Haha-ha, that's perfect! ...storm coming their way from the mystery Asian. Oh yes, she's a very special creature *chuckle* As always, wonderful writing, superb storyline...Captivating Chapter Thank you very much, Onim. *bows*

Yup. *rubs hands* I have to scatter my mysteries over three books. Kavan needs to learn when to be silent or at least respectful. Don't hold your breath. I did find the Legate interesting when he came to take Mother; we need to know more about him. There will be more. I loved your comment and in a few weeks you'll find out why.

I think we all enthusiastically agree on this. I can't tell you how happy me all those questions make. Thank you so much!

If you remember chapter 2: I: ...You got caught. They held you captive and purposefully starved you for weeks until your hunger was so great you were close to losing control. Then they let you escape near the beach in the hope you’d succumb to blood frenzy and slaughter some of those drunken frat boys ... II: Konstantin wasn’t the mindless killer, the bloodthirsty monster I thought. On the contrary, with unparalleled control over his hunger, he managed not to give in to his baser instincts and cause a massacre among my brothers and friends. He had only killed one, me. And to make up for it he turned me and gave me my second life, not that I had been happy about that, but one might think it was the lesser evil. The only way to avoid a massacre, was to kill/turn Kavan. Due to his condition (which wasn't exactly his fault) he wasn't able to ask for Kavan's consent, to find his One Childe could be understood as approval of his actions by the fates (but that's my own opinion). II: Simone however, wasn’t done. Smiling, she ripped out Konstantin’s claws with her bare fingers. He barely reacted. “That’s for turning a human without his consent.” He has been punished for turning Kavan without his consent, rightly or not you is for you to choose and probably Caspian as it's his rule not to turning humans without their consent, it's not a general vampire rule. Lord Caspian is an idiot not to remove the squabbling threat thy poise to him and everyone else. if he lets' them live, then he deserves what the fates may befall him... Well, let's see what the fates have in store for him in the next chapters. Dr Clark, an enigma that should be wrapped in bacon and fed to wild pigs ...what poetic justice it would be... I'm not sure what you mean by this statement. Thank you for this great comment drsawzall! I hope I could answer at least some of your questions. I don't want to/ can't answer your questions regarding to future events, naturally.

LOL. I was hoping the Newly Turned Brothers might start showing a new Gift perhaps Patience ...every brother will get his own story. To be honest, I have to be patient too. I want to blurt out everything at once. As for their Father he might of been turned by an Asian Werewolf? Oh, I love this idea--- Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Johnny! ~Addy

When I noticed Ry’s blood on my shirt, I freaked even though I knew he was safe in Doc’s lab getting a transfusion of my blood. I had to get rid of the stains; it felt like they burned my skin. Doc and Konstantin shook their heads at me when I ran out of the ward. The doorbell rang on the way back to the lab from my room, where I’d changed into a fresh shirt. I looked around, wondering where the guards were. No one was around to answer it. When I got closer, an overwhelming urge to open th

Scary pumpkins, phew.

He garmbles.

I'm channeling my inner Ash here.
-
As if the pile of sorrow hadn't been high enough already, now his boss is on a rampage... Poor Ash. The black polo Cove wore fit so tightly to his chest and arms that it practically looked painted on. He may have been able to hide it, but he definitely drooled. Totally. I saw it.
-
I wouldn't do that...I want to see him catching his rabbit.
-
I hope Ash isn't pulling his hair out while panicking, I'm not sure bald is looking good on him. Anyway, I feel sorry for him, he's a a scaredy- erm... rabbit, his family pressures him and Cove and little-him aren't exactly subtle. Rabbits run, Cove, tone it down.
-
Oh, I do have plans, interesting plans....
-
If all went well, he'd never contact Cove ever again. Yeah, right. With this family---Looking forward how he'll try to get out of this trap.

It's never far, when I'm writing.

Thank you, Gee. Kavan is Konstantin’s One Childe, so I think that excuses him. Yep. Kavan threw his shoe on the bank; it’s probably a different style and size from Rylan’s. Hell, if Caspian will know all that stuff about Rylan’s death, he’ll probably know that too, lol. Better not piss off the master of the city.
-
Thank you, centex. At first I thought it would be a bit much. Mother must be destroyed. I think we all can agree on this. Excellent update, can't wait for the next one... Thank you!

Plans within plans--- Kavan now knows Konstantin can silently follow him. Is this good or bad? Will they have any of his special skills or will they have other ones? Adding a scientist ( helping doc?) and a police officer ( a potential tough fighter) might eventually strengthen the clan when they are fully trained as vampires. Good idea! The family dynamics might help the two new vampires adjust and eventually create a solid, skilled team. But who would benefit from such a team? You mentioned some important points, scrubber6620, very important points.

Thank you, Onim. I will see what I can do.

Chapter 2- Dangerous Dimples

Cool! I thought everyone would know where this story was heading. I am enjoying it immensely! I'm so glad! Thank you for following the story, Terry!

Henri Delacour skillfully crafted a trap, and Mother happily triggered it. Counting on her greed for glory and prestige, he provoked her, with an inconsequential issue, to launch an ill-advised attack on his clan. He wiped out most of Mother’s veteran soldiers with one smart move, nullified her reputation, and eliminated her as a viable competitor. Ultimately, he was in such a perfect position that he could even let the survivors go instead of killing them and/or raiding the Night Clan’s c
