  1. I don't know. Logically, it doesn't make sense. You must know the other person to a certain extent to actually 'love' him or her - or else, it's lust. But then again what about love actually follows logic or hard-core rationality? Who knows maybe we do have souls and all that mysterious spiritual connection with certain people... There is something very romantic about the idea that love happens at first sight which is why the hopeless romantic in me wants to believe in it.
  2. Happy Birthday Lacey I remember talking to you personally a very, very long time ago. You don't even probably remember, but anyway. Have fun, today and always.
  3. Generally women are put up on a higher pedestal due to their looks. It is said women are generally better looking than men. More aesthetically attractive? Well, do you agree with that? Personally, as gay man, I think men could be just as attractive. However, I do think the percentage of good looking female is higher than that of men - at least in my experience that has been the case. But the best looking men can be just as good looking as the best looking women. What's your opinion on this?
  4. Happy Birthday! Have a great year ahead.
  5. I think the OP is in a better position to decide what he should do and judge how his boyfriend would react than I or you. Personally, I wouldn't find it fit to stay with a person who'd berate me for something I have absolutely no control over. Having said all of that, I can understand your point very well. For instance, I love my family very much and believe they do the same to me too, but can't for the life of me come out to them - not to my parents at least who are very conservative, religious, and massively ill-informed when it comes down to the subject of homosexuality. Bu I still say a relationship like that should be based on trust and that, if the thing is bothering the OP so much - it's better to take the opportunity and be open to his boyfriend about it if it's possible. Discussions like that can strengthen a relationship more. And no, I didn't take offense to what you've said, and I don't think you were picking a fight either.
  6. And do what? Keep it hidden and make the problem more prominent? Here the member seems to be more concerned with his relationship with his boyfriend than just those dreams. I got the impression that he feels he is guilty of cheating on his boyfriend even if on a subconscious level. In anyway, the 'guilt' or 'confusion' part won't just evaporate unless he talks to someone, and imo his boyfriend is the best person as this is somewhat related to him and his judgement. Of course the member would understand what's best for him than I do. If the boyfriend is jealous...well, then there are worse things that can result from that, even if this aspect remains hidden.
  7. If it happened once or twice or a few times at best there's nothing to worry about it. If you are having this repeatedly, and in high frequency, then it might have some significance than just being a meanignless dream. One reason I can think for it could be that if you have been in a monogamous relationship with your boyfriend for some time, your mind can veer off to these thoughts as you don't get that in real life. You may have well repressed these urges in your conscious state (you may not even have to repress them - maybe they just don't even bother you in your conscious state) which is why your subconscious mind may take you for these ... um ... rides. There is still absolutely nothing to worry about this. They are just dreams, and even if they have any significance, as long as you don't act on your urges, you are not cheating on your boyfriend, are you. My advice - talk to your boyfriend openly about it. I don't think he will mind. We have no controls over our thoughts anyway, and if we extend that a little - no control over our dreams either. These will go away soon, believe me.
  8. Happy Birthday, hope you have a wonderful life ahead.

    Chapter 21

  10. Well, depending on the context and intent, I may dislike a word. But really disliking a word generally? That sounds too much to me, and no, I don't really have any word that I can say I'd dislike hearing all the time.
  11. Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great year ahead.
  12. I'd prefer female doctor. I get along with females easily. But a guy doctor wouldn't be a problem if he's soft, understanding and tolerant.
  13. ^ Take it in a relaxed way. There shouldn't be anything "terrifying" about creating and updating a blog. I mean, just pour your thoughts down into words and post them. It's not the same as making a perfect story - it's just your blog, your own personal space. : )
  14. Congrats, I am happy for you. Slowly come out completely if you feel you (and they) are ready for a revelation like that.
  15. Count me in. Don't want to mention my exact location in the open forum like this, but let's say I am somewhere from South Asia. (And I still live in my native country).
  16. Thanks everyone. Guess I need to increase my post a bit first... Google Blogspot. Go from there, they gave the whole instruction there...
  17. That's how I imagine myself to be too.
  18. Is it just me, or is there a disproportionately larger number of bottoms in the gay community than tops? (Keep it in mind that my connection with the LGBT community is almost exclusively limited to the virtual world, so my stats could be skewed and inaccurate). Anyway, I'm a virgin, but I think I'd consider myself versatile as I have fantasies of doing both. That said, going by my nature, I have a feeling I'd lean more towards bottoming. But I think doing both with your partner would make the relationship more "balanced". Hey, you don't have to be sexually active to figure that out - just think of the position you take in your fantasies. That said, one can probably have a better idea when they are active in a relationship.
  19. Unfortunately, I don't have the "Manage Blog" option. I have "Manage content", but that seems to be a different thing. Thanks anyway.
  20. Don't know if this is the right place, but how do I create a blog? There are so many things left unsaid, I think it's high time I create a blog and pour my thoughts into it. I tried searching the forum, but can't seem to find anything satisfactory. Please help. Thanks.
  21. Haven't really finished anything in recent times, so can't say. I do think I will be very pleased with myself if I can finish my story - but it depends on the story, right? I don't think I will be all that happy if it's a tragedy. I mean, I will still have that sense of accomplishment, but writing a tragedy can be heartbreaking as well.
  22. I think infatuation is similar to lust in a number of ways. Both are mostly based on outward appearances of the person without much inner-knowledge about him or her. Love, on the other hand encompasses a lot more - things like trust, respect, understanding, commitment, etc must be present there to a certain degree.
