    Wow

You all are looking at this from the wrong angle. This person obviously learned a lesson from childhood. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again. This driver didn't give up! They kept trying! Even if it took 100 corrections, they were going to get out of that parking lot. I've actually seen a woman in LA get out of her car in tears because she couldn't get her car out of the parking spot. Yet, this driver never gave up. That being said, this person has no business driving.
  6. I dated someone in the closet when I lived in California. It is a bad idea dating someone that isn't out. He'd come to my place to have dinner. We'd drive hours away and he would still look over his shoulder. This man is still in the closet nearly 4 years later in one of the most gay-friendly states in the USA. I'd equate it to dating a married man and expecting him to leave his wife for you. He says he'll do it, but in the end he won't. Just out of curiosity, what is his exact reason for not coming out? Is he afraid of rejection? Living with the enemy? Is he reliant on a bigot's money?

    Story

Interesting review! When I read this story, I always read the essays out loud. Mitch's essay was me remembering how I felt seeing Danny on almost a daily basis. It felt like I could never escape him at school. Danny's essay was me pretending Danny felt bad about what happened. In real life, Danny has never shown the least bit of remorse for his actions. Danny remains the coward I labeled him as in this story.

    Story

It has been two years since I wrote this story, but it is always on my mind. If only Danny and I had reconnected at some point. The story is essentially a fictional tale of Danny making up for his mistakes. It is hard to ever give up on the boy that gave you his teddy bear when you were in the hospital scared. Thanks for reading it and your review.

  21. WARNING: This poem deals with physical abuse. --- Your muscular body, tanned and tattooed, Hid a monster with intentions I clearly misconstrued. How the hell did I miss all the signs? Why did I have to be so fucking blind? Those beautiful eyes, flickering with danger, My innocence gone in one senseless act of anger. Muscular arms swung, no longer just holding me tight, I wish I could delete that day, erase the terror and fright. The hitting and kicking, you chose this assau

    Sooooo, Now What's Next?

How about a modern romance between a shape-shifting prostitute and an evil wizard?

    Rip: Trebs

RIP Robert, you were a true friend. There is so much more I'd like to say, but I'm still in shock and can't put it into words.
  25. Welcome back, CJ!
