if it was required duty that he got out of...you assume the other kids will notice that fact. Nevermind that Will's keeping up the premise that he got punished, punished badly at that.

OK...really?? One causes problems in the relationship by deciding that they want to play the field, then they kind of reconcile, then the other one decides that he's gonna go play the field. Gee Mark...where have we seen that before?? With regards to 9/11...this is probably going to sound shocking to some people, but probably the underlying thing that I picked up from 9/11 was this: Life goes on. Seriously...granted, I can still remember how that day went for me, and it was very obviously not the typical day. But all in all...I was in my second hour class for the day when the announcement came over the PA, the rest of that class was watching things unfold on the TV in the classroom, the next two classes didn't really do much, then came lunchtime. After that, classes seemed to get back to normal. Hell, I was on student council in HS, and the meeting we were supposed to have later on after school...still went on, as planned. In otherwords: The world didn't completely shut down for it. Not where I was, anyway. I mean, I get that its effects would be felt differently from place to place, but it had no real great effect on me at all. I didn't know anyone personally who died then, and for what it's worth, the first time I ever flew on a plane was in 2009 (right around this time that year, actually).

If there's any Karma left in the world, they'll both give each other diseases. XD

Hmmm. Ask some silly questions...get some silly answers! Hee hee. I myself have sort of a habit of asking for a bit more information whenever someone asks me for advice. Yeah, it might be that I'm being nosy by doing that, but I try to give as much of an informed answer as I can. Sometimes, this has the side effect of making the person asking me realize just what an idiot they are by asking, either because their asking for advice is a really stupid question, or because they're about to make a really stupid choice. In any case, I don't see how #1, #2, or any kind of answer really, can be a valid answer, without knowing more. But what if there is no more, or if I'm just not sure what to say based on what I do know? That's where #3 comes in. For all I know, all they wanted was for me to validate what they'd already decided to do. But how do I know, that all they wanted was for me to validate what they'd already decided to do? What if they were really not sure what to do? Well...unless you're psychic and can read their mind, you have no way of knowing their reason for asking you for advice in dealing with their current situation. Could the advice you give be wrong? Absolutely. But again, unless you can read their mind, you have no way of knowing that your advice is wrong...until it's too late, you've already given it, and it's been followed. Does it really matter what advice we give? Well, the answer I'm going to give might not make much sense at first. I would say...it never, doesn't matter. Meaning, I don't think there's ever a time when giving advice will never ever matter, no matter what the person's situation is. I think there's always going to be at least one set of circumstances where giving advice to someone, might just make that bit of difference. Then...why would you answer? Maybe I'm being jerk-y...but I don't get answering a question asking whether you like to bottom or to top, with "I don't like sex." I don't get doing that, at all.

It is interesting that no one in this society has thought to consider the potential emotional..."side effects", shall we say, like the ones Chad and Tibial are experiencing now, of the coupling traditions that they have. No one that we yet know of, anyway. Looking forward to what comes down next!

Darius, the faithful son to Brad and Robbie, who kept him from being whisked back to Ohio with Bitty even though she was a totally unfit mother...while yes, there's Will being the totally wayward son and acting up to those same two parents (Brad and Robbie). Is it any wonder why Darius is now such a jerk to him? Bitty being mentioned in this chapter made me think back to those storylines.

From your review... With regards to Will, I don't think that's anything more than, here's Will going on about how he's slept with this guy and that guy and yada yada...while Jeff, who prefers to be monogamous, recently hooked up with Wade, who's not going to dump Matt anytime soon. I can't imagine that Will really endeared himself to Jeff, especially after the dig at hooking up with Wade. As for Jeff secretly being family...how does that really affect that he wants Wade at all? This, again, I think is Jeff not looking too kindly on guys who sleep around - nevermind the fact that Jeff himself used to hustle. Could that still be haunting him, perhaps?

Even though he was sitting at the back of the plane, I do hope that Jeff heard at least the part of the conversation about deliberately breaking up relationships to go after the guy you're interested in.

Getting into a relationship for no reason at all...hmmm...is it any wonder why such a relationship would make for a bad storyline?

From the shortest chapter yet to the longest chapter yet... And yet, the readers are still left guessing. Yeah, I'm wondering who's coming in that back door, too. How much more can Derek deal with in just one day?

This...is easily one of the most erotic story chapters I've ever read. The "sex as a ritual" aspect of this chapter is very fascinating. I don't think I've ever read a story that utilized it quite like this, before. Will this become a recurring (or semi-recurring) theme of the story? Between the clues you give in your story description and the clues you give in this chapter, I feel like I can predict a few things of what's going to be coming up. The thing is...the way you've set it up, that only has me anticipating what's in store! Very strong start to this story, overall. Looking forward to more!

The closest thing to having a read on his sexuality that I could/would guess when I glanced back (yes, that is what I was looking for! ) is that he seemed to have a preference for the male population. Whether he's into females enough to be considered bi, or not, he definitely seems skewed towards the guys.

Seeing this made me go back and look at Bloodlines for his interaction with Matt. Thank you, for that erm...inspiration.
