  2. Gay life .... well.... I live in a town of 15,000 a stone throw from the state capital of 200,000 people and we barely have a straight social life. There is one (straight) brothel in the capital city called the Gentleman's Club and a sex shop I've seen advertised on late night TV but I have absolutely no clue where the hell it is supposedly located even knowing the street from the advert. There are all of 3 nightclubs, none of which are LGBTIA. We don't have gay pride parades, and the states single Uni has a LGBTIA alliance but that's about it for them. All private middle to high schools are affiliated to some christian denomination or other and several are presently being sued for kicking out LGBTIA students, while most of the public schools are in extremely homophobic low socioeconomic areas. I do know there is a 'database' of gay friendly tourist locations promoted by the local tourism council, and I recall a website mentioning community group holds friendly (non-sexual) get togethers for the LGBTIA community once a month.
  3. 10000 BC has to be the worst movie I've watched. The plot consists of some big spiritual journey or something because the hero's girlfriend got kidnapped. The actual movie starts in stone age north america with a bunch of guys in leather huts who hunt mammoths. The hero is pursuing the kidnappers of his girlfriend or something, so he hikes out of his valley and it cuts to him suddenly being in Africa, stumbling onto a mud hut village with a bunch of tribesmen waving spears at him, only to be interrupted by a sabre tooth cat (who come from north america) and using his great and mystical powers to tell it to go away by starting at it with a constipated expression. The main story line seems to revolve around a confused mix of all the mammoths disappearing, his girlfriend being kidnapped and him having a spat with some rival for becoming chieftain. So, after impressing the primitive africans (who I note speak his language) with his sabre tooth cat herding, the hero trounces off and turns up in a confused mix of Babylon and Egypt where a bunch of weird old guys with long fingernails are pretending to be gods while living in a giant version of the Babylon gate while slaves build a pyramid using ... the stolen mammoths ... and kidnapped slaves from every single ethnic group you can imagine. Mammoths who should die in all of two seconds pulling around giant rocks in a desert. Also, these were the bad guys who had someone enslaved half the world with no army; The ending just made it worse, but I won't spoil everything ... also acting sucked and the CGI was meh. The only thing decent about it was absolutely none of the men wear shirts XD
  4. Just read the latest chapter - great as always. Good to see Kieran's character being developed. Honestly I'm not sure on the crossover. I'm thinking ... Born Wolf or Circles of Hell but you've got so many amazing stories it could be connected to.
  5. Oooh ... very nice Sasha. I love what you've done so far and it's a great teaser to make me want more. Kieran seems like an interesting character and I look forward to seeing more hopefully.
  6. For me meeting Cia was more like "OMG WILL YOU SIGN AN AUTOGRAPH?!!!!" Heh. I'd always loved Cia's work, and it was pretty amazing to meet them on chat when I came to GA.
  7. Found a pitbull-less version
  8. Same here. I'm a naughty witch So I went and splurged on a copy of the ebook 5 minutes ago. Sitting down with snack food to finish it in a reading binge.
  9. Just sat down and read MUSH last week after not doing so. Love it. Looking forward to when you continue Sasha. I was thinking, this song really seems to fit the story; especially the parts in the female voice. The parts by Pitbull, not entirely.
  10. Read everything up to Chapter 9.1 the other day in a naughty sitting up all night session that I tend to get into when I find awesome new stories. Born Wolf isn't new, but it's amazing to read the edited version. Even better than the almost fantastic original I read about a year ago. Sitting down now to read chapter 9.2 with anticipation.. I had an idle question; what's the source of the name Tahryn? It's a very interesting and unusual name. Am I right in pronouncing it Taron?
  11. Neither, to be honest, PC gaming all the way for me. I'm not a huge console fan, I find them to be expensive blocks of metal I don't use much where as a computer is multi-purpose. I occasionally (like one every six months) sit down with my brothers and play some Halo, but that's it for console. I'm more of a fan of the type of games that exist on PC anyway.
  12. Wicked Witch

    Chapter 9

Uh-oh. What did Nassau do? D: You tease Sasha. Can't wait for the next chapter
  13. Wicked Witch

    Chapter 7

This ... made me ill, I have to admit. You are an amazing writer, because that scene with Christopher will forever be etched in to my mind. I hope someone hunts down Derek and rips him apart slowly and painfully. I felt like I was in that room, watching it happen. This cliffhanger is killing me, I HAVE to know what happens.
  14. Very very creative take on the theme and quite an enjoyable read It's a nice change from the normal highschool tale as well
  15. Just found this story when this new chapter popped up in the newly added list on the front page and have been on a binge to read everything in this story over the last few days. I love it. Great character development and plot It's apparent Mr. Templeton set Billy up to try and get him to date Candice, but I'm not sure about why he still spends his time at Mr. Murphy's. I have a bad feeling about what is going on there. I think he knows though and is trying to work out a way to 'fix' his son without loosing the missus? I look forward to more chapters to see if I am right
  16. hmmm ... Must go and read this again. I read it over on LitE like a year ago and loved it but I look forward to reading a re-edited one *puts on list*
  17. Fighting Fate is I believe my my first story I posted on here. I put it up in January last year and then a case of writers block meant I never proceeded with it, however I've just come back to it and decided I really want to continue this story - so I've just done some minor edits to the first chapter (mostly renaming people) and I'm in the midst of writing a second chapter. It was originally posted with the name Dancing with Fate but I've renamed it as I've rethought where I was intending to take the story, into a plot that I think I'll have an easier time writing. I'd love if you'd check out the story and give me feedback here. [sharedmedia=stories:stories:3348]
  18. Wicked Witch

    Chapter 1

What a great story. Looking forward to the next installment. I like your future society you've hinted at here. I'm not sure on PoV, I kind of want it to continue in Miah's but I think it'd be good from any of them.
  19. So happy to see a sequel. I read Timberpack Chronicles nearly over a year ago on that other site that shall not be named and I loved it So happy to see the story continue.
  20. Wicked Witch

    Epilogue

What a beautiful, and at time sad story. You almost stopped my heart a couple of times with all the twists and turns and drama and near death. Amazing. I did have a question - the link to the sequel doesn't work, and the copyright date is 2008. Is this story being reposted from previous and if so, may I ask what the background to why it was taken down is? I'm new to GA is all. Thanks
  21. Always loved Rob's work, been reading him since Literotica. I didn't know he had work that will be released in the premium authors section, I was considering buying premium the other day and I think I'll go do it as soon as Cassini comes out.
  22. Lovely end to your story I hate to see it end but you finished the tale superbly. Congratulations on the anthology
  23. Wicked Witch

    Chapter 1

Please don't leave us here, teetering on the edge! I so want to see more about the world of Synchronicity. Magic and science fiction in one epic story, blended in a way that seems totally natural. It'd be a sin not to use this world again in the future. I really enjoyed this - it is just the type of short story I wish I could write. PS: What an epic name for a planet!
  24. Hmm, a good idea. I'm going to try that that out next time I get stuck.
  25. After finishing reading Born Wolf over the last two night, I must say I am enthralled! A sequel would be amazing; Born Wolf is one of the best werewolf romances I've read and hands down the best gay one.
